May 6, 2012Something really weird is happening with my xperia mini pro (sk17a): Whenever I turn the front camera on, WIFI DISCONNECTS!It reconnects automatically as soon as I turn the front camera off.Is this a known issue? Is there any solution?

It reconnects the network automatically after a short while. Other wifi phones and PCs use this access point with no problems. I've checked my phone in an airport, a coffeshop and two university networks and came up with the same issue

May 12, 2012I have a 3G enabled SIM which works fine on galaxy fit.But in my xperia mini pro, when I select WCDMA the network disconnects and shows "emergency calls only".I have shown that to my service provider but he says thats the phones fault.I have also tried another 3G SIM from another provider in my phone but the problem persists.This is a HARDWARE problem, I got it rectified at SONY service center (free of cost!!!).They replaced the PCB( Printed Circuit Board).

Feb 10, 2010I have turned on the flip-to-silent setting in my n 97 mini and today I used it to silent a call. Only one call. After that I left the phone face down on my desk waiting for an important call. After about an hour I picked up the phone and to my shock saw that I had 20 missed calls!!!! It apparently silenced all those calls although it was still in general mode.

Mar 20, 2012I'm using Xperia Play & having disconnection problems with BOTH Sony Ericsson HBH-DS220 & MW600. Initially I thought it was HBH-DS220 not playing nice with Android, so I bought MW600 Last Saturday, but sadly Problem persists.Problem Description: Simply put, I'd be lucky to finish a phone call over the bluetooth headset without it dropping connection. The MW600 would still display the telephone number, while in fact no sound is coming or going through, and then it takes a few seconds for the "Bluetooth" toggle button on the phone call UI to disappear. Whenever that happens, I'll have to frantically yank off the earbud, take out the phone, and start appologising to the other person for missing the last few seconds of conversation.It would also sometimes lose connection when I'm playing games, the sound would stop coming in from the game, then the game will freeze for a second or two, and suddenly the sound would start coming out from the the built in loud speakers and give everyboy else a heart attack.i'm using stock firmware, never rooted/unlocked:

EDIT: On another note, after posting this, I found I have put my email as the displayed username... (I already have an account over at blog.sonymobile, and over there, username means email address. So I put my email address when I log on here, the button says something like "create account"... yes, its a bit weird, yet plausible since I was thinking you're confirming my email before proceeding onto anothe create account screen. There was no warning THAT username is the one going to be displayed.)

Jun 29, 2015For the last month or two, my phone storage has been "running low". I bought a 16GB SD card to get by on my vacation for pictures and all that, worked out. Moved a BUNCH of stuff over to the SD card, still says it's running low. I decided to buy a 64GB SD card and put it in, but the phone still says the storage is running low WITH the SD card mounted.
How am I supposed to get rid of the notification that the storage is low and actually be able to download apps and take pictures?

Aug 13, 2010I know there is another thread about the Telus update that came out a few days ago, but that thread is more about issues installing the update.Like most of you, i looked for new features and have not really found any, but figure there must be some improvements in 32MB of fixes.One thing I have noticed is much better battery life. After 3 days, I have noticed that I have significantly more battery when I get home at night with my normal usage.I am wondering if anyone else has experienced the same. Normally by the time I would get home, my phone would report under 15% or less. However I do have a Seidio extended battery (yeah the big honking one). The last few days I have had 40-50% battery left.
Since the milestone/droid has never recognized the extended battery's extra capacity, it reports battery % based on the standard battery size. So even though my battery would report 5%, I could run for 10-15 hours at 5%.So, is the battery life better with the update, or is the milestone now recognizing the extra capacity of the battery and just reporting it correctly.

Jun 30, 2012Every time my phone wakes up, I receive an error message that the background data is restricted.What sort of things should I be looking for to stop this from happening? Right now I have a smart action running called "Display" that enables the cellular data to run when the screen turns on. With this smart action the notification disappears within 3 seconds. Obviously a better solution would be to keep the alert from appearing at all.
