My MHL works on my Xperia, but for some reason it disconnects and connects every few minutes, but when I enable Airplane mode it works fine and smooth, but I want to use WiFi and watch Netflix .....

No sim on my iphone 4 status bar, works fine for few minutes after re-inserting SIMÂ or restarting phone, but after a certain time reverts back to same situation, updated software still no respite.

Ive always had my wifi on that way when i enter a saved network or att hotspot it switches to wifi and i save on data useage. Well, sometime after the gingerbread update my wifi stopped working correctly. It would be on and show the wifi symbol but when two saved network locations, it would "connect" to the network but no data was being sent or recieved. I even tried it on an att hotspot and no luck. The wifi turns on fine and says it is connected but it hasno signal as indicated by the grayed out wifi signal bar. Now i read something that said to put the phone in airplane mode and thenturn wifi on and it should work fine, well i did that and it works as long as i stay in airplane mode. I dont see this as a fix but instead as only more evidence to an apparent problem. What good is wifi on a phone if i can only use it when the phone can no longer work as a phone.

It reconnects the network automatically after a short while. Other wifi phones and PCs use this access point with no problems. View 1 Replies View RelatedI went into Airplane Mode today using the widget. It turned off my Wifi (but not GPS?) and went into Airplane Mode just fine. Then when using the widget to turn Airplane Mode off I see my Wifi turn back on, but the Airplane Mode isn't removed. The only way I can find to actually take the phone out of Airplane mode is to hold the power button and toggle it from the silent/airplane/power popup.

But today, during several phonecalls, I was told that they hear me sunk, like I was in a jar or something, and sometimes with few cracklings.
iPhone 4 8gb/White. Purchased November 2011, AT&T.Plug in the 30-pin connector, and USB to PC: it will chirp, but then stop. This same PC/USB connector supports 2 other iPods (4th gen) and a iPhone 4S (granted, not all are plugged in together, but one at a time!), and the White iPhone 4 is the only one with the issue. Tried on another PC, USB plugged directly in, no hubs, no extensions, again, a cable that is tried and true and works on other iOS devices. SAME problem. Chirp-on, then disconnect after 1 second. Does this repeatedly 3 or 4 times in a row, then gives up for a while.
Tried with straight USB AC power cube - same result. Tried a different USB AC power cube - same result. I have tried to power the phone off and charge it with the power off, but when the port wakes back up, it turns the phone back on. I managed to keep enough charge in the phone to update it from 5.0.1 to 5.1.1. Also did a "reset all settings" - and the problem persists.
I have NOT yet done an erase all settings (is it necessary?) or restore, but mostly because the port won't stay connected long enough to do so. This phone has NO liquid sensors tripped, does not have a lot of use on it, only has 17 total hours usage on cellular usage. I have an appointment at the Apple store tomorrow. Is there something I should try in the meantime?

As of this morning, everytime I connect my phone to my computer it rapidly connects and disconnects. After searching the web far and wide I've only come up with dead ends. Before today it worked fine, I don't think it's the cord because it works when i tried it with another computer and works when I charge my phone with the wall charger (which I'm forced to do now). Error messages have popped up like 0xE8000001 and 0XE8000065.

I just upgrades from a Curve 8330 to the Storm 2 9550. I paired it with my car and it constantly connects then dis connects with the factory hands free. This makes it difficult to answer calls and I drop calls in the middle. The curve worked fine with my car so it's not the car.

I've had the phone for less than a month. Â Every time I turn my phone on the Airplane Mode ON is showing on the startup screen, but when I go into settings it is unticked, so meant to be off.Â

Also, I've noticed that the NFC has sometimes been automatically ticked in the settings when I turn it on.Â

I did a factory reset, but that never changed anything.

I then contacted Sony Support and took their advice to go into PC Companion and click Software Updates, then Repair, which it did, but it is still coming on in Airplane Mode, even when unticked in settings.

My mobile network has been disconnected because of it and is telling me I can't make calls until Flight Mode is switched off, even when I switch it off on the startup screen too.
it possible for you to implement in the next firmeware version an air plane mode in the night mode of the smart connect app...

Although we had no problem using wifi with our old phones, the Electrify searches, connects and then immediately disconnects. I've spent hours checking out the router software as the admin, checking on line to see if others have reported this and I've tried every combination of options on the Electrify. We're both running Win7 and both use our routers successfully on other wireless devices in our homes.

View 1 Replies View RelatedJust updated two days ago and my Airplane Mode icon will take me to the settings screen where I have to tap on Airplane Mode again which turns it into a two step process and makes the icon pointless. The other thing is that the screen is not dimming like it did in Power Saver mode. I keep my screen about 1/3 because indoors it's all I need and it would drop it about 10% before I updated to 4.3. Now it keeps it at the 1/3 default no matter what. I can't really say whether it's having a dramatic effect on battery life, but it would be nice to get that extra 5% in times of need.

I have a nokia e6 which I brought in jan'12. The issue is that the touchscreen doesn't respond on many occasions. The screen doesn't respond to touch. However the phone is working. I can make calls, access the menu, etc., using the keypad. Whenever this problem occurs, it lasts for about 20 mins and then automatically the screen goes fine, but this happens once every hour or so and now the problem is also very frequent......
