Although the network bar shows full connectivity. My SE Xperia Neo V notification bar says no service due to which I'm not able to make/receive calls. My phone had fallen in water so got it repaired by authorized service center. They changed all the parts but still I'm getting this problem.

Out of the blue my phone is not connetcting to my office wifi. It keeps showing that the network is out of range even when my ipod and all of my colleagues are able to get a clear and strong connection. I had updated my phone to ICS a few days back. Could it be because of this?

View 3 Replies View RelatedIt has very poor signal reception among all phone I've ever used. I can never get full bar for wcdma, even in gsm only, the signal bar could drop to zero. Do not say it's a simcard or network provider problem because I had try everything like put my sim card in other phone, try another simc ard in my phone. I even make a comparison with xperia play and the xplay does not have this problem. Today I'm updating my phone with the latest update from pc companion, it still did not solve the problem..

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have a new installation of Windows 7 on a new computer and am having a difficult time connecting to my phone by either USB or by Bluetooth FTP Service. It appears that I can connect correctly to the Bluetooth Audio Services, but as I cannot get any music onto my phone I am having a hard time testing it.On Bluetooth installation I had two devices that were not installed correctly. Through trial and error I discovered that these two devices are related to the Generic Access Service and the Generic Attributes Service, both of which I have disabled on my Win7 Bluetooth phone properties.
I HAVE installed Motorola Device Manager with no success resolving. In fact, I cannot see where MDM is even accessible on my system: no system tray icon, no start menu link, etc.I'm new to the forum so I'm not sure if my image upload will work correctly, but in essence the phone Operation Panel in Win7 shows the FTP Service as active but clicking the Browse button does nothing. I do get a prompt on my phone initially asking for permision for my computer to access the phone, but then nothing.
I am updating my N900 using Nokia Software Updater. It stops at a certain point (at 6.3MB) and then shows error message of slow connectivity.
Inspite of good connectivity, When I try again it resumes from 6.3MB and immediately throws the error. I tried reinstalling NSU but didn't help.Is there any way to clear cache of NSU?
i am now living in singapore and i need to tell you that i cannot connect to the wifi network although my uncle's nokia n96 can or even my psp. i am using my home wireless network. and sometimes when the wifi is connected the Internet page does not open. but my internet page opens.
View 1 Replies View RelatedEver since getting my sg2, I have always had a problem with the 3g. My phone when it connects proceeds only to upload, showing only the green arrow pointing up. This happens randomly, and it happens across all the different platforms of network connection the sg2 has. The issue is incredibly annoying as my phone can't download data, meaning I cant access the internet. The issue when it happens does seem to correct itself after sometime and with me fiddling around with it, but I am yet to find a permanent solution to fix the problem. My friend recommended I turn of data and turn it back on, which does work but is very hit and miss, and the issue can still very much be present when I turn data back on. The only solution which seems to work 100% of the time is turning the phone off and on again, however this is pointlessly annoying and quite a nuisance.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI got my N900 monday together with a new O2 sim card. It worked fine on monday and tuesday, but since yesterday, the connectivity to the O2 network is down. When I start up the phone, it asks for the PIN; so it seems that the sim card is recognized. But it does not connect to the network! The provider name does not appear next to the status bar, and there is no connectivity indicator on the status bar. Offline mode is disabled, of course.
Text messages cannot be send; when I try to call someone, I get an error (translated from german: "network not available" or similar). The strange thing is that sometimes I can reach the network for very short time. I then get missed test messages, but that's it. The connection lasts for not more than 2-3 minutes, I guess. I tried another sim card, and this one did not work, too. The sim card was placed properly into the slot. Is there anything I can do, or may this be a well-known firmware bug?

View 9 Replies View RelatedUnless I switch over to EDGE.A couple of days ago I had my old 3GS swapped out by Apple because the wireless radio wasn't working properly - I was in San Diego with some family members who all have 3GS's and their phones worked great and mine had no service. When I returned home to Glendale, CA, I had the phone switched out at the local Apple store, only to find that my network connection was now, all of a sudden, spotty at best.
I talked to ATT in one phone call and they told me (although I had to beat it out of them) that there was some tower work going on in my area but with no ETA as to when it might be done. I called back again later that day to try and get a better answer but no dice - just ambiguous nonsense from the guy on the other end.What's the best option here? Just wait it out for a week on EDGE and see if the problem fixes itself?

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy 4s shows that I am connected to wi-fi and have a full signal, however it is not actually connecting to anything; safari, apps, can't send email, can't 'see' phone on my mobile phone tracker etc.
I tried reseting the network connections, which did solve the problem but literally only for a few minutes. So frustrating.
Has anyone got a permanant solution to this problem? All relevant software is bang up to date. The phone itself is brand new, only 1 day old.

just got rounf to updating my iphone 4 to 5.1.1 from 5.0.1. ever since i have experienced a problem with the internet.
the wifi symbol will always show when near the several wifi spot that i visit. but when i try to use emails/safari/Internet/apps(that access the net) it will say no connection or internet. if i turn off the wifi and then turn it back on the emails/safari/Internet etc. will work for a while till i leave the phone for a couple of mins.
when using safari and mail the the circle(next to wifi) cycles around but then shows ("cannot open page...safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding".)
never had a problem before till the update. i have tried reinstalling a fresh copy of ios 5.1.1 while in dfu mode. clearing network settings, setup the iphone as a new iphone(not restoring from back up)

This is a new battery and has the same problem that I was experiencing before purchasing the new battery. If I remove the battery and reboot the system, it will show a full to a 3/4 charge--but only for a minute or two, then it shows that the battery is dead again.

I have been using my iphone 5 since the last 9 months. The wifi just worked fine at home when connecting with the wifi router. It also worked fine everywhere I went where there was a wifi zone. Since the last 7 days or so I am facing a sudden problem. When connecting to my home Wifi, it shows full signal strength, yet the internet connection drops. At times, even whatsapp does not work, cannot send images most of the times. Apple store, iTunes and emails stops working mostly. I have reset my wireless router recenty and still this problem persists. There does not seem to be any problem with the router because other devices like my laptop and other mobile phones are working fine with wifi.

After upgrading to iOS 5.1, my phone shows that my AT&T service is 4G. I am in Tulsa, OK and AT&T has not yet rolled out 4G and even if it had, the iPhone 4s does not support 4G so why is showing up as 4G on the screen?
