This is a new battery and has the same problem that I was experiencing before purchasing the new battery. If I remove the battery and reboot the system, it will show a full to a 3/4 charge--but only for a minute or two, then it shows that the battery is dead again.

Need Help/Suggestion from Mobile Gurus right here .I have 1 Year Old N73 ME and I mainly use it for Calling and Texting. Very Occasionally I use it for Music/Gaming and Browsing the Web.The phone is completely in excellent condition
The problem is that: While charging ONLY the Battery gets too much HOT and it never shows Battery is Full (Charged it for Max 1 Hour 45 Minutes) This problem suddenly appeared, so I formatted the Memory Card as well as Hard Format/Reset the Phone, but still the Battery is heating too much
After disconnecting the Phone from Charger, the Battery is FULL and I can use it without any problem and as usual. The Talktime right now is around 2.5 Hours and Standby time is around 2-3 Days
My iphone 4 has suddenly stopped charging for some reason. I've had no signs of battery problems at all before this.
I've read that some people have managed to fix this problem by doing a hard reset, but my battery was dead before I tried charging it so I can't do this. (when I try I get the connect to power image) I've checked the phone for any signs of lint etc, and cant see anything obvious.
I've tried multiple cables and adapters and the usb slot on my macbook and none of these get any response at all. When I plug into a speaker dock I have got, I get the connect to power supply image on the screen.
The phone is 2 years old (almost to the day) seems they have made it last the exact length of my contract Was wanting to hold off upgrading till the next iphone comes out
Obtained my Droid3 two weeks ago and I'm now finding that it will not charge.Long story short: I did not charge my device for 2 days straight, upon complete epletion of the battery's power I hooked it upto the wall charger and noticed that the screen turned on with the droid symbol and subsequently the charging icon. I left it to charge, and after a while when it was upto 15% I attempted to turn it on by pressing the power button (without holding it down), which caused the screen to go black and ceased the charging.ow whenever I try to charge the device via the wall charger, the white charging LED (between the microUSB and miniHDMI inputs) turns on occasionally and remains there for an hour, after which it goes off again. When I try to charge via the computer the same thing happens, except after 45min or so of charging, the device repeatedly connects and disconnects from the computer USB (the usb connection and disconnection sounds ping repeatedly until I unplug the device). This also happens when I try and turn on the device while charging via USB.
Normally after 45min of charging from the computer the device will turn on, with the Droid logo appearing and system activated. Now it will not turn on at all.I have tried removing the battery from the device for at least a min and then recharging, I've also tried removing and re-inserting the battery while the Droid3 is connected to the charger to no avail. To replicate the situation, I've left the battery without charging for a period of 48 hours, and then tried to charge it again via wall charger; same problem: the white LED turned on for about an hour and then went out. The device did not turn on this time. My suspiscions are on the battery..The phone is a great piece of hardware and I've grown to love it, yet I had honestly no idea it would be susceptible to such trivial conditions 3 weeks out of the box. I've ordered an extended battery just in case
I have a strange problem with my 9810. Yesterday I pulled out my phone from charging at 7:AM (100%). I put it on GPRS , because i didn't did any browsing on that day and to see how much my battery will last. So after a few phones, sms, emails, I was down to 80% by 10PM. Was very happy with what I saw. In background were running Accuweather and Facebook with update once every 3 hours. Also I have Battery Bost MAX, and an application which shows me battery icon with procentage.(Smart Blndie). I am in an area with good signal. Put the phone in the holster, and went to bed. I was very courios to see what the battery shows. At 6 AM i was shocked : 42%... I can't blame it on the applications, because if there were their fault, my battery should discharge the same over day... GPS is off, wifi is off. The phone has 2 weeks (almost new). I am runing 7.1.0.658 OS.. My screen is at 10%, and turn off over 20 seconds...

View 14 Replies View RelatedMy blackberry torch seems to be a bit faulty in some way at the min , I've recently purchased several batteries for the phone, all of which working perfectly when I leave the shop, when home I charge them up to full and use it as normal no problems. I continue to use the phone until it completely runs out of charge but when it comes to charging it again it shows a battery with a Red Cross through it and after reading other comments of just leaving it to charge I did that but nothing happened so went back to the shop they tested the battery only to find it completely unuseable and me having to buy a new one.

The battery low sign now comes on after 3hrs and the phone then powers off.I have replaced the battery for a new unit and tried using a friends battery but it still powers off after 3hrs when its been on charge overnight. The only way I can keep it on is by leaving on the charger.

Had my M8 for 2 weeks now and at first the battery was terrible as I could barely get 12 hours out of the phone. After a hard reset, its now up to 30-35 hours with about 6-7 hours screen time. First of all, is this normal or is this still lacking? The most I got was 50 hours with 3 hours screen time and about 15% left on the battery before charging. I don't use the power saver feature on the phone.
Secondly, I have noticed that when I charge my phone to full, between 100% and 88%, the battery drains extremely quickly. It takes a third less time to drop a percent than below 88%. After that point the battery drain seems to be normal and fairly slow.
Just about a week ago, I started getting notifications when the phone is plugged in and the battery is fully charged. How do I stop this? I looked through the sound & notification setting and can't find it.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI upgraded to iOS 5.1.1 last week this has been the only changes on my iPhone 4 other then normal app updates. Last light I pluged in my device for charge as is normal. Today I woke up and the device indicated that it didn't charge and is showing that I have about 35% of the charge remanding. Pluged in the device to another charger / cord and while the battery charging icon shows that it was charging but after 2hrs I still only had 35%.

Recently swapped from Android to the Lumia 920 so i know little or nothing about the OS.Issue: Phone battery dies over night, in the morning when i plug it into charge for 15-20 mins the phone does not turn on/ shows no battery indicator/ no signs of life.So i have to resort to doing a softreset everymorning in order for the phone to turn on. Originally i thought this was a faulty handset. However this is less than a week into our new toys, and I know we're all playing hard. So, just for the curious, and to make sure none of us got shorted, how bout a study? If you'd like, post your numbers, however to be more exact, lets go by the usage number under Settings>General>Usage.If you will, post both Usage and Standby stats since the last full charge when you get down to 20%. Try to be as exact as possible.
So on my iPhone 4 going from 100% to 20% I've got...
Usage 5 hours 4 minutes
Standby 16 hours 8 minutes
Total 21 hours 12 minutes
I have just got my Lumia 800 and seems pretty fancy. But still one thing which really bothers me a lot. The battery life! I have update to WP7.5 on day 1. System information as below:

The thing is, I unplugged the charger at 9 in the morning and when it came to around 9 in the night. The battery is critical low. I just made few calls, text and no more than 10 mins twitter stuff and the battery is done? My iphone could even stand for 1 day with this usage. I tried everything, reset the fone. But seems not working.
I notice that when I do a full charge from a low battery once it hits 100% if I unplug the charger after i get 1% drain every 10 minutes in standby so I do a cache clean and reboot then it discharges normally after.
When I leave the phone plugged in lets say all night and it trickle charges for a few hours after being at 100% it will only discharge around 1% every hour on standby. Is there anything wrong?
I plugged my Torch in overnight to charge. When I woke up in the morning, the phone would not turn on so I took the battery out a few times and tried to reset it. When I plugged it into the charger and tried to turn it on, I got the battery symbol with a red X through it.

I charged my Bold 9930 all night and now it won't boot up or reboot. I tried a battery pull to no avail. I can't see my BB so I can't give screenshots or too much more info but I will try and answer any questions to the best of my ability.
My blackberry torch died last night so I plugged it in all day today I have pulled battery out while still plugged in off and on all day and still not getting it to charge properly. It shows a battery with an x thru the it in the middle of the screen on the display.

my I phone 5 has developed a problem in crashing during the night when it's on charge. It 1st happened Saturday night and my alarm didn't go off so was late for work. The only way I could power up the phone was to hold the power button with the menu and reboot and reset the phone. The phone switched on and was 100% charged so it's charging ok then crashing by the look of it. The phone was ok all of Saturday no problem at all so thought it might of just been a little glitch. On Saturday night I woke up during the night checked my phone to see what time it was and yes the phone was blank again and wouldn't power on as normal so had to do the reset method to power it up again. It was 100% charged so disconnected the charger and the phone stayed on for the rest of the night and alarm went off as normal. I decided to back it up and did a full factory reset on the phone through iTunes. Last night during the night the phone had done exactly the same. I did use the back up to restore the phone back to normal after the factory reset.

I bought a brand new battery, and left it to charge overnight, when I woke up, the battery icon was still red with a plug logo on it (which insures me that it's charging) I thought the battery was messed up, so I returned it and took another one, but again, it's been in the charger for 2 hours straight now, and the battery icon is still red with the plug icon on it.
