im having a problem with my wi-fi and bluetooth. they will not connect at all. i do have full 3G network and full carrier service. but my bluetooth will not work, and my wi-fi will not work.

I am using Bold 9780 and just last week my lcd broke, after replacing the lcd am having this error due to which my phone accepts the sim but is'nt able to connect to the service provider, inturn after 'Searching Network' for a while it shows 'No Service'. On the other hand the wifi is'nt showing any routers nor the bluetooth even though i have kept it on 'Discoverable' . the wifi symbol will always show when near the several wifi spot that i visit. but when i try to use emails/safari/Internet/apps(that access the net) it will say no connection or internet. if i turn off the wifi and then turn it back on the emails/safari/Internet etc. will work for a while till i leave the phone for a couple of mins.
when using safari and mail the the circle(next to wifi) cycles around but then shows ("cannot open page...safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding".)
never had a problem before till the update. i have tried reinstalling a fresh copy of ios 5.1.1 while in dfu mode. clearing network settings, setup the iphone as a new iphone(not restoring from back up)

I set up the time capsule today and connected my MBP and a windows laptop to it. The iphone 4s connected smoothly to the time capsule and see full wifi strength on the phone. The internet connection on the phone is however very patchy. I get the connection for about 1sec and then drops off for the next few seconds. I have checked the connection using speed test. The internet connection is however working fine on the MBR and the windows laptop.

I wiped my iphone 4 clean and did a install from last iCloud backup. The night before last around midnight. It's halfway restored on a 13gb backup. 30+ hours later. It's been on wifi the entire time except one hour last night when I ran to then store. I'm keeping it plugged in to the power outlet too. I've seen it take a while to restore before for approx 1 FB less. It's never been this long. WTHeck is going on? Can I push this process along at all? I tried to delete some apps that are waiting to be redownloaded...and 1 minute later
They were back on the screen... So that's not helpful.
what I can do about this... It's been downloaded my snapfish app for many many hours (they all took a long time..) this one is taking soooo long

my iPhone (iOS 4.1) has been running sluggishly, freezing for a couple of seconds after trying to press the home button (from locked), to random freezes on the dashboard etc., most of the time after a couple of seconds it unfroze. The phone was dropped several times (always had a sturdy cover) but always worked fine. About 2 weeks ago it started to get worse, phone kept randomly restarting, loosing service and wifi and then reconnecting again. I scoured the internet for possible clues and in the end ordered a new battery which I installed successfully. Also reset the device as new and installed the latest iOS 6.1.6?. No problem with freezing/being sluggish anymore but the service/reception and wifi keep dropping. Sometimes it is random. Sometimes it happens right after I slide to unlock the phone. The connection can hold from several minutes to an hour or so before dropping to a bar and then no service (wifi disappears as well), after a while it comes back on. I have asked for another replacement battery (in-case this one was faulty) and will see where that will get me. (also when it is charging now it has the occasional random restart, not very often but sometimes)

I have been using my iphone 5 since the last 9 months. The wifi just worked fine at home when connecting with the wifi router. It also worked fine everywhere I went where there was a wifi zone. Since the last 7 days or so I am facing a sudden problem. When connecting to my home Wifi, it shows full signal strength, yet the internet connection drops. At times, even whatsapp does not work, cannot send images most of the times. Apple store, iTunes and emails stops working mostly. I have reset my wireless router recenty and still this problem persists. There does not seem to be any problem with the router because other devices like my laptop and other mobile phones are working fine with wifi.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSometimes - not always - when I connect my phone to any Bluetooth audio device the Bluetooth volume (by design I believe) drops to half volume. When I hit the Volume Up button the bar will move up in a weird, sporatic way and never actually get louder, however it will eventually show full volume. Sometimes when I hit the Volume Down button it'll shoot all the way back down to half volume with one button press and I can then press Volume Up again to actually turn up the sound. Most other times it will shoot down to the bottom and never change volume until it's completely muted - so it'll jump from 50% volume to silent right at the end.
It doesn't happen every time - just about once every 10 or so times. This has happened to me with two different RAZR Maxx phones and I've seen my roommates RAZR do the same thing on a couple different Bluetooth devices.
I'm hoping the ICS update will fix it but the bug made it through the last OTA update.
Can I find an IPhone that is no longer connected to a phone service, but which is still connected to our WiFi network?

View 1 Replies View RelatedFor the last several weeks neither the WiFi nor the Bluetooth will turn on. When selecting to turn on WiFi is starts to turn on then stops and displays Error. About 75% of the time after attempting to turn on the WiFi the phone will reboot. I have factory reset the phone and the WiFi and Bluetooth will work once after the reset but once the phone sleeps neither WiFi nor Bluetooth will operate. This is even after a power down. I have checked my settings and can't find anything that would cause this.

I have a new installation of Windows 7 on a new computer and am having a difficult time connecting to my phone by either USB or by Bluetooth FTP Service. It appears that I can connect correctly to the Bluetooth Audio Services, but as I cannot get any music onto my phone I am having a hard time testing it.On Bluetooth installation I had two devices that were not installed correctly. I HAVE installed Motorola Device Manager with no success resolving. In fact, I cannot see where MDM is even accessible on my system: no system tray icon, no start menu link, etc.I'm new to the forum so I'm not sure if my image upload will work correctly, but in essence the phone Operation Panel in Win7 shows the FTP Service as active but clicking the Browse button does nothing.
