Whenever i try to transfer data to my mobile via bluetooth from any device it says memory full delete some data first.i've tried restore factory settings but the problem doesnt seem to go.

i am using nokia x6 00. When ever i try to open any application i get error. Memory full. Close some applications and try again. I have given my phone many times to to nokia care to get the software re installed. But no use. I do not have any ohter application installed other than maps and watsapp

The problem is, I formatted my handset a month ago but now when I check the Memories, it says Phone Memory 1.3 MB Free (Almost Full) while my Memory card's memory is doing good. how to tackle with this situation? Because when I connect my phone to PC and check the Phone Memory, I only find files sizing 89 kb.

because i heard that it will sync everything to same, so my WinXP will also have my Win7 email while Win7 has all the mp3 and movies. This I must avoid.So is iTune doing all the jobs necessary?
I was wondering that if I get new iPhone this week, will I be able to use the back ups from my old one and will it load up texts etc. on my new iPhone too?I really don't want to lose my texts. Is there a way to transfer?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a new 5530 and a headset BH208.What happend was when I connect my phone the the headset it seemed working fine, but after talking for like about 30 min or so the phone got disconnected from the headset and started to freeze, I can do nothing but restart the phone. I tried unauthorizing the connection but the problem still unsolved. I had an E71 b4 and I was using the same headset without any problem, so I think there might be some issue with the bluethooth in 5530...pretty disappointed...this might be the last nokia for me..

I have a problem with the headphone jack thinking there are headphones in it when they are not sometimes.I was wondering what I need to do leading up to and once I get my replacement? I have used the Desktop Manager Backup program to backup my files. That should take care of my calender, memo, contacts, SMS and any files and stuff on my device....but what about apps. That is what I'm unsure about. How well do those transfer since they have licenses/registration codes?I have bought DynoStorm, Fingerprint Scanner, PatternLock, WeatherBug Elite from App World. From what I have read all I need to do is start App World on my new device and those apps will load on the new device from App World without a problem? Is this true?I have bought BerryBuzz, Call Blocker Pro, Meter Berry, Mileage Meter, QuickLaunch and SmrtGuard(1 Year Subscription) from MobiHand. From what it looks like I can use the Change Device ID and it will generate new codes for me on my new device? Is this all I have to do? Can anybody verify this or tell me what I do need to do for these apps?I have other free apps but those I can just download again.The last thing I'm curious how it will transfer or if it will be a problem is my one theme I have bough Halycon from Elecite. How do I get that loaded onto my new device?If there is anything I'm forgetting to do with backups or apps or anything else I should do before or when I have the replacement let me know. We both have the same problem with our headset we bought (the mrhandsfree Blue twin).we can pair them and this is no problem, we authorise it and again, no problem. It connects with the headset. After a few seconds, the connection is lost without a reason. We can connect it again by pushing the button on the headset, but this starts the voice dial. I want to be able to use voice dial, but only when i want it (normally, it is when you push the heatsetbutton a few seconds).The only way to remain connected with the headset is to play music, it plays through the headset and the connection stays on.When the headset is off and i put it on, the phone can see the headset and connects. It disconnects again after a few seconds.
When we get called, we can't accept the phonecall. the phone just rings, if we push the button on the headset, it connects with the headset and the sound goes perfectly through the headset. If i push the button to pick up, it disconnects the call.Why can't i stay connected with my phone and headset?
When I try to enable bluetooth on my 5530 XP phone (in Menu > Settings and Connectivity > Bluetooth), I get the error message "Unable to perform Bluetooth operation". Anyone else experienced this? I entered *#2820# and the phone says: "Buetooth device address c8979fd7f684". I think this means that the hardware is still ok and the aforementioned problem is probably due to some software issue, is that right?The phone is currently on firmware 20.0.080 and I am unable to update it to the current version (see another forum topic for that). The phone was purchased in central asia.Any help would be greatly appreciated. With the free Ovi Maps, I'd really like to pair my phone with a gps mouse and take full advantage of that. Great phone, but there's a problem with Nokia Messaging (or Nokia Email, I don't know - see screen below).I've already set it up with her Gmail account, but when she tries to check her emails, instead of this nice screen, it takes shows the phone's Messaging folder, where there's no HTML for emails (and, I think, no push mail support).Besides, both the "Email" and the "Email setup" icons lead to the same place (setting up a new account). In my 5800, it shows the screen above, which has a much better interface.
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy 5530 is no longer alerting me that i have a message, there is no sound, no pop up message and no symbol at the top of the phone, the only was of knowing i have a message is to go in to the messge menu and look for the start next to the inbox. The rest of the phone is find, alerts me normally when recieving calls.
I have tried restoring to factory setting, hard reset and reinstalling but nothing seams to work.
I've had the 5530 Xpress Music phone since the end of November 09 and It's already been back for a repair, phone is fine now.Since I've had the phone, I have never been able to access the internet from it, everytime I try I get this message which say's Packet Data not found. I have tried going into setting's and at the moment mine is set to:- Packet Date Connection is:- When needed and Access Point is:- None No mater what I set is on, I still can't access the internet.
View 5 Replies View RelatedThe 5800 and 5530 don't dispaly the name of the sender when a text message is received, right, Well so I thought. and I wasn't too happy about it as all my previous phones had this facility. Then a few days ago I got a message on my 5530 and when I looked at the screen there waa white star overlaying the image of the sender on my contacts bar. Great, I thought, I'd never noticed that before! But how could this be? I haven't had a firmware upgrade or anything. Since then I've found that I occasionally get the star on messages from this one contact, but not on messages from any of my other contacts.What's going on? I've searched the web and can find no references to this at all.Have any other users noticed this feature? And can anyone explain why it doen't work for all contacts?
View 9 Replies View RelatedSo I had an older Curve, and now I have a brand new Curve 3g. The older phone has malfunctioned, and I can't use the keypad, but it still recongizes the software when plugged in, and i can charge it - this is why the data couldn't be transfered from my old phone to the new one at the Verizon store. So, I want all the contacts, my to-do lists/memopads, etc transfered into the new phone using Blackberry Manager on my PC (Vista). So i selected the 'Device Transfer Wizard" from the main menu, and followed instructions - i get an error message that tells me, basically, I "need to remove some applications from my existing device because there is not enough space on the new device to accomodate them:" I don't get this - the new phone has 256mb memory compared to 32mb in the old phone, and I don't even have apps on there except facebook (I tried to delete my apps on the old phone and all it showed me as having was Facebook.So, I tried un-checking various boxes on the screen that asks what i want to transfer, and even with them all un-checked it still tells me there is not enough room to transfer.Am I doing this wrong? i just want my contacts and to-do lists transfered to the new phone - I don't know what this thing about the "applications" and such is about but I just want my data transfered.I will say that the Blackberry Manager application that I have is very slow, non-intuitive, and generally a huge pain in the **bleep** to work with - I would think that a slick tech company like Blackberry would have a far better program than this "Blackberry Manager".. I am impressed with the Blackberry phones but dread using that Blackberry Manager every time I need to (such as when putting anew ringtone on my phone).

I did try (twice) to e-mail Nokia care - each time I filled in all details only to get a Gateway timeout message when I tried to send it - and all details wiped out!
AI have a router, I have a nokia usb cable. and I have ovi suite. However it wont transfer music files unless I have a memory card inserted, I dont know what to do. I installed ovi files and transfered my custom ringtone that way and it worked but I'm looking for something simpler. Like actually navigating the phones folders and transfering it that way, be it any file, txt doc img, jpg mp3 mp4 ect. I tried using connect as "mass storage device" and connect as "media transfer" neither option works for me. I am running windows 7 professional 64 bit. The only way I was able to get my custom ringtone on the phone was installing and signing up for ovi files. I would like to use my usb cable or router exclusively in the future.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm getting Memory Full on my 5800, when there are 24 MB free on the phone memory.Also, there seems to be 43MB of Other Files, that I can't find anywhere when I browse the phone, so can't get rid of them.
When I tap Applications, sometimes it opens, sometimes I get Memory Fill, please close some applications (or something similar to that message).I can't open Installed Apps to try to remove any.
When I remove the Memory card and try to uninstall apps, of course its only the apps that are in the phone memory, so I can't remove anything that is on the memory card.
I've removed all that I can fromthe phone memory, but can't get rid of the 43MB of other files.
Also, I can't change to the Home Screen Theme to the Shortcuts bar, as it doesn't work. I've updated the software to V31.0.101 and it didn't help. This was prior to the error mentioned above with the Memory being full.
I have 1900 messages in my N79 inbox of memory card & nearby 999 messages in sent of memory card. Free space in Memory card is still 2 GB.Now the problem is that whenever I open any message of inbox & tries to delete it. Error comes up showing that "Text Message: Memory Full, close some applications & try again." However if I don't open the message & simply try to delete a message in inbox no error comes & also the messages gets deleted.So, please help me in this issue.

Following on from my post "Nokia N97 is this the worst phone they have ever made?" I have discovered yet another problem with my USELESS N97. I have always set it to save my message in the Mass Memory but why, and I really don't know, now I get error messages saying the memory is full and when I check the damned thing has reverted back to the default setting of saving them on the phone memory.I HATE THIS BLOODY PHONE !
If anyone has any ideas other than throwing under the wheels of a lorry let me know, I'd be very grateful. Nokia have said that because this is a different problem to the one its being returned for repair AGAIN it can't be done at the same time.Am I missing something here or what? I have literally taken my brand new C6 handset out of its box a couple of hours ago, and the message icon was blinking although there are no messages at all in the phone.I have tried a factory reset and updating the phone software, but to no avail. The message icon is still blinking.This is now the second Nokia handset I have had with software problems (previous handset 5800 XM). After 10 years of only using Nokia handsets, I am going off them rapidly!

View 4 Replies View RelatedSo i was out earlier in the snow, and to my annoyance, it kept beeping saying 'memory full' and then i just click ok. And there obviously wasn't much memory since when people called me it played the default tune which is a sign that it is low on memory.However i look at the phone memory 35mb free.Look at the open applications, and apart from the contacts there was nothing else, but i closed the contacts never the less.However it still kept saying this.However it has seemed to stop now and be fine but never the less i would still like to know if there is any reason that i haven't thought of, of why it might have been saying this?

First of all i was sending a message and the screen randomly went black and red lines came across the screen for a few seconds then it went back to my message .. Then I was charging it Good Friday and took it out to make a call and the screen went white as if I was turning the phone on as nokia came across the screen please help why is it doing this?
View 10 Replies View RelatedBelow is a relisting of a current problem I have not managed to fix.I have the latest firmware installed on my N97, but after the latest upgrade (clean install was done, mass mem refromatted, hard reset, etc') On checking over the phone I started getting messages that the Mass mem' was full (Not so) I eventually traced it to my 8 gig mem' card, (is coming up with the message that the memory card is corrupt, I have now tried 3 different mem' cards) cos after this was removed the phone worked perfectly again, I tried reformatting the card via the pc , same problem when the card was put back in, tried a brand new card , same problem, lastly tried a known working 4 gig mem' card, same problem?
