I tried a search with no luck.On the device or in desktop manager, how can I view the all the folders on the tour? I can't figure out how (probably a stupid question).Also, i created a sheet to go file on the tour and want to transfer it to my computer. I see no options in desktop manager how to do it. I am using a trial preium version of sheets to go on the bb.

View 14 Replies View RelatedI upgraded my Tour (Verizon) last week to OS 5.0. Since the upgrade I have been unable to view HTML emails. The body of the email provides the text/link to the images along with a lot of text I do not understand. I don't even get the links to "get image" or "view image on a web page". I made sure the settings were correct (i.e. enable HTML email, download images automatically) and the issue persisted. Battery pull did not work, deleting and resending service books did not work. Through searches on this forum and others it appears that this is not an isolated problem.Is there a fix that I am not aware of? I am close to wiping the phone clean and going back to OS 4.7, but I like all other features that came with 5.0.
View 7 Replies View RelatedTried to take a screenshot but I can't get Quicklaunch to open in Picture Folders.I was using Media Sync to take some selected pictures off my Tour and put them on my PC. I noticed when I was done all contents of my Picture Folders were on my PC. So I reversed the process with Media Sync to get my Wallpaper images back on the Tour. I specifically ticked off only the images I wanted to transfer back to Tour. Long story short every freakin' picture I had taken off the Tour transferred back (which I didn't want), along with Wallpaper (which I did want). Also pics were duplicated. First set went into designated folders they came from, duplicate pics were just sitting there not in a designated folder.(I deleted the dups). But I don't know how/why "user" or "Music" landed in Picture Folders and I'm not sure if it's safe to remove?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI've researched my problem on other posts, and still not completely sure if my problem is unique or not.I have an unlocked Sprint 9630 I grabbed from our IT department before a trip to Turkey. It was supposedly deactivated - turns out it is still active on a Sprint number.
I've replaced the Sprint SIM with an Avea Turkish prepaid SIM that has data and Blackberry capability. It works fine for phone and text, but no ability to register the email with Avea Blackberry. Tech support there unable to determine the problem (unable to connect to server is the error message, both with phone and online).If I can deactive the Sprint number will that help? Or am I just out of luck.
My tour likes to just stop working every once in a while. Case in point: on long drives through the country, i'll be listening to pandora for 4 hours straight then all of a sudden it will stop loading. then i'll notice that teh web browser wont load websites, ubertwitter wont load, facebook wont load, etc etc. The only thing that makes everything work again is to do a battery pull but of course this gets old.Anyone know what the problem is here or anything? I feel like maybe i'm using "too much data at one time" but in all honestly I dont think that's right.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am having a problem opening attachments in my emails. They are usually jpg or png files, which I have never had an issue opening before. I choose "open attachment" from the menu, and the little red clock that appears next to the file just stays there. If i click the trackball, i get a prompt to resend the request, but clicking "yes" doesn't do anything. I recently upgraded to leaked OS .662, but I'm not convinced that is the problem because a coworker has OS 4.7.1.40 (original OS) and he is also experiencing the same problem.

Do the tunes, voices, sounds, whatever actually exist in some fashion on your Tour? Or are they really coming from no where on your bb? What I'm trying to figure out, is a number of these "appended" sound files sound obscene or raunchy. So might it be some actual contamination of the OS or are these SOUNDS from things on folks BB's? Yes, I'm sure some folks have "cute" sound files or were sent such files but maybe it is more than that. Maybe the OS really was inappropriately tweaked.
View 14 Replies View RelatedAI have a router, I have a nokia usb cable. and I have ovi suite. However it wont transfer music files unless I have a memory card inserted, I dont know what to do. I installed ovi files and transfered my custom ringtone that way and it worked but I'm looking for something simpler. Like actually navigating the phones folders and transfering it that way, be it any file, txt doc img, jpg mp3 mp4 ect. I tried using connect as "mass storage device" and connect as "media transfer" neither option works for me. I am running windows 7 professional 64 bit. The only way I was able to get my custom ringtone on the phone was installing and signing up for ovi files. I would like to use my usb cable or router exclusively in the future.

I just upgraded to 5.0.0.419 on the Tour. I had to use the AppLoader because the desktop manager wouldnt work. I have done this many times with my storm and everything seemed to go well. I turned on my phone and it started like usual but all my information is gone. My contacts, messages, applications, everything. It did not back up any of the stuff before upgrading, but when i went to put an old back up on my device it asked if I wanted to override all the stuff that's already on it (1100 text messages, 100 contacts, 500 emails, etc.)So it seems like the stuff is on my phone, but i cannot find it.

I can access the device from Desktop Manager, and I can run exe.Autoloader/factoryreset from the Windows command prompt.
However, this does not remove the Verizon phone number from the device. Verizon won't work with the phone because the screen is cracked.
What's the correct way to wipe the Verizon data from the command prompt?

I have a problem with the headphone jack thinking there are headphones in it when they are not sometimes.I was wondering what I need to do leading up to and once I get my replacement? I have used the Desktop Manager Backup program to backup my files. That should take care of my calender, memo, contacts, SMS and any files and stuff on my device....but what about apps. That is what I'm unsure about. How well do those transfer since they have licenses/registration codes?I have bought DynoStorm, Fingerprint Scanner, PatternLock, WeatherBug Elite from App World. From what I have read all I need to do is start App World on my new device and those apps will load on the new device from App World without a problem? From what it looks like I can use the Change Device ID and it will generate new codes for me on my new device? Is this all I have to do? I changed the housing in my Tour to make it white but the trackball doesn't sit right and i have a problem scrolling down. I can't seem to get the trackball to sit properely in this housing its just not centered. If i can put a curve trackball in, which model curve do i use?

The older phone has malfunctioned, and I can't use the keypad, but it still recongizes the software when plugged in, and i can charge it - this is why the data couldn't be transfered from my old phone to the new one at the Verizon store. So, I want all the contacts, my to-do lists/memopads, etc transfered into the new phone using Blackberry Manager on my PC (Vista). So i selected the 'Device Transfer Wizard" from the main menu, and followed instructions - i get an error message that tells me, basically, I "need to remove some applications from my existing device because there is not enough space on the new device to accomodate them:" I don't get this - the new phone has 256mb memory compared to 32mb in the old phone, and I don't even have apps on there except facebook (I tried to delete my apps on the old phone and all it showed me as having was Facebook.So, I tried un-checking various boxes on the screen that asks what i want to transfer, and even with them all un-checked it still tells me there is not enough room to transfer.Am I doing this wrong? i just want my contacts and to-do lists transfered to the new phone - I don't know what this thing about the "applications" and such is about but I just want my data transfered.I will say that the Blackberry Manager application that I have is very slow, non-intuitive, and generally a huge pain in the **bleep** to work with - I would think that a slick tech company like Blackberry would have a far better program than this "Blackberry Manager".. I am impressed with the Blackberry phones but dread using that Blackberry Manager every time I need to (such as when putting anew ringtone on my phone).

I won't receive emails on it for quite a while, but once I open my Internet browser, all of the emails I received since the last time I opened it will come through at once. If I check my messages, they're all listed as coming through at the same time, but inside the email, they're datestamped at the actual time they were sent.
Any ideas as to what it could be? I haven't changed any settings recently, the problem started independent of anything else, from what I can tell. It seems like a problem with my phone not checking for new emails until it uses data services (internet browser).
I was almost certain I came across a screen with separate apps for viewing word processing and spreadsheet files, among others. But now I can't seem to find it. I'd like to carry around a spreadsheet I have at home (Excel) if I wasn't imagining things.
"Show all" in the menu doesn't give me any relief.
