Nokia :: E71 Hands Free Via Bluetooth - Message - Unable To Create Bluetooth Connection
Jan 27, 2010
My E71 used to work fine in car hands free via bluetooth - now it pairs OK but then gives "unable to create bluetooth connection" message. Another E71 works fine.
I did try (twice) to e-mail Nokia care - each time I filled in all details only to get a Gateway timeout message when I tried to send it - and all details wiped out!
I am using my xperia Z3 to connect with my helmet using the bluetooth connection.
At the begining, when I bought the xperia Z3, when pressing the helmet button to make a request to the phone, the "google lady" was asking about if I want to make a call or anything, it worked out, it was working as expected, but since the phone requested me to make some updates in the apps (also the google app), the google thing does not work anymore. It works the music, it works the google maps and navigation but If I want to "talk to the phone" the google lady says (in spanish "espera") "wait", a grey screen appears with the word "initializing" and actually does nothing. In a nutshell, the google thing does not work using blueetooth anymore. Then I have to stop to drive and manually make the call which is not ideal when you are travelling...
The radio/navigation system in my Elantra failed and was replaced. Upon trying to synch the Bold to the replacement, they appear to successfully connect but the contacts do not upload and when I take or receive a call, an Application.exe error message comes up on the Elantra screen. The service manager successfully synched an iPhone to the same system with no problems. The original radio worked fine with the Bold, so this is very frustrating. Because the iPhone worked OK, the service manager is inclined to say it's not the car system, it's the Blackberry -- maybe the upgraded OS software. The Bluetooth works fine with the Jawbone earpiece, which I've been using in the car while waiting for the new radio/Nav/handsfree system.
Have just got my new X6 and its great except that i am having problems with my connection to my bluetooth car kit. It connects fine and has paired with it but it seems to disconnecting every 25 seconds or so and then reconnecting 25 seconds later. Its driving me bananas cos each time it does it the radio cuts out. If i am on a call it seems to keep connection. I fell i may have missed a setting somewhere but cant find anything about this.
After latest update that brought us pinch-zoom I've got issue with using the phone with my in-car Bluetooth handsfree. It happens during call - it all works great up to some point when BT connection seems to "hang" so both phone and car BT thinks in's still active while it's not. After I move the call to the phone and finish conversation, BT in the phone gets turned off and it never turns on again until I reboot the phone. This is pretty annoying as I spend 2+ hrs daily in the car and I live in Ontario, Canada which has a law against using cellphones during driving except with handsfree.
Currently got a Lumia 800, which doesn't work with the bluetooth in my car. I'm looking at updating the stereo in the car with something that is compatible. Will the 820/920 need to have the same requirements to be met for bluetooth to work? (bluetooth v2.1 with EDR, HSP, HFP & PBAP)
i have an n8 which i am trying to use with a hid compliant bluetooth keyboard. i can pair the device without problem but when i try to connect, my phone keeps saying that it is unable to create the connection. i have seen some Internet videos that have shown a bluetooth keyboard working with the n8. i am using a keysonic ack-595bt keyboard.
I have pair my new E71 to my bluetooth hands free kit in my Mitsubishi Outlander and it receives calls fine. However, I can't use the cars bluetooth functions to dial out and I have to use the phone to start the call and then it links into the hands free kit. The car allows me to dial numbers on voice operation but it seems to fail to link to the phone to make the call.
I have a problem with c6 and bh-105. How to get call directly to Bluetooth hands-free? User manual says "press answer on headset and hold 2 seconds". I did it, but when call is ended, new call goes to phone again, not to headset When I am calling someone, there is similar situation. I must hold answer key for 2 secs to get call to bluetooth...How to set up this to send a call directly to bluetooth by default ?
I've just updated my C1-02 to software V06.15. Alas, the max volume for handsfree calls via Bluetooth is still far too low. It's unusable in a moving car. This problem already existed half a year ago in the previous two software versions. Also, the address book isn't transferred correctly. I use a TomTom Via 125 nav for handsfree calls, but Parrot users have reported the same problems with the C1-02.
My Imagio won't pair with the factory hands-free Bluetooth in my 2010 Nissan Frontier. Everything goes fine until I enter the requested PIN, at which point the Frontier tells me "invalid PIN". I'm entering the correct sequence. The phone pairs ok with our 2007 Nissan Altima, and paired mostly-ok with my prior 2007 Nissan Sentra, other than the annoying but tolerable delayed hang-up problem that has been documented by others. Our LG phones pair fine with the Frontier.HTC tells me it is a Nissan problem. I was able to talk with a Nissan Bluetooth specialist who told me my phone has not yet been tested for compatibility (nor had the LG's that pair ok) and "probably is not compatible". Finger pointing both ways.
The phone pairs ok with the Altima and other hands-free devices.I think it is related to the Imagio Bluetooth stack implementation coupled with a not-totally-compliant Nissan interface. I suspect that the phone is sending the PIN in some sort of data stream that confuses the Frontier receiver.Does anyone have any suggestions for diagnosing this or making it work? Is there some sort of packet/frame monitor for Bluetooth available that would let me view the data packets being exchanged?
I have a Torch 9860 that has problems with my new 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe. I can pair it with the bluetooth in the car, and it will sometimes keep the connection on the next trip, but usually I get a 'connection failed' message. If I revert to the previous OS version, the problem goes away. I had to have the phone replaced recently, though, and the problem is back. It works great with a Jabra earpiece, but not with the car. I could do the same downgrade, but I would prefer not to.
I want to buy a bluetooth handsfree kit for my Iphone 3 gs. How can I check the specifications needed Blue tooth V2.1 EDR Operating frquency band : 2.4GHz- 2.48GHz unlicensed ISM needed. Will my iphone work with bluetooth?
I have tried to connect my Blackberry Torch to my hands-free device in my car through bluetooth but it not possible. It seems to connect for a couple of minutes (even starts to syncronize the agenda) but suddenly it appears a message sayint the conexion has been lost.I have tried several things (make the blackberry listen to the device car, delete all the contacts in my agenda, ...).I am able to connect my blackberry to other bluetooth devices and I am able to connect my car dvices to other phones, but I can't connect both together. I ahve talked to the Volvo dealer and they told me there is a compatibility issue when using a SIM dual card?
I have a SG11 + hands free bluetooth wotsit that I attach to my sun screen visor in the car - works well for call - no probs. My car doesn't have bluetooth so cannot link to my CD player - but can I play music through the handsfree easily? The other sounds such as driving mode comes through the handsfree ok. What settings do I need to twiddle with to play music through it? I have samsung car dock and would like to play music via bluetooth hands free from phone? Make-a-da-sense?
I own a two DroidX's and for the last 3 months I have been experiencing an issue with my hands free in car bluetooth(infiniti G37). This all started right after I updated to 2.3.3 Gingerbread. The GB update killed the bluetooth on my car. Apparently it has been happening to many Nissan owners. I never had an issue with FROYO why am I having an issue with GB?
Issue:
I pair the phone with my car. it pairs properly. the car picks up the phone and the phone picks up the car. The bluetooth connnects with no issues. While connected, I recieve a call the phone rings (sound comes out of the handset not the car speakers its supposed to ring through the speakers), the radio stops playing and the screen reads incoming call, but when I picking no audio comes out of the speakers. The phone says its connected, the car says its connected, but no audio is coming out of the speakers, audio is coming out of the handset only. It happened to both DRoidX's after the GB update.
Here's what I've done:
Contacted VZ wireless- they werent aware of the issue but plan to come up with a fix(that was three months ago and no fix available)
Reset the phone and it stays with 2.3.3 and still doesnt fix the issue. Tried a regular head set bluetooth(Jabra) and it works with the phone.I tried my wife's phone (Droid X with 2.2.2 Froyo), it worked on the car until recently(first week of Oct 2011) when the GB update was pushed.
I contacted Motorola and one rep says they have noted the issue and its being worked, another guy said he hasnt heard of the issue and that its probably my car, the third rep told me they are working the issue and to take my car to the dealer and have the security settings unlocked. I took my car to the infiniti dealer, they looked it over and said no issues with the car, the phone is the culprit.
Just got my SGs2 last week and this is my first post I paired it with the bluetooth hands-free in my car but when I hooked up my in-car charger the blue-tooth connection switched off.Given the poor battery life I need to charge it in the car and for safety reasons I need the hands-free.
I am trying to get my Jabra Freeway to operate correctly with my SGSII.Although in my list of contacts on my phone I have configured the settings to only show one set of contacts, (the ones I sync with google) my Jabra Freeway sees the other two sets of contacts. The ones on my sim card and the ones (I think) on my phone). How can I get rid of the sim and phone contacts but just keep the ones synced with Google so that when I try and make a voice operated call via my Jabra Freeway, I am not told I have 3 contacts with the name I want to call.
Why i can't received my file with saving it on my media card ? but i can save with my device memory, when i tried to save on my media card, come out this word "Transfer Failed. See the manual for your Bluetooth hands-free device"I've reboot my Blackberry and i tried again and again, it still can't worked.
I've had problems connecting to any blue tooth aparatus. I've tried with a couple of headsets and then this week I had a problem connecting to the bluetooth in the Sonata I rented. The bluetooth will connect but almost immediately drop the bluetooth connection.
Both laptop and phone see one another but the laptop gives me error message that driver cannot be installed. First query: Can this android phone interface with Win 7 OS via bluetooth? Would a LAN connection be more optimal. If so, can I connect phone to my home LAN?
I have a new Nokia X6 and can not connect it via Bluetooth to any of my PCs, the previous Nokia 6300 did with no flaws whatsoever, this X6 is by far a better phone but can not even be detected by a PC.......Am I missing something ? (see attached for error message)
I installed ovi-suite on my windows XP laptop and tried to connect my X6 using bluetooth. I was able to punch in passcode on my X6. Then ovi suite simply won't continue recognizing my x6. I do see my laptop been paired in my X6, but ovi-suite simply won't continue to next step. After a while of "searching" ovi suite simply shows an error and the process continues. So how do I connect x6 to my PC with bluetooth?
N97 with all software up to date, same as PC Suite.
I can do "Connect to Internet" (from the tools menu) when the phone is linked via the USB cable. When it's on the Bluetooth, the option "Connect to Internet" is greyed out and not available.
Even if I go Tools -> Options, when I click "Connect to Internet" to configure something, PC Suite shows "You must connect your device to be able to change settings".
When I first took delivery of the N97 I had issues connecting it with the Audi BT Telephone interface. It took many attempts to get them paired. When the pairing was finally established, the N97 contacts were not uploaded to the Audi system. With previous phones (this had not been a problem with previous phones such as the 6500). The connection was also flaky - it would automatically connect for approx. 4/5 times at which point the automatic connection simply refused to work and it was necessary to delete the pairing and start all over!
I have recently upgraded the software in the N97 to v 20.0.019 (the latest available). There is no doubt this has resolved the non-uploading of the phone book - this now works well with the Audi and indeed works every time - that is if only I could get the phone to connect!
v20.0.019 may have fixed the uploading of contact information to the Audi BT phone system but it has made significantly worse the problem of automatic connection. Now, once paired, automatic connection is made just 1 or 2 times after which it is simply mot possible to re-establish connection. The ONLY way to fix this is to reload v20.0.019 to the N97. Once re-loaded, the connection is made and the contact information uploaded. GREAT! For a couple of times - then I have to repeat the whole process.
Incidentally, the Audi systems has no problem at all with the 6500, a Blackberry or the iPhone - it is ONLY the N97. The N97 BT connection to Nokia PC suite displays similar issues.
I use the phone with a MAC via Bluetooth and on my work with a Windows XP and PC Suite connected to Outlook 2007. It synchronizes wel,l everything comes in via the XP. But only once a day? A second sync says phone is not idle. Even if I force it. Strange enough the phone is always connected via Bluetooth and if I get a call I can see it on my XP. So bluetooth connection works well. But whatever I try I can only sync once.On the MAC it always works so it's not the phone I think. For the rest I have no issues with the E72 at all. Only GPS without data connection doesn't work. I have seen other remarks on this so I guess can't use it without a data subscription.
auto connection to in car kit ,have read through the help pages, and set to authorize, but will not patch in ,have to do it manually everytime, what a nightmare!! Am i missing something ,it seems to read i need to use a 16 digit code for auto connection, how can this be ?Has never been a problem with any other phone.
My phone will automatically prompt to confirm the request for Bluetooth connection from the CK-7w when I turn the car ignition. When I accept the prompt it would connect. For reasons unknown when I try now it emits two beeps from the car kit and does not connect. No messages etc. I only noticed that when the prompt appears the blue tooth symbol on the phone has two ellipses around it. When I push the phone button to accept the connection a light appears to flash where the confirmation symbol normally appears and then 2 beeps and ellipses disappear from blue tooth symbol on the phone. I updated to the latest firmware on about 6 March 2012 to resolve drop outs etc.
