I have this phone for only 2 days, Installed 3 free small aplications and suddenly I can't connect to bluetooth and I can't get into my email. A few minutes later I can't even open the menu anymore. Keeps on giving a 'memory is full' message..
the phone can't be full.. with just 3 little applications that i installed. Can anyone help me?

View 4 Replies View RelatedJust got myself a new N97mini and still trying to work around it. I noticed that it's a bit slow not very quick compared to my old 6500 slide. I know that it's got heaps more on it. I’ve noticed that when I open applications such as log, contacts, etc. If I am to go and open for e.g.: phone setup a message appears "memory full, close down some applications”. I then go to options in the menu screen and close down the open applications. Firstly why they are there, when they are no longer open and also how do I stop doing what it's doing? How do I turn it off, if I can?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm getting Memory Full on my 5800, when there are 24 MB free on the phone memory.Also, there seems to be 43MB of Other Files, that I can't find anywhere when I browse the phone, so can't get rid of them.
When I tap Applications, sometimes it opens, sometimes I get Memory Fill, please close some applications (or something similar to that message).I can't open Installed Apps to try to remove any.
When I remove the Memory card and try to uninstall apps, of course its only the apps that are in the phone memory, so I can't remove anything that is on the memory card.
I've removed all that I can fromthe phone memory, but can't get rid of the 43MB of other files.
Also, I can't change to the Home Screen Theme to the Shortcuts bar, as it doesn't work. I've updated the software to V31.0.101 and it didn't help. This was prior to the error mentioned above with the Memory being full.
I have 1900 messages in my N79 inbox of memory card & nearby 999 messages in sent of memory card. Free space in Memory card is still 2 GB.Now the problem is that whenever I open any message of inbox & tries to delete it. Error comes up showing that "Text Message: Memory Full, close some applications & try again." However if I don't open the message & simply try to delete a message in inbox no error comes & also the messages gets deleted.So, please help me in this issue.

I have always set it to save my message in the Mass Memory but why, and I really don't know, now I get error messages saying the memory is full and when I check the damned thing has reverted back to the default setting of saving them on the phone memory.I HATE THIS BLOODY PHONE !
If anyone has any ideas other than throwing under the wheels of a lorry let me know, I'd be very grateful. Nokia have said that because this is a different problem to the one its being returned for repair AGAIN it can't be done at the same time.Am I missing something here or what? I have literally taken my brand new C6 handset out of its box a couple of hours ago, and the message icon was blinking although there are no messages at all in the phone.I have tried a factory reset and updating the phone software, but to no avail. The message icon is still blinking.This is now the second Nokia handset I have had with software problems (previous handset 5800 XM). After 10 years of only using Nokia handsets, I am going off them rapidly!

And there obviously wasn't much memory since when people called me it played the default tune which is a sign that it is low on memory.However i look at the phone memory 35mb free.Look at the open applications, and apart from the contacts there was nothing else, but i closed the contacts never the less.However it still kept saying this.However it has seemed to stop now and be fine but never the less i would still like to know if there is any reason that i haven't thought of, of why it might have been saying this?

View 6 Replies View RelatedBelow is a relisting of a current problem I have not managed to fix.I have the latest firmware installed on my N97, but after the latest upgrade (clean install was done, mass mem refromatted, hard reset, etc') On checking over the phone I started getting messages that the Mass mem' was full (Not so) I eventually traced it to my 8 gig mem' card, (is coming up with the message that the memory card is corrupt, I have now tried 3 different mem' cards) cos after this was removed the phone worked perfectly again, I tried reformatting the card via the pc , same problem when the card was put back in, tried a brand new card , same problem, lastly tried a known working 4 gig mem' card, same problem?

I only have about 15 emails in my inbox and yet it is unable to check for new emails and it tells me synchronization failed. So I checked the phone memory and i only have 116.5 MB for installable applications and 18 GB for phone memory. i dont understand why i only have 116.5 Mb for my installable applications i only have about 60 applications and each is only a couply of KBs from the extras repo and from ovi and nothing from extras testing or devel. i have a couple of TV shows and movies. so what could be causing this and is there a way to exactly find out why i am low on memory and fix it. i am able to get email for my gmail account and aol account.
View 24 Replies View RelatedI currently have a NE63 - 3 phone and is currently loving it however two days ago i started getting a sending failed error message everytime I attempt to send text messages and when I click on the details it would say not enough memory please close other applications.I have enough load credits to perform such activity,and i do not have any other applications running in the background,plus the phone memory is nowhere near full capacity.I have already checked the message center number and I currently have the correct settings,I have already peformed a reset but to no avail.I am able to receive text messages,able to make and receive calls,wi - fi access is okay,the only thing I cant do is send text messages.I know there are other e63 users out there who might have experienced the same thing.

I have a Nokia C5-03 with the latest firmware, and now I managed to free 18MB of the phone memory, but when I try to determine a destination without tolls and with optimized routing for a distance of 300 km between the two cities it always says that the memory is full and to close some applications. When I use the navigation the only thing that is on is the Bluetooth but even when I turn it off it happens the same thing. Sometimes the phone restarts itself.

I'm sure there are no application running other than browser, i'm using the default browser coming with nokia. Why is this happen? The space in phone memory has plenty of space. I'm not sure how to check the RAM space.I saw the spec have 128Mb RAM. My homescreen theme is using the "shortcut bar" theme. All the stuff are original, didn't install much application on it.
