i have N900 and i'm facing a problem when i start any conversation i can send 1 msg then receive 1 the second i want to send the phone reflects with error msg(sending failed memory is full delete some data before send or receive)altho i have 26 gb free and i updated the phone to the latest version can any1 assist me with this.
View 4 RepliesI have been trying to copy some sound data files to the mass memory but it is now saying it is full at 32,252,480KB (32GB) according to PC Suite view. I have added very little but have moved a lot of folders around to organise them better for an audio player and deleted many large folders at the same time, so it should not be full.When I look in File Manager on the phone it says there are 26.4GB free.As a test I deleted another large folder. The free memory according to the phone increased accordingly but the used memory in the PC Suite stayed the same.Surely it does not keep copies in all the previous locations or in some sort of Recycle Bin? If so, how do I empty it?If it is full, why does the phone says it has 26.4GB free? (it is GB not MB!!)
View 13 Replies View RelatedSo i was out earlier in the snow, and to my annoyance, it kept beeping saying 'memory full' and then i just click ok. And there obviously wasn't much memory since when people called me it played the default tune which is a sign that it is low on memory.However i look at the phone memory 35mb free.Look at the open applications, and apart from the contacts there was nothing else, but i closed the contacts never the less.However it still kept saying this.However it has seemed to stop now and be fine but never the less i would still like to know if there is any reason that i haven't thought of, of why it might have been saying this?
View 13 Replies View RelatedI currently have a NE63 - 3 phone and is currently loving it however two days ago i started getting a sending failed error message everytime I attempt to send text messages and when I click on the details it would say not enough memory please close other applications.I have enough load credits to perform such activity,and i do not have any other applications running in the background,plus the phone memory is nowhere near full capacity.I have already checked the message center number and I currently have the correct settings,I have already peformed a reset but to no avail.I am able to receive text messages,able to make and receive calls,wi - fi access is okay,the only thing I cant do is send text messages.I know there are other e63 users out there who might have experienced the same thing.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have an E75 for a few months now and I have a problem that totally confuses me: I constantly keep getting the System Message that my Internal Memory C: is full and that I need to either delete files or move them to the flash memory. Sometimes it also refuses to open emails, because of the lack of memory.
The sad part is that almost all of my data already is on the flash card, not on the internal drive. There's literally nothing left to delete from the internal memory. I also tried deleting my personal data from the web browser, but it didn't help much. I checked the data that is stored on the internal memory and it is about 18MB while the phone's file manager sais I have only about 2MB free memory left. 20 MB total memory size seems a little small to me, shouldn't it be 50MB?
Why can't the BB OS use some of the removable memory card space to free up the internal memory. To me this is a no brainer, most of us have 16 or 32gig cards, I would be more than happy to set aside some space so the phone could run better. Most of the new flash cards these days are reasonably fast and could easily be used as a swap file place holder or reside some of the dormitory features.

View 10 Replies View RelatedMy C: memory is showing as full when I try to clear it through the phone file manager despite looking through all folders I cannot identify any large files on it and the same is the case when I try to look through my pc software.
When I hold on the C: memory and look at the memory details it shows 131mb of messages even though I have deleted all txt messages and emails, 46mb of SIS applications I can't see these in the file manager and 72mb of other files which I assume are the OS files.
I have recently upgraded from a 8520 to 9300 and Im having problems with the application memory free space. I only have 55.1MB of free space and I cant download apps in app world cos it uses up all the free space. My space has been as low as 6.1MB. This is my 2nd phone from Virgin as I had the problem with the 1st 9300 and I had to send it back and they said that it was a problem that cant be fixed so they sent me a reconditioned phone but this phone seems to have the same problem too.
I have a 4gb media card installed to save all my pics and music onto.
When I look at my iphone space availabe from the summary page,I have more than 2 GB of "other" items. Can someone tell what this is and how to get rid of them to free up space?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm getting Memory Full on my 5800, when there are 24 MB free on the phone memory.Also, there seems to be 43MB of Other Files, that I can't find anywhere when I browse the phone, so can't get rid of them.
When I tap Applications, sometimes it opens, sometimes I get Memory Fill, please close some applications (or something similar to that message).I can't open Installed Apps to try to remove any.
When I remove the Memory card and try to uninstall apps, of course its only the apps that are in the phone memory, so I can't remove anything that is on the memory card.
I've removed all that I can fromthe phone memory, but can't get rid of the 43MB of other files.
Also, I can't change to the Home Screen Theme to the Shortcuts bar, as it doesn't work. I've updated the software to V31.0.101 and it didn't help. This was prior to the error mentioned above with the Memory being full.
I have 1900 messages in my N79 inbox of memory card & nearby 999 messages in sent of memory card. Free space in Memory card is still 2 GB.Now the problem is that whenever I open any message of inbox & tries to delete it. Error comes up showing that "Text Message: Memory Full, close some applications & try again." However if I don't open the message & simply try to delete a message in inbox no error comes & also the messages gets deleted.So, please help me in this issue.

Following on from my post "Nokia N97 is this the worst phone they have ever made?" I have discovered yet another problem with my USELESS N97. I have always set it to save my message in the Mass Memory but why, and I really don't know, now I get error messages saying the memory is full and when I check the damned thing has reverted back to the default setting of saving them on the phone memory.I HATE THIS BLOODY PHONE !
If anyone has any ideas other than throwing under the wheels of a lorry let me know, I'd be very grateful. I have literally taken my brand new C6 handset out of its box a couple of hours ago, and the message icon was blinking although there are no messages at all in the phone.I have tried a factory reset and updating the phone software, but to no avail. The message icon is still blinking.This is now the second Nokia handset I have had with software problems (previous handset 5800 XM). After 10 years of only using Nokia handsets, I am going off them rapidly!

View 6 Replies View RelatedBelow is a relisting of a current problem I have not managed to fix.I have the latest firmware installed on my N97, but after the latest upgrade (clean install was done, mass mem refromatted, hard reset, etc') On checking over the phone I started getting messages that the Mass mem' was full (Not so) I eventually traced it to my 8 gig mem' card, (is coming up with the message that the memory card is corrupt, I have now tried 3 different mem' cards) cos after this was removed the phone worked perfectly again, I tried reformatting the card via the pc , same problem when the card was put back in, tried a brand new card , same problem, lastly tried a known working 4 gig mem' card, same problem?

What is this message referring to? selected items on my iPhone? or on my PC? I should have no problems syncing with the amount of free space I have. I have not selected to install any new apps, just a few songs, no videos or podcasts. I literally have very few items on my iPhone - 30 apps, 707 songs and 1 book.

I only have about 15 emails in my inbox and yet it is unable to check for new emails and it tells me synchronization failed. So I checked the phone memory and i only have 116.5 MB for installable applications and 18 GB for phone memory. i dont understand why i only have 116.5 Mb for my installable applications i only have about 60 applications and each is only a couply of KBs from the extras repo and from ovi and nothing from extras testing or devel. i have a couple of TV shows and movies. so what could be causing this and is there a way to exactly find out why i am low on memory and fix it. i am able to get email for my gmail account and aol account.

I only have 800 MB free (in Settings -> General -> About) but iTunes tells me I have 3.9 GB. If i remove the phone and then reconnect, iTunes will then show me 800 MB (0.8 GB) I just reproduced the problem by simply going into the apps tab and moving an app to a different folder. My free space immediately changes from 0.8 GB to 3.9 GB. What's going on ?
