IPhone 5c :: IOS 7.1.1 / Showing Message Not Enough Space
Aug 22, 2014
I've paid for 25GB of Icloud storage and only used 16.5 GB. The phone wont let me take any photo's as it says there isn't enough space. In addition I can't upgrade as there is not enough space. What can I do?
i have N900 and i'm facing a problem when i start any conversation i can send 1 msg then receive 1 the second i want to send the phone reflects with error msg(sending failed memory is full delete some data before send or receive)altho i have 26 gb free and i updated the phone to the latest version can any1 assist me with this.
my iPhone 4s keeps showing more space being used for photos than i have -
i have deleted cache folders, unselect and reselect in iTunes I read one post where they said keep syncing and in a couple days it would correct itself, that hasnt happened. I have see others have the same issue but no solution and nothing appears to work my iPhone still shows 6.5 gig use of photos when i only have the camera roll listed
When I look at my iphone space availabe from the summary page,I have more than 2 GB of "other" items. Can someone tell what this is and how to get rid of them to free up space?
I only have 800 MB free (in Settings -> General -> About) but iTunes tells me I have 3.9 GB. If i remove the phone and then reconnect, iTunes will then show me 800 MB (0.8 GB) I just reproduced the problem by simply going into the apps tab and moving an app to a different folder. My free space immediately changes from 0.8 GB to 3.9 GB. What's going on ?
I have an iphone 4 which I have always synced with my computer without problems. I bought a new computer, transferred my music library which I can play fine on my computer but when I want to sync my iphone to this new library, i keep getting the message that there is not enough space on the iphone to sync. I added a few albums to my new library and that's why I want to sync between the computer itunes and my iphone to get them on my phone. The info on Itunes says I have 2.39 GB free, yet it won't sync. I even unchecked everything on the music sync page of itunes and created a playlist of all my songs (1789 of them) and tried to manually sync with just that playlist. It still won't work. I do not know what else to do and have already spent hours and hours fussing with this. I don't want to use Match on my phone because when I travel, I don't always have wifi or data to access from the cloud.Â
I have a 16GB iPhone 5S. I'm trying to sync on my PC, iTunes V. 11.3.1.2 with iOS 7.1.2 . I currently have 4.77 GB of free space on my iPhone (recently deleted a bunch of stuff to try to sync, to no avail.)Â
When I attempt to sync my iPhone with iTunes, I receive the following message:
The iPhone "XXX's iPhone" cannot be synced because there is not enough free space to hold all of the selected items (additional 82.9 MB required).Â
What is this message referring to? selected items on my iPhone? or on my PC? I should have no problems syncing with the amount of free space I have. I have not selected to install any new apps, just a few songs, no videos or podcasts. I literally have very few items on my iPhone - 30 apps, 707 songs and 1 book.
I have inserted a 128gb memory card inmy z3 and saved loads of apps to it but its still showing 125gb of memory available on the memory card. It was also showing this amount of space before I saved anything on the memory card.
i couldnt receive txt messages,i didnt know why,i kept on going thru my phone to see why this was happening i eventually found out that i had to delete apps ,then my txts started to come through, surely i shouldnt have to do this
Fellow BBM user attempted to send me a video, wasn;ta huge video, maybe a minute at the most. When she went to send me the video, a message comeup saying unable to send because I didn't have enoughspace on my phone.I don't have any pictures on my phone or videosand I don't have many text messages.I followed the support and deleted some app.s I don'tuse. I went to the device screen and it says I have43382419 free bytes of memory. Is that not an appropriate amount?Do I need to download a special app. to receive videos?
Why am I constantly plagued with the "Low on volume space: Internal storage space is getting lo"? Nothing in shared folders. Protected content - all any of those things take me to a black screen w/ nothing there. SD card, yes, that's where I keep 29.17GB of 32GB of almost all music - it's the whole reason I bought this phone in the first place. Why does it pester me, and is there a way to make it stop?
Is there any way to browse the internal phone memory on the Desire (the same way you can browse the SD card's contents) or otherwise see what apps/files are taking up what space in the internal memory? Like many others, I'm constantly getting the "low space" message, and I'm trying to figure out what's taking up all my internal memory!
I've been running into problems trying to install apps after a number of my apps have been installed that I had on my Droid X and X2. About 2/3 of the way through installing my apps, they started failing because of being out of space. Well, I found that moving apps to the media area (a la sd card on older phones) worked to get more installed, but after jockeying back and forth between installing and moving and then running out of space and moving newly installed ones so that I can install more new ones, I've hid a road block. I'm not sure what the problem is, as I had all of these on my older phones without problems and if I go to Manage Applications, my Application storage shows 578MB used, 1.4GB free.
Many of my apps are no longer functioning propery (even email) because the internal storage has filled up. All 8.9 gbs of it. I have an SD Card (32 gb) and it has over 29 gb of available space. I have the media set to save to the sdcard so my pics/movies are there. I have 1.9 gbs of space (out of the 2.9 gb) for apps left so I have plenty of room there. How and what do I move to the SDCARD and how do I make sure this data is saved to the sdcard from now on? When I go to manage the apps I can;t find anything. I can manually move files but what can/should I move and how do I get the apps (etc) to save to the sdcard only?
I have checked thru all the folders and saved messages folders and I can't find the message anywhere. When I get a new email or SMS/MMS text messages it says I have the number plus 1, but I can't find the message or get rid of the icon. I have looked in all the Instant messaging folders and still can't find the message.
I have a orange sim card in my iPhone and randomly it comes up with "sim failure" or "no sim card installed" I called orange and all they did was send me a new sim card and no difference
I purchased the 4S (iOS 5.1) and am having a hard time deactivating text previews... All that I've read says to go to settings> messages> show preview then slide to off position, the only problem is, is that I do not have the "show preview" option to slide off.
Today I received a rather strange spam text message (something about PPI and claiming money) that completely took over my phone I say text message because I received that alert just as this thing appeared on my screen.I could not get out of this thing; not even the home button worked! The only way it would allow me to exit the message was for me to click a large green button named "Dismiss"; no other buttons were presented. Not being stupid, I never clicked this button and turned off my iPhone, which got rid of the message.
I have a Nokia XpressMusic and I bought a memory card with (allegedly) 1.9 GB of storage, yet the card runs out of space when I use up a small percentage of space. I have formatted the thing, but still no joy.
When I receive a text message from a friend A, I cannot see, which device this friend texted me from. When I then hit reply, I dont know whether this message will be charged for (sending it to a mobile phone) or free (sending it to an apple ID). This is especially an issue with international texts. Is it possible to have the device shown below the name, they same way it works in "Recent" tab for phone calls? There I can see, whether the person called from their mobile phone, their home phone, via face time.I know, I could just start a new message and pick the receipient manually, or create two separate contacts with a hint in the first name field (e.g. "Apple ID) but that is not as convenient as to just reply to an exiting message.
When an iMessage comes in [on new 4s] the screen shows the entire body of the message. It seems the option to not show message and just show the sender is no longer available in Settings-iMessage.how to change this?
I tried repeatedly to update my iTunes from 10.2.1.1. to 10.6.3 and it always fails and tells me to go to Tools:Download Manually. This also fails.I ultimately want to update my iPhone4 to the lastest IOS and it says that I first have to update iTunes
Now my iphone show itunes logo with cable, and it's stuck like this, so I can do only restore. It's start to do restore but close to the end it's crash and itunes show error 1 message.
My iPhone 4S works fine but when I plug it into iTunes it tells me I need to restore my phone, but iPhoto can access my pictures with no problem. This is the message that pops up:iTunes cannot read the contents of the iPhone "Josh's iPhone". Go to the Summary tab in iPhone preferences and click Restore to restore this iPhone to factory settings.
