I tried sending a picture via text message. This didn't work and I got the message "Message cannot be sent" with that red frowny face. So I deleted the message from the conversation. The problem is, that this deleted message now seems to be stuck somewhere: when I go to the overview of conversations, the one I tried sending the picture now always has that red frowny face next to it, even though since then I was sending normal messages succerssfully. Also that sad frowny face sometimes comes up as a notification. I click on "clear", so it disappears, but then after a while it will come back.  I already cleares the cache for the "Messaging" and restarted the phone, but it's still there. Do you know how I can get rid of the red frowny face?
My iphone is stuck in recovery mode. It is showing error 4013. What to do next. The 02 shop has said it is a hardware problem, but the phone has not been damaged in any way.
I'm having trouble with my iPhone 4, 32GB. It sometimes says the message "panic: we are hanging here..." I bought the iPhone used from an Internet salesman. Now I just need to gather some information to make that salesman repair my iPhone or give me my money back. I have the suspicion that the guy who owned the iPhone before has jailbroken it. I didn't, because the first time I've heard of jailbreak was as my problems with the iPhone appeared. Is it possible that this message "panic: ...." is only appearing on iPhones who have been jailbroken before? Is Apple able to check
- if an iPhone hast been jailbroken before
- and if it has been jailbroken: In what timeframe the jailbreak has been applied and
- if a jailbreak can be proved after restoring an iPhone several times.
I tried nearly everything, restoring it, don't touch it for days after a restore worked (sometimes I had several problems when restoring it), but as soon as I want to use it for phoning, short messaging or surfing it just hangs and is even not starting when pressing homebutton and wake/sleep button at the same time.
My iPhone 5 is suddenly stuck in recovery mode. It won't turn on, the connect to iTunes logo just shows up. I really don't want to restore it because I have 300+ pictures from vacation that have not yet been synced to my photo stream. I guess my question is is there anyway that I can kick my phone out of recovery mode long enough to get those photos in my stream without restoring it? I know there are programs on the Internet that claim to do this but I doubt they work.
I have checked thru all the folders and saved messages folders and I can't find the message anywhere. When I get a new email or SMS/MMS text messages it says I have the number plus 1, but I can't find the message or get rid of the icon. I have looked in all the Instant messaging folders and still can't find the message.
My iphone 4s screen is stuck on a picture of the usb plug with an arrow pointing toward the itunes icon. we discontinued our account with at&t and need to reset this phone to factory settings. I pluged it in to my computer but nothing happened. Brought up itunes, nothing. No reset instructions and the screen never changed. When we originally tried to clear out the info it told us we had to update itunes and we did. Now......stuck.
I bought my iphone 4s about 3 weeks back. For the past two weeks my message/imessage tones always seem to linger on for say 5 seconds and the phone gets stuck for those 5 seconds.
I have a orange sim card in my iPhone and randomly it comes up with "sim failure" or "no sim card installed" I called orange and all they did was send me a new sim card and no difference
I've paid for 25GB of Icloud storage and only used 16.5 GB. The phone wont let me take any photo's as it says there isn't enough space. In addition I can't upgrade as there is not enough space. What can I do?
I purchased the 4S (iOS 5.1) and am having a hard time deactivating text previews... All that I've read says to go to settings> messages> show preview then slide to off position, the only problem is, is that I do not have the "show preview" option to slide off.
Today I received a rather strange spam text message (something about PPI and claiming money) that completely took over my phone I say text message because I received that alert just as this thing appeared on my screen.I could not get out of this thing; not even the home button worked! The only way it would allow me to exit the message was for me to click a large green button named "Dismiss"; no other buttons were presented. Not being stupid, I never clicked this button and turned off my iPhone, which got rid of the message.
I was syncing photos today and my computer crashed. I didn't lose any photos, however it has left my iPhone 4 with a message "Restoring 84 of 90" on the main photo album screen. (See attached image below.) I have done everything short of doing a restore on the phone to try to get rid of it (resyncing, etc) Is that my only option, if that will even work? Or is there something else I can try?
I have an outgoing email stuck in limbo. iPhone 4S, when I open my inbox, the bottom panel reads "One unsent message" then constantly tries to send it. This has been occurring for nearly 24 hours and is draining my battery. How do I do away with this?
When I receive a text message from a friend A, I cannot see, which device this friend texted me from. When I then hit reply, I dont know whether this message will be charged for (sending it to a mobile phone) or free (sending it to an apple ID). This is especially an issue with international texts. Is it possible to have the device shown below the name, they same way it works in "Recent" tab for phone calls? There I can see, whether the person called from their mobile phone, their home phone, via face time.I know, I could just start a new message and pick the receipient manually, or create two separate contacts with a hint in the first name field (e.g. "Apple ID) but that is not as convenient as to just reply to an exiting message.
When an iMessage comes in [on new 4s] the screen shows the entire body of the message. It seems the option to not show message and just show the sender is no longer available in Settings-iMessage.how to change this?
I tried repeatedly to update my iTunes from 10.2.1.1. to 10.6.3 and it always fails and tells me to go to Tools:Download Manually. This also fails.I ultimately want to update my iPhone4 to the lastest IOS and it says that I first have to update iTunes
Now my iphone show itunes logo with cable, and it's stuck like this, so I can do only restore. It's start to do restore but close to the end it's crash and itunes show error 1 message.
