Dec 11, 2014My iphone 4s screen is stuck on a picture of the usb plug with an arrow pointing toward the itunes icon. we discontinued our account with at&t and need to reset this phone to factory settings. I pluged it in to my computer but nothing happened. Brought up itunes, nothing. No reset instructions and the screen never changed. When we originally tried to clear out the info it told us we had to update itunes and we did. Now......stuck.

BB Torch :: Stuck On Loading Screen?
Jul 15, 2011I recently got a blackberry torch. I didn't have any problems with it at all until Wednesday and it's still being weird. I will click on something (a picture I want to look at BBM, Facebook, contacts list, etc) and it will go to the loading screen and stay there for a good two minutes - sometimes more every time. It makes it impossible for me to do anything. I tried deleting things that I didn't need, and I checked my memory.. it all seems fine. Like I said, it was always fine, I hadn't done a single thing different, and all of a sudden it started doing this.
I also thought it was because I need to do an update, and I checked and there are updates that need to be done, however I just moved and I cannot find the disc that I got when I got my phone anywhere.

Dec 20, 2010After i deleted an app called IM+ my phone rebooted and has been stuck on this black loading screen with the white lettering Blackberry logo and name. The status bar goes to the top...THEN IT REPEATS IN A NEVERENDING LOOP! Even when i start Blackberry Desktop it of course wont even connect to my device because it is not loaded.

May 22, 2011I had to restart my Torch 9800 after deleting an application. I pressed "Restart now", it went to the booting/start up screen with the BlackBerry logo and the loading bar at the bottom but then the loading bar froze at the very end.
I tried the ALT + right MAJ + DEL "soft reset" and the battery pull many times but the loading bar kept freezing at the same point everytime. I even removed the battery for a day but nothing changed.
The BlackBerry Desktop Software on my computer recognizes it as a Torch 9800 but is unable to connect to the terminal. I've seen on a forum that you can try to use AppLoader.exe to restore the OS. I'm not sure I did that right though but anyway AppLoader couldn't proceed the step of the connection to my terminal. It recognizes it, asks for the password but can't connect to it. It is kind of as soon as the loading bar freezes, AppLoader is unable to perform anything that could save my Torch.

Nov 9, 2012I tried updating blackberry msg, twitter and blackberry protect through app world, it asked for a reset after the installation, the phone got stuck on the boot screen, did battery pull a couple of times and still it was getting stuck at that exact point, finally reloaded the OS and it still didnt bulge, tried a couple of other OS downgrades and it's still stuck on the boot screen at that exact point

while downloading bbm music earlier, just as it was finishing downloading, my phone switched itself off, and went to the black blackberry screen with the white loading bar at the bottom. it has been in a loop on this screen for about half an hour now, and i am very worried! the white loading bar gets to about 3 quarters of the way done and shuts down and starts the process all over again. i've tried taking the battery out, putting my phone on charge and nothing will help it!

Mar 4, 2015I tried sending a picture via text message. This didn't work and I got the message "Message cannot be sent" with that red frowny face. So I deleted the message from the conversation.The problem is, that this deleted message now seems to be stuck somewhere: when I go to the overview of conversations, the one I tried sending the picture now always has that red frowny face next to it, even though since then I was sending normal messages succerssfully. Also that sad frowny face sometimes comes up as a notification. I click on "clear", so it disappears, but then after a while it will come back.Â

I already cleares the cache for the "Messaging" and restarted the phone, but it's still there. Do you know how I can get rid of the red frowny face?

I really don't want to restore it because I have 300+ pictures from vacation that have not yet been synced to my photo stream. I guess my question is is there anyway that I can kick my phone out of recovery mode long enough to get those photos in my stream without restoring it? I know there are programs on the Internet that claim to do this but I doubt they work.

Dec 3, 2012I have a number of icons/programs on my Torch that are not showing up for some reason. Now of course I've tried selecting "Show All" from the BlackBerry menu, yet none of the missing programs show up.It first started a few months ago, where my Twitter app stopped showing up (even though in BlackBerry App World it showed as installed, yet was no where to be found). I managed a work-around, by using UberSocial, so I didn't bother looking into it. Then I tried downloading Hoot Suite, with again the same problem; App World said it was installed, but the actual program was no where. Now I just had a third program do the same thing, but this one's more important. The actual app for BlackBerry App World is now not showing up; so not only can't I use its barcode reader, but I obviously can't download any programs, or update any.
