Jul 6, 2012I'm having trouble with my iPhone 4, 32GB. It sometimes says the message "panic: we are hanging here..." I bought the iPhone used from an Internet salesman. Now I just need to gather some information to make that salesman repair my iPhone or give me my money back. I have the suspicion that the guy who owned the iPhone before has jailbroken it. I didn't, because the first time I've heard of jailbreak was as my problems with the iPhone appeared. Is it possible that this message "panic: ...." is only appearing on iPhones who have been jailbroken before? Is Apple able to check
- if an iPhone hast been jailbroken before
- and if it has been jailbroken: In what timeframe the jailbreak has been applied and
- if a jailbreak can be proved after restoring an iPhone several times.
I tried nearly everything, restoring it, don't touch it for days after a restore worked (sometimes I had several problems when restoring it), but as soon as I want to use it for phoning, short messaging or surfing it just hangs and is even not starting when pressing homebutton and wake/sleep button at the same time.

BB Bold 9000 :: OS 5.0 - Randomly Crash And Restart And Crash And Restart
Jan 6, 2010I have had my Bold 9000 for about two months. I bought it unlocked and have been using it with T-mobile. When I first got it, i upgraded it to the latest leaked os 5.0. The thing is, I had problems with it. First it would just randomly crash and restart and crash and restart, continuously tell it just drained the battery out. Sometimes, on restarts, the standard Blackberry ringtones would not work, and sometimes they would. Sometimes when it would restart after crashing it would say, "net_app_something_ (52) isnt working and was canceled". I assumed it was a bad leak and tried several different version. (and this same occurred with each OS. I would install it on my pc, on my buddy's who has an unlocked Bold 9000 on t-mobile just like me. In the end I gave up and went back to 4.6. Yesterday i tried the new, official OS 5.0.It worked at first, but then when I install the newest BBM, it started crashing again, until the battery was gone. So now I have reinstalled it, kept the standard BBM that comes with the OS. and also deleted Quickpull. thinking it might have to do with it as well. On a last weird note. It seems only to crash in the evening. In the morning it is perfectly fine, however once it passes 4pm , the crashing beings, non if this occurs with 4.6.
Any ideas? My friend and I are both lost. Sorry for the wordy post, but it is really difficult to describe the retardedness of this situation.
BB Curve 8520/8530 :: No Primary Work Email Icon / All Email Accounts Dump To Messages
Apr 28, 2010I used a Storm for the last 30 days, and had 3 distinct and separate icons:
Messages - catchall for everything
Desktop email icon
2nd/personal email icon
However, I switched back to the Curve (8530) because of the keyboard, and now I don't have a primary desktop email icon. The only way to view work email is to use the messages icon where everything else goes as well. Is there any way to create or separate the two email accounts so I can view the work email separately?

Each time, I checked the battery level, it appears at about 50% and whatever apps i use. It crashed with Photo, Tiny Tower, Blokus apps. I don't try other apps yet. I already make a complete rescue. Jun 6, 2012I cannot open Facebook or Twitter on safari or their apps. My iPhone acts as if it's loading the page data up then the screen goes black and safari crashes. Same with their respective apps. It's as if those two pages overload my phone. I had this problem with iOS5 and it's recent update iOS 5.1.1. Today my phone crashed 23 times in a row (yes I counted!) before I gave up trying to open them.
Along with the two issues above, I noticed if I send any iMessages to anyone during the time I am experiencing the high number of crashes, they delete off my phone AND the recipients phone. They will deliver, but when I open iMessage after a crash they will have gone.
Last week I plugged my phone to iTunes and did a software upgrade and imediately started having the issue, then within about two hours of upgrading to 5.1.1 I I had to do a software restore because it was SO bad. It solved the problem for all of about NEVER lol I thought it might have something to do with the ram needed to run those apps and load those pages so I deleted ALL my images and loads of apps I don't use, that only increased my storage size. When I started experiencing these issues I had about 4gb left of my 16gb storage, after a restore and clean out I had 10gb. When I started experiencing the problems I was still on iOS 5.0 I'm now on iOS 5.1.1 and it's gotten worse and thrown the new issue of iMessages deleting that I have sent in to the mix.
Lastly, I noticed its not a constant issue. I will have a series of crashes, my phone will act incredibly slow, iMessage deletes messages etc, Facebook and Twitter don't open, in fact my phone will crawl so slowly it's pure agony, switching my phone off and the back on doesn't help, and then it will suddenly work again. Like today, I was out sat in the huge post office queue and tried to use Facebook via safari and it kept crashing, happened over and over, it was like this for about 30 minutes, then it sorted itself out again and now I am at home I can use Facebook via safari.

Mail works, and calendar works also. I've restored from back up 3 times now but still no joy. Same problems. Cannot open mail, contacts, calendars in settings - presumably because contacts crashes.Looked on forums and tried merging contacts with iCloud but the merge crashes when I select contacts.I only upgraded because iTunes badgered me to do so every time I connected. Had no problem before this.
