BB Style :: Have Lost Several Important Emails By Assuming They Were Safe In A Folder And Then Deleting Them On It?

I use Hotmail for email. It used to be that if I moved a message to a folder in hotmail (on my laptop) and then deleted it from my inbox on the BB, the message would still be in the folder. Now it seems that if I delete a message on my BB, it deletes it from my email account, no matter where it's stored. Is this new or do I need to change a setting to fix it? I have lost several important emails by assuming they were safe in a folder and then deleting them on it.

I have configured my mgail and official emails on my BB Curve. Till a few days back, everything was working perfectly but suddenly, some automatic change happened in the filters of both accounts, and I'm able to see only emails marked 'Important' in those icons. For all the other emails, I have to go to the 'Messages' icon.
When I check the Filter option for my gmail (or official mail) icon, I saw that it was default marked to 'Important'. I am able to change it to 'Inbox' and see my inbox emails temporarily but there's no option of saving that filter type. When I open my gmail (or official mail) icon the next time, I only see the 'Imporant' mails.

I'm having a problem deleting all my trashed emails. Since I've gotten the S5 I've been getting rid of emails quickly. They also reside on my PC's Outlook so I decided not to have 875 emails cluttering up the S5. I use the combined view for my 2 non-Gmail accounts. All was working well until recently when there appeared to be 52 emails that remain even after I select all. 42 are from one account and the other 10 from the other account. I've tried deleting the trash from each account separately but the 52 keep reappearing when I "Show all folders" in the combined view (and the 42 from one and 10 from the other when I look at each account).
How can I delete this peskly "deck-of-cards" (52) emails? I guess the most drastic would be to delete the two accounts and start all over, but I'm curious to know how it might have happened in the first place.
Here's a picture of the situation. The only difference in the 3rd image is that after I delete, what shows as remaining in the trash is 52.

I am receiving important emails on my Iphone 3gs that never show up on my computer. I need them on my computer. Is there a way I can be assured they will be received on my computer?Also, AT&T added a folder on my Iphone in the mailboxes called "synched messages". There was a problem that caused them to do this and stated we could delete the folder after we dealt with the emails they put in that folder. I do not find an option anywhere allowing me to delete the synched message folder.

Just got a replacement N5 and I'm using the native email app (as I was on my previous N5), with gmail syncing turned on. The problem is when I delete an email on my phone, it's not deleting it from the Gmail server (it's still there if I check email on my PC). Some setting on the phone or in Gmail on the PC that I'm forgetting about?

I have a Nokia x6 16 gb..I had it for about a week in which time I added 14gb of music and the uk maps..All was working perfectly. However.... Last Saturday I decided to use the "comes with music" voucher that came with it..I selected the music I wanted and downloaded it and was told that I had to download the DRM software to play...I clicked yes and then waited and waited..it seemed my phone had frozen as ovi player would not transfer any music to it.. I unplugged it and tried to plug back in but got the dreaded "mtp device driver failed". I have tried everything I have read on these forums and the web including:- Deleting the folder in the private folder on the mass storage card. performing a hard reset on the phone (although my music was still on the card?) Deleting all of the nokia software and running the nokia cleaner and reinstalling... Doing the above but disabling Windows media player and reanabling it a later date still no joy.. I have windows 7 home premium 64 bit on my desktop so no options to reinstall WMP just disable. I have tried to plug it into my wifes' laptop which has windows 7 home premium 32 bit and I get the same message however her nokia 5800 works fine in her laptop..

I know how to delete an app, but I want to know how to remove the icon also? I want it completely gone off of my phone like I never downloaded it in the first place. I recently lost my iPhone.It was a first generation that I had managed to hold onto and keep working for years. I left it in the back of a cab and despite all my effort to relocate it, it appears it's gone for good.I had AT&T deactivate it 20 mins after I lost it. I also had the passcode feature active. AT&T has assured me that the combination of the two will pretty much render the phone a paper weight unless whoever found the phone restores it. I've never had to restore the phone, so one question I have is could whoever has my phone gain access to my data after restoring it? Like will iTunes back up the data for them and then allow them to download it again to the phone?Is my data safe? I work for a media organization and I had some very sensitive and valuable data on that phone. The kind of data I could lose my job over if a third party were to somehow access it. Not to mention the countless phone numbers and the huge log of text messages that contained sensitive personal information. Also, please spare me the ridicule of asking why I had so much important information on the phone.I've spent the last week beating myself up over it, and needless to say have learned my lesson. Trust me when I say I"ve punished myself enough over this.After an initial search, it appears there are illicit ways to hack the phone and get around the passcode, however my understanding of the subject is limited, and my question boils down to: can someone access the data on my phone?I"m merely looking for peace of mind here.

Upgraded my Nokia N8-00 to Nokia Belle today. Everything is great - phone feels much faster, menus are speedier, looks are stunning, no hitches or data loss during upgrade (except for few applications like Fring which disappeared). So congratulations on your fabulous work on the Belle firmware!A big grouse however is the redesign of the Messaging application. I am used to seeing the good old folder-based view of Inbox, Outbox, Drafts, Sent, etc. as soon as I open the Messaging app (I'm sure that's the case with most people).However, in Belle, when I open Messaging, I see all my messages from all folders in one place (arranged by date & time). This is very, very confusing and not pleasant at all, since messaging is one of the most important things done on a phone, even today.I know I can still see the folder-based view by clicking on the rightmost option in taskbar and selecting "View folders". But I don't want to be doing that everytime.

Recently I had to change my password with ATT. Since then, I am not receiving any emails on my phone; both personal and school. Everytime I try to set up the emails again, it says unable to due to inaccurate password and/or email. I am using the correct email and passwords for both but to no avail. I am trying to find a way to delete with a single tap all the pdf files, thumbnails and other files which end up in my Downloads folder. I have Cleanmaster, but this won't let you choose what to clean. I also have ES File Explorer which will let me access the folder and delete the files, but I'd rather have this process more automated.

I have a desktop pc with the 8.1 OS and the Nokia 1020 with the same. When I open IE on the Nokia, the favorites folder is synced with my desktop favorites. These favorites show up in two places on the phone.
(1) The favorites menu (2) a folder icon at the bottom of the favorites menu.
I can't figure out how to delete all favorites in both places on the phone only. I wish to keep the favorites on my desktop IE.
In the Nokia menu, I turned off all sync functions. In OneDrive, I turned off all sync functions. I even factory reset the phone after turning off all sync functions. The favorites for IE are still there in both places.

prior to ICE after deleting e-mails I could see a list of my e-mail folders, go to the trash folder and empty it. I have been trying but can't seem to find how to go to those folders. I can't seem to trash my photo either. I know I am missing something here but just can't figure out how to do it.

When I click on any email icon and the Text icon nothing happens. Whereas in the past (like even early this afternoon) I would be able to see emails or texts - or if no email or texts it would say 'No messages' - I cannot open either emails or text and therefore cannot create, read, or anything else. The scroll button is inop after clicking on email or text and I must it the exit button to regain control of the scroll button.

I have recently purchased a Torch and set up two email accounts which both synch with Outlook. My emails are now being deleted from my Torch, although sent ones are still there. I have changed settings so email is deleted after 60 days. I read somewhere that I should turn off wireless reconcile, but that hasn't helped either. Does anyone have any other suggestions as the whole reason for having the blackberry is to connect with my emails remotely
