Jul 23, 2012I want to delete all my old emails. I can do it message by message, but one starts to lose the will to live. How can I do this en bloc?

BB Torch :: Automatically Deleting Emails?
May 12, 2012I have recently purchased a Torch and set up two email accounts which both synch with Outlook. My emails are now being deleted from my Torch, although sent ones are still there. I have changed settings so email is deleted after 60 days. I read somewhere that I should turn off wireless reconcile, but that hasn't helped either. Does anyone have any other suggestions as the whole reason for having the blackberry is to connect with my emails remotely

Jan 9, 2012This is the third torch I have had in the last 3 months. I've returned the phone because it continues to delete texts and emails every week or so. Never do the emails or texts last more than a couple weeks. I always have my display options set to forever and I amy using less than 20% of the memory. I don't know what else to do, but it's extremely frustrating.

May 4, 2015I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 on Verizon. Stock Email program with corporate Exchange email account. 2 emails that I delete on the phone just won't go away. No matter how many times I delete them, or which method I use, I even tried moving them to the Trash folder, they pop back up in my inbox. Confirmed they are completely deleted on the Exchange server. I have cleared the cache and cleared the data on the multiple Email programs in the application manager multiple times, they still come back, just these two specific emails. I also booted into the menu and wiped the whole cache partition, no luck.

Jan 18, 2012I have always been able to delete emails on my Atrix and still be able to download them on my PC later.I'm using the standard IMAP configuration that sets itself up to AT&T automatically.I have not altered those settings.I've deleted my 2 email accounts on my Atrix and reinstalled them.I can't find any options on my Atrix that allow me to choose to leave messages on the server.On my PC, I'm using Outlook 2007.In the email account configurations, I have checked the box that says "Leave a copy of the message on server".I have uninstalled Outlook and reinstalled it. Jul 8, 2014I'm having a problem deleting all my trashed emails. Since I've gotten the S5 I've been getting rid of emails quickly. They also reside on my PC's Outlook so I decided not to have 875 emails cluttering up the S5. I use the combined view for my 2 non-Gmail accounts. All was working well until recently when there appeared to be 52 emails that remain even after I select all. 42 are from one account and the other 10 from the other account. I've tried deleting the trash from each account separately but the 52 keep reappearing when I "Show all folders" in the combined view (and the 42 from one and 10 from the other when I look at each account).
How can I delete this peskly "deck-of-cards" (52) emails? I guess the most drastic would be to delete the two accounts and start all over, but I'm curious to know how it might have happened in the first place.
Here's a picture of the situation. The only difference in the 3rd image is that after I delete, what shows as remaining in the trash is 52.
