I have an Ipad, Iphone a Macbook pro and a PC my email is thru Go Daddy and when I deleate emails from 1 of the devices it comes back. How do I stop that from happening?

Just got a replacement N5 and I'm using the native email app (as I was on my previous N5), with gmail syncing turned on. The problem is when I delete an email on my phone, it's not deleting it from the Gmail server (it's still there if I check email on my PC). Some setting on the phone or in Gmail on the PC that I'm forgetting about?

Now when i delete my emails on my phone they now delete from my Macbook and the server as well i am using a BTinternet account as i have just sighed up to their broadband. I have never kept emails on my phone and have always deleted after reading but the email as always been left on the Macbook for future reference and on the server this is really a pain i delete on the phone then thinking it's still on my Macbook as normal now its GONE.
I cannot see any setting to stop this annoying thing...

Never do the emails or texts last more than a couple weeks. I always have my display options set to forever and I amy using less than 20% of the memory. View 8 Replies View RelatedI have a Samsung Galaxy S6 on Verizon. Stock Email program with corporate Exchange email account. 2 emails that I delete on the phone just won't go away. No matter how many times I delete them, or which method I use, I even tried moving them to the Trash folder, they pop back up in my inbox. Confirmed they are completely deleted on the Exchange server. I have cleared the cache and cleared the data on the multiple Email programs in the application manager multiple times, they still come back, just these two specific emails. I also booted into the menu and wiped the whole cache partition, no luck.
