Now when i delete my emails on my phone they now delete from my Macbook and the server as well i am using a BTinternet account as i have just sighed up to their broadband. I have never kept emails on my phone and have always deleted after reading but the email as always been left on the Macbook for future reference and on the server this is really a pain i delete on the phone then thinking it's still on my Macbook as normal now its GONE.
I cannot see any setting to stop this annoying thing...

The problem is when I delete an email on my phone, it's not deleting it from the Gmail server (it's still there if I check email on my PC). Apr 27, 2012I have a Droid Razr. I love the phone. I use the email application that looks like an envelope with a "@" partially sticking out of it. It all works great, but is there SOME way to delete emails from there without it deleting them from my email server? My email is in gmail; on the desktop at home I read it through Firefox. If I delete ANY messages on the phone, even messages that have been read, they are deleted from my gmail account at home (they are in the trash). I've looked and looked and can't find a setting on the phone that would prevent this.

Interestingly though, if I delete or read an email on my BB, the action is reciprocated on the web.And finally, if I send myself an email (either from the web or my BB), it appears on the web but not on my BB.

Aug 20, 2010I have imported in the last version of ovi maps (on a E71) a big lmx file (more than a thousand of POI).The problem is that they do not appear in my favorite list but they are here. If I go to ovi.com I can see on the server all the favourites. If I delete all of them on ovi.com (very long because impossible to select/all delete, you have to do it one by one). Then I sync my favourites (ont the phone maps/favorites/sync with ovi.com). I takes several minutes and I change nothing on the phone but now all of my faovrites are back on my ovi.com space Thus, they are on the phone but they do not appear. Thus I can't move/delete them.Worse again. If I manually add a favourtie from the phone, It appears in the list in the phone. But if I quit maps/ and launch it again, the list appears empty.It seems there is a problem in displaying a long list of favourites.I want to delete all my favorites. How can I do ? Is there a file somewhere on the phone that I can delete ?

Jun 7, 2010This is really bothering me.I have a yahoo mail account set up on my phone - It has been on there for over a year - it has always worked this way - If I get an email (the phone goes "bing") and i read it on the computer - and responded and delete it on the computer it would be removed from the phone the next time i looked. Recently I began noticing that the message is not being delated from the phone if I delete it from the mailbox, and I can't figure out why.
Basically I want to be able to read the message on the computer and hit delete and for it do the same thing on my blackberry and vise versa. Now it seems to work if I delete the message on the BB then it will not be in the Mailbox on the computer.
