I'm using my S6 edge with a hosted Exchange account and the default Samsung e-mail app. I have a number of e-mails (currently, 14) in my in-box that will not be deleted on my phone. If I delete them on the phone, they reappear there later! The same messages do not appear anywhere else when I access my Exchange account (Outlook, iPad, etc.) So, it is definitely something specific to the phone's e-mail app. (I've used three previous Samsung phones without this issue.)

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a blackberry bold where all my emails are being bulked into groups/folders.Basically in short, all my emails are bulk bulked up, such as if anything forming from person A will go into a folder, anything from person b goes into folder b.I am using also several email account and it happens to all of them.
This also makes it hard to search for any recent emails that just came in. I talked for numerous hours to Tmobile and even more with specialist with blackberry and they couldn't find a solution. Someone did mention to me that the Bold 9700 and if your on a 5.0 software with gmail account it messes it up and bulks up the emails.
It's strange because my son uses a Curve 8900 and has access to my email account but it doesn't bulk up the same emails, and he is on 4.6OS
I have been creating all sorts of trails within Ovi maps.I have, in error now created at least 400 "favourite places" while trying to create a trail. These favourite places seem to be slowing down my devices, and I can find no easy way of deleting them. Other than selecting each one and confirming individually.I have deleted the places on the Ovi Maps interface within IE, but I am unable to synchronise the phone to pick up my deletions.I'm guessing I am unable to sync due to the very large number of favourite places I have on the device.
I've tried to delete OVI maps, but I'm guessing its part of the OS...Does anyone know how I can delete them through the file explorer view?
When you view your email through the preinstalled apps, either Hotmail or Google. When you viewed them and deleted them then return to your email on a PC/Desktop the emails you've deleted are still there?
View 8 Replies View RelatedI just got a Galaxy S6 Edge and it isn't vibrating when I get an email to my main inbox. It is vibrating as it should for texts and calls, but not emails. However, it is updating when I get an email to my junk email. Over the last couple days I've had a couple loaner phones (due to my provider sending the wrong phones) and the S5 I had was vibrating when I got emails but neither the S6 or S6 Edge (which I have now) would vibrate for emails. Is there some setting I need to change so I get emails to vibrate?
View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter years of owning a blackberry I finally switched over to a Samsung. I have configured my imap mail servers and have it working (receiving and sending). I have a question. I removed my e-mails using web-mail on a computer but the e-mails still show up on the phone. I have manually sync'd the phone multiple times and they are still there. Why this is the case (My phone shows 250+ e-mails and when I log onto web-mail, I have about 20, which is correct)?

View 1 Replies View RelatedSame thing happened from time to time on my S2. Every time I delete emails, they come back like 4-5 times. I have to delete them multiple times a day before they stay deleted. It doesn't matter if I delete them from my actual Gmail account on my PC, they still keep coming back. It also happens if I go from a WiFi area, to a non-WiFi area. It is SO ANNOYING. And, to make matters worse, I have 3 email accounts linked to my phone, which are all needed for work, so this just confuses me so many times during the day. I cannot work like this for one more second.

I just got a Samsung s6 edge and I am wondering if there's a way to put apps like whats'app instagram etc on the edge. You can do that on the note edge but I can't seem to figure it out on the s6 edge.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI just got the S6 Edge today and set it up. I've noticed that the phone heats up a lot when under a heavy load, which I understand, but when I'm holding it, it feels like it could almost burn me. The phone is not overheating, although when it does heat up I do notice the performance drop. None of this is a dealbreaker, I just wanted to know, is it normal for the phone to get so hot? Is it just because the phone's outer casing is metal and glass rather than plastic that it feels like this?
View 6 Replies View RelatedEdge get quite hot with normal use. When I say hot I don't meant not able to touch the phone but the aluminum bezel especially gets quite hot. I haven't noticed it in the past with my previous sapphire black probably because I've has a case on it.
