So flipboard locks itself on the home screen and I cannotbe deleted from my knowledge. Is there a way to delete this? I would like to use every inch of my phones screen real estate.

Here I will put it another way. Instead of going through my homescreens like 1,2,3,4,5,4,3,2,1. What if I want to go 1,2,3,4,5,1 by swiping?Or 1 straight to 5 by swiping left. Etc.

View 4 Replies View Relatedafter installing the Android 5.1.1 update on my Galaxy S6 edge almost all home screen icons have disappeared, even the bottom ones like phone, contacts and messages.The apps icons in the app drawer have also completely disappeared. The apps are still there and working, but I can only access them when I get a new notification.I have tried rebooting several times, and clearing the Touchwiz launcher data, but nothing changes.

I seem to have noticed that on my phone it says GPRS and on my friends it says EDGE at the top right of the screen on your home screen.I havent got any applications open and my battery still dies quick. I think it has to do with this GPRS story

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm using my S6 edge with a hosted Exchange account and the default Samsung e-mail app. I have a number of e-mails (currently, 14) in my in-box that will not be deleted on my phone. If I delete them on the phone, they reappear there later! The same messages do not appear anywhere else when I access my Exchange account (Outlook, iPad, etc.) So, it is definitely something specific to the phone's e-mail app. (I've used three previous Samsung phones without this issue.)

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo on my s3 I was able to wireless print to my hp that is on my home network.
When I used to print I think there was a samsung print server and a google print server. I think the google one is what worked.
However on the s6 there is only a samsung one. I did download the hp print app from the play store. When I go to print something it shows my printer however nothing comes out or of it is supposed to I cancel it after five minutes. The printer is on line and does work with a lap top.
i am living in india and when i bought bb bold its home screen showed gsm then some day after it showed edge and now its continuously showing 3g...and signal besides 3g is searching something...now as of this my battery is draining very fast

Not connected but I've got a notification showing on my Facebook icon but no notification or I've already read it. Have uninstalled and reinstalled but still there.
I own a GS6. Whenever someone calls me and leaves a voice-mail I usually delete the voice-mail, but the voice-mail ends up not deleting. I've deleted them several times and they've came back.

Switched back to "Standard Mode", but found my home screen gone, with a blank page in it's place. I found some directions on how to move pages around, making one a home screen. I selected the page I wanted as home screen and moved it to the page where the white house icon is highlighted. I was done but noticed nothing had changed. Home page still blank, so I did it again. I find that whenever I try creating my home screen page by moving it to the highlighted white house icon, the white house icon shifts to the left, remaining blank.

When I click on "+ Add Fingerprint" I immediately get an error message saying "Make sure that the Home key is clean and dry, then try again". It does this before even attempting to scan my fingerprint. When I click OK on the message it closes out of the add fingerprint screen straight away. When I go back in there I get the same message immediately.

I miss the full screen album art on the lock screen from my lg G3 while playing any type of media (Pandora, Spotify, etc.) ... Even worked while I used xbmc (now kodi)... I believe even Samsung had this as well. While some didn't like it, I loved it!
Any way to get that back on the s6/edge?? Not sure why they did away with this.
I'm rooted, so if there's any mods out there that'll achieve this for root, let me know
I have to empty home panels on my S6. They are not main home screnn juat extra panels that have no icons. System is not letting me drag them to the remove icon.
