I have had my phone for over a year now, and have had no problem with emails syncing, etc.My BB emails are connected to a Hotmail account. But all of a sudden, if I delete emails on my Hotmail, they won't delete on my phone, meaning I have to do it manually, which is annoying.I have tried deleting and adding the email account again on my BB but I still have the same problem.
How do I set up my Curve so that when I delete emails from my Hotmail account that it automatically deletes from my Curve. I don't want it to delete from Hotmail when I delete from Curve (and it currently doesn't).
Only in the past two days when I delete an email from Hotmail on my PC, it does not delete on my BB.However, if I delete an email from my BB and select "mailbox & handheld", it is deleted from Hotmail on my PC.I have had the same Pearl 8110 on the same T-mobile package for more than 12 months.I have checked that wireless reconciliation is "on" in my BB email settings. Also, late today my BB has started truncating all my messages and not providing the "more" option or automatically loading the rest of the message.
When this happens, it never makes it to my outlook on PC, which is where I address my email. Most fixes will say go to settings on "incoming mail" and check "never" delete from server, S6 does NOT have this option.
For some reason I am not getting my hotmail e-mails. I have the address on the BB. It shows the folder, but I am never notifed of new e-mails.this problem just started recently.
I stopped receiving emails from my hotmail accont to my phone yesterday and then had a message from blackberry saying I needed to validate my email, which I did fine and also registered my blackberry ID. However, I still cannot send or receive my emais and when I try to send it comes up with an error message: 'User account is in INVALID mode'. I did change my hotmail password the other day; don't know if this is of importance. In addition, I have tried to modify the email account set up on my blackberry but it will not allow me to access the current account settings or allow me to add a new account, the option just doesn't exist or appear, which had not been an issue up until now. I could, however, set up an enterprise account if wanted. I am not sure who to contact about this so thought I'd post here first...
I had a Curve 8330 and had a problem with it sync-ing to my computer. Verizon sent me a new phone and it works fine. The only problem is that all of my old emails/texts are on the old device and I need them in my new device. Is there any way to download/sync the new device so that I get access to my old messages? Even if I could download/sync directly from hotmail.I would love to have my old BBMs too but that is definitely secondary.
I brought a new Blackberry Curve 8520 recently (PIN No: XXXXXXX) from China from a branded Blackberry Showroom. And OH I almsot forgot Im taking my precious time and the added pain to write this post to get a resolution instead of a diplomatic happy go lucky and irresponsible answer saying that "We are very sorry that feature is yet not available" or "We are sorry to hear that we will do that in near future", I've heard lot of Sorry's and Apologies over this issue, so please don't feel sorry about that if your not really sorry! My problems described step by step:
A) Whenever I receive an email on my Hotmail which is successfully configured on my BB, if there is a filter to sort it into a predefined FOLDER, then BB fails to retrieve that email?
B) Its logical to sort your emails into folders if your getting tons of email and your business relies on that medium of communication?
C) This is a GLOBAL issue faced by every BB user? Oh Yes I already did some research on the BB Support Forums and everywhere else.
D) Since my Blackberry model is 8520 aka. SmartPhone which is an understatement? SmartPhone I mean come on ? Its a Dumb Phone that cant detect Email Folders!
C) I don't want to pile up my other emails by using a solution which youre about to say -> Forward your email to another email address Inbox! Or asking me to upgrade my Hotmail?
D) Gmail works perfectly under this scenario, ie. I also use Gmail thanks to my conscience I can successfully receive all emails even if they are sorted or filtered into Folders!
E) Should we urge to ask Uncle Billy to modify Hotmail so that this work on everyones BB? Sure that would be fun but I think he's too busy!
So, the Answer I can predict with my super powers is -> Either NONE you wont respond at all! or this post might get deleted because of the nature of this issue being over reacted upon or you will say "Sorry we are working on that since our Programmers, Technicians and Engineers goofed up big time, but hopefully we will be able to fix it in the next BB so you should throw this one as soon as a new one arrives and make another Dumb purchase of a Dumb Phone !
how to delete multiple e-mails at the same time? I used to have a Blackberry Pearl and was able to highlight multiple e-mail messages and delete them. Now I have a Blackberry Curve 9350 and I do not know if this is even an option.
I currently have BES and when I delete my emails from my device, they are not deleting from my outlook account. I do have delete from mailbox and handheld, have changed this setting, saved, and changed it back and still not working.
Just got a replacement N5 and I'm using the native email app (as I was on my previous N5), with gmail syncing turned on. The problem is when I delete an email on my phone, it's not deleting it from the Gmail server (it's still there if I check email on my PC). Some setting on the phone or in Gmail on the PC that I'm forgetting about?
I am a new Blackberry user and am having a few issues with my email setup. I use Comcast email (pop3) and windows live mail as my email addresses. When I delete an email from my PC or Outlook, it does not update the handheld. I have had the phone for a week or so now and still have all my old deleted emails on it.
My settings are: Delete On: Mailbox and Handheld Wireless Reconcile is checked On Conflicts: Mailbox wins.
Both email accounts are having the same issue. I receive lots of email daily and don't want to have to re-read /re-delete previously deleted emails from my handheld. Is there a setting I am missing here?
I use my BB Curve 9300 for work (Outlook 2007) and for personal use. My emails are being deleted after they are 7 days old and then when I scroll thru my emails it goes to weird dates with only 1 email there. Also, my texts are being deleted after only a few days...so frustrating!!! I have to be able to go back thru my emails. I went and looked at my memory thinking I was out of memory, but I have 3.0 gb of memory avaliable.
I have a BB Tour with Bell Canada, and recently, our company recently updated our BES server.Ever since the switch, I no longer can sync my BIS server emails. So on my BB, I have my company's BES email(lotus notes), and that syncs up fine...if I delete an email from my BB, it'll delete on my desktop, and vice versa. But for my BIS emails(hotmail), when I delete from my BB, it will not delete the email from my hotmail account...or when I delete from my hotmail account, it'll not delete on my BB.
I'm no longer receiving hotmail emails to my Blackberry. I am able to send hotmail emails from my phone but not receive. My hotmail account is working well via my pc. I'm also receiving emails to my other non-hotmail account on my blackberry.I have been on the phone with my carrier O2 about this over 10 times and they have confirmed its either a Blackberry or Hotmail problem, not an O2 issue.I have tried nearly everything; removed and readded my hotmail account on both the Blackberry Internet Service website (via device browser) and Email Settings on Device, turning phone on/off, host routing table and registering etc..nothing seems to be working.Hotmail have suggested I re-configure the pop3 settings on my phone, but I don't understand how this can be done. I am on a Blackberry Curve 8520 and only just recently bought the phone.
I've had this phone for about a year and have always had issues of not receiving Hotmail emails within a reasonable amount of time. With the GB update it did get a little better but today when I turned on my phone at 7am and it's now 10:30am I have not received any emails. I checked my Hotmail account on a desktop pc and I had 12 emails since last night as recently as 15 minutes ago. I thought GB was supposed to fix this. My battery life is not better if possibly worse with GB. And yes my Droid X does turn back on when I turn it off. Looks like GB may have fixed some things but broke others

When I delete an email on my computer, in Outlook, it does not delete it on my iPhone. However, if I delete an email on my iphone, it will be deleted on my computer's Outlook. When I open an email, in either place, it will show up as read in both. This is whole issue is also taking place with my iPad. I have reset my Outlook on my iPhone several times, yet it is still not sycning.
Recently I have been unable to send messages from my Hotmail account on my BB Torch, the message initially appears to have sent OK then after a few seconds a red cross is displayed and the Message Status changes to General Failure.
I have a gmail email as well as a hotmail email and it has just stopped syncing my hotmail emails even if I toggle sync and click sync now it will not work. Only way it will work is if I remove the account and add it again. Then it will work one time.. I've tried the troubleshooting from Google with no avail.
I cannot read the content in the emails in my hotmail accessed on my Iphone. I can see the sender name and subject line. This is a change from just two days ago. I've synced the phone and I've shut it off and restarted it.
