It's set to delete on Handheld and Mailbox (mailbox wins). When the user deletes the message on the BB, the message deletes in Outlook. When he deletes a message in his Outlook Inbox, it won't delete. The message will finally delete after being deleted from the deleted folder in Outlook, however, it's supposed to delete when cleared from the inbox.

Emails are coming to my phone and outlook, when I view them on my outlook and move them to a Outlook folder they disappear from my phone. It just shows my sent messages. I need to be able to see received messages too!

This is whole issue is also taking place with my iPad. I have reset my Outlook on my iPhone several times, yet it is still not sycning.

When I synchronize my BlackBerry Torch 9800 with Outlook 2010, old items on my calendar disappear from Outlook. Even though these events have passed, I would like to retain them on my calendar as reminders for those dates.
I have tried to find a setting in BlackBerry and in Outlook to stop this from happening, but have been unsuccessful so far.
I have a Pearl 8120 and Outlook 2007. I have been synching between the 2 for about 1 1/2 years without a problem. Today, with no settings changed, I synched and now my phone still has all the calendar appointments, but all but 40 appointments in the Outlook have vanished...those left are in the current month. But also ALL my recurring appointments, even in the current month are gone from Outlook. This has wiped out my history in Outlook completely. Now no matter how I set up the synch parameters, I cannot get the device to send all the appointments back to Outlook. I have updated the device and the desktop software.

When I delete emails from my pc on my old earthlink account (yes, I still use an earthlink account, got too much stuff linked to it still) it doesn't remove them from my Turbo email folder. Not sure if I'm missing a setting or what but my old Droid DNA synced just fine. I'm using the default email app on the phone. I'm tired of seeing a ton of emails on my phone but only having 10 in my inbox via my pc.

I tried to delete a couple items from the note & after a few seconds the items reappeared. Can you not edit a note & save? I do not recall ever having the issue previous to the latest OS.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI use Webmail from Time Warner Cable (RoadRunner) for my e-mail. When I am using my e-mail on my home computer (using the internet to access webmail.wi.rr.com) and delete an item in my inbox, the e-mail still shows up on my phone. Additionally, when I delete an e-mail on my phone, it still shows up in my e-mail on my home computer (using the internet to access webmail.wi.rr.com). Does anyone know why this is happning and how I can get the inboxes to match one another?

I deleted the applications folder on my BlackBerry Torch 9810, and although i still have the applications that were in the folder, the folder is no longer there, so the only way for me to access those applications is through the search.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm using the Bold 9000 with ATT's latest OS, 4.6x. Twice in the last 2 weeks all of my past calendar items - over 1000 - were deleted on my Blackberry. Both times I discovered this when I started a synch with Outlook on my laptop and BB Desktop Software wanted to delete all 1000+ past appts. from Outlook. That would have been a disaster.
This has never happened before and I haven't changed any settings. Calendar is still set to keep all appointments forever.
Is there somewhere else in my Blackberry settings I should be looking to find the source of this problem?
I'm thinking of moving back to BlackBerry - a 9810, but want to know if the following is now working with BIS:
When I deleted an email on my computer from the Gmail website, will it delete from the BlackBerry?
I've had a few BB's in the past and it never worked properly. Sometimes email was deleted from my BB after a few hours but mostly it never deleted the email.
I have maybe 30 deleted items folders on my Curve, and none of them have anything in them, I would like to delete or even hide them. I tried to use the OPtions>E-mail Preferences>Folder Redirection menu, but the deleted Items folders are grayed out.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI plugged my iPhone into my computer, opened it as a camera and, from the iPhone "camera" folder on my computer, I copied all the photos and videos to a folder on my desktop. During the copy I accidentally unplugged my iPhone and got an error message (can't remember what it was). I plugged the iPhone back in, copied the rest of the photos & videos, made sure they were all in the folder on my desktop, then deleted them (again, from the iPhone "camera" folder on my computer).
All the photos and vids transferred fine except one video -- the file shows up but it's 0 KB and nothing plays when I try to open it. Only thing I can think of is the file was corrupted when I unplugged the phone during copy. I checked my computer's recycle bin, and none of the deleted photos or vids were transferred there (or if they were I can't see them).
Is there any way to retrieve this video file?

For some reason, voicemail displays fine, but won't play when I hit the play button. If I move the voicemail to deleted folder, it works fine.

I have a new laptop. My old one, to which my iPhone was synced has been backed up using Time Machine.
On my new one I decided to check out Outlook to see if it could be usedful, I have never used it before. So I opened it up and to my suprise there are some old contacts from years ago and some old emails from an old email account also from years ago, how they got there I didn't/still don't know, so I went ahead and deleted them. Then I discovered, also to my suprise that the notes from my iPhone were there too, not knowing how they got there, I delete them. A few minutes later I open up my iPhone and what!!! all my notes are deleted! I'm guessing now that the two were syncing without me being aware of it through iCloud.
My question is how can I retrieve almost two years worth of important continuously edited notes?

I deleted the backup file while trying to update to 5.1.1. My phone wouldn't update and I read that I needed to delete the previous backup (bad idea). Well after I updated OS I can't backup to get my previous files and contacts. This is horrible and I am lost at this point on what to do. And I haven't been using iCloud.

Is there a way of highlighing all or numbers of emails so blocks of emails can be deleted rather than one by one?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have loads of people in my contacts who have signed up on the day for newsletters/specials etc. When a customer asks to be removed from our distribution list, I always cut their contact details from the mobile and email fields and paste into their notes. This way, when I send out an update to everyone on the list, the contact doesn't receive it but I still have their details if they need me to contact them personally. I do this cut and paste on my 5s (OS up to date), on Outlook 2013 (Windows 8.1) and iCloud.Â
The problem I've been having lately is that when I sync my iPhone with iTunes (up to date), it somehow puts the more recent contacts' phone number and email back into the fields on both iPhone and Outlook. I have been doing this for a long time and have quite a few regular customers who opted out a while ago. Their fields are empty and their contact details are in their notes.
