BB Torch :: Old Items Deleted From Outlook Calendar?
May 26, 2011When I synchronize my BlackBerry Torch 9800 with Outlook 2010, old items on my calendar disappear from Outlook. Even though these events have passed, I would like to retain them on my calendar as reminders for those dates.
I have tried to find a setting in BlackBerry and in Outlook to stop this from happening, but have been unsuccessful so far.

Mar 28, 2012Is there a trash can. I can retrieve deleted items ?! I was moving pic's from its original folder to a "new titled folder", after doing that I returned to original folder and started deleted the pic's I had moved. Not knowing it would delete them from everywhere. I'm so upset that they are gone. I lost 9 weeks of work!

IPhone :: Recover A Deleted Backup File Once I Deleted It Through ITunes?
Jun 29, 2012I deleted the backup file while trying to update to 5.1.1. My phone wouldn't update and I read that I needed to delete the previous backup (bad idea). Well after I updated OS I can't backup to get my previous files and contacts. This is horrible and I am lost at this point on what to do. And I haven't been using iCloud.

I did not have any backup.Â
From what I have read, it is possible to recover the photos (ie, "don't use the iphone so the data is overwritten") but I have zero idea how to do that.Â

BB Bold 9000 :: Calendar Items Deleted
Jan 12, 2010I'm using the Bold 9000 with ATT's latest OS, 4.6x. Twice in the last 2 weeks all of my past calendar items - over 1000 - were deleted on my Blackberry. Both times I discovered this when I started a synch with Outlook on my laptop and BB Desktop Software wanted to delete all 1000+ past appts. from Outlook. That would have been a disaster.
This has never happened before and I haven't changed any settings. Calendar is still set to keep all appointments forever.
Is there somewhere else in my Blackberry settings I should be looking to find the source of this problem?
IPhone :: Deleted Items Reappear In Notes?
Jul 15, 2010I made a list of things I needed to get at the store in the notes app on my iPhone 4. I tried to delete a couple items from the note & after a few seconds the items reappeared. Can you not edit a note & save? I do not recall ever having the issue previous to the latest OS.

Feb 2, 2010I have a Pearl 8120 and Outlook 2007. I have been synching between the 2 for about 1 1/2 years without a problem. Today, with no settings changed, I synched and now my phone still has all the calendar appointments, but all but 40 appointments in the Outlook have vanished...those left are in the current month. But also ALL my recurring appointments, even in the current month are gone from Outlook. This has wiped out my history in Outlook completely. Now no matter how I set up the synch parameters, I cannot get the device to send all the appointments back to Outlook. I have updated the device and the desktop software.

Additionally, when I delete an e-mail on my phone, it still shows up in my e-mail on my home computer (using the internet to access webmail.wi.rr.com). Does anyone know why this is happning and how I can get the inboxes to match one another?

Sep 15, 2010It's set to delete on Handheld and Mailbox (mailbox wins). When the user deletes the message on the BB, the message deletes in Outlook. When he deletes a message in his Outlook Inbox, it won't delete. The message will finally delete after being deleted from the deleted folder in Outlook, however, it's supposed to delete when cleared from the inbox.

When I downloaded ZAR 9.1 it showed my memory card as being emptied. I then tried the software1 and it showed my memory card being emptied as well. May 30, 2014I took over 30 photo's and 30 minutes of video today at my sons awards at school. I had sync turned off, all programs, Google, Dropbox, etc. I haven't rooted my HTC One M8 yet, so there's no other back up program running. I created a album in my gallery and copied the photos and video over to the album, the first option that pops up is to store them in "phone storage" I hit phone storage before I realized what I'd done. I didn't move them, I copied them. I went to Google photos and hit sync, then went back to the phones gallery, I had 2 copies of the photos and video, one set in the album I created and the other copy was on the camera. I was in a hurry when I did all of this. Normally when I create a album I move the pictures, not copy.
I went to Google photos and saw all the pics and video uploading, went back to the gallery and deleted the copy under the camera setting. The album I created is gone as well. Is there any way at all possible to retrieve them or are they completely deleted? I've sat here and repeated the exact same process with photos that are already backed up on Google and when I delete them from the camera they still appear in the album I created on the phone itself. I've created albums several times in the past and hit "copy" instead of "move", then go back and delete the copy under from the camera. I have Root Explorer installed and can't find them anywhere, I hooked my phone to my laptop and with no luck. if there's any way at all to get these photos back. it just made me sick to my stomach when I saw that I'd deleted the pics.

I need these files for a custody battle and cannot find any way to recover the deleted files. The files were stored on the device, not the sd card.
