I have maybe 30 deleted items folders on my Curve, and none of them have anything in them, I would like to delete or even hide them. I tried to use the OPtions>E-mail Preferences>Folder Redirection menu, but the deleted Items folders are grayed out.

I have my work email self sort using rules so that messages from certain people (ie the Boss) go into their own inbox, so they don't get missed. However, only the mail from the main mailbox is getting pushed to my iPhone, not the mail from the Boss folder.
I've gone into the Exchange account settings on my iPhone and I have set the inbox, plus 4 other folders to be pushed. However, only the inbox is getting pushed. FWIW, here's the rule: After the message arrives, move messages from BOSS to BOSS folder.

I have an annoyance I wish to get fixed. When I am sending an email through the browser, not the blackberry's integrated email function, after the message is sent, the recipient recieves 10-20 messages. I sent an email to my work boss and he recieved 110 copies of the exact same email. YES, I only hit send once. This occurs with outlook express online, using two different email accounts from two different websites.
I tested this out again just now, and sure enough, I got 12 copies of my test email to my personal account. My phone was telling me I have all 5 connectivity bars when I sent the message.If I were to guess, this would be a connectivity issue or maybe something involving my wireless carrier, but I figured here would be a good place to start

How do I see my sent box, inbox etc. All I see on the home screen is in the top left corner an envelope I can press to compile a text message. Where is my inbox, sent box etc? Also how do I delete a draft message? Can't see a delete option anywhere?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm using the Bold 9000 with ATT's latest OS, 4.6x. Twice in the last 2 weeks all of my past calendar items - over 1000 - were deleted on my Blackberry. Both times I discovered this when I started a synch with Outlook on my laptop and BB Desktop Software wanted to delete all 1000+ past appts. from Outlook. That would have been a disaster.
This has never happened before and I haven't changed any settings. Calendar is still set to keep all appointments forever.
Is there somewhere else in my Blackberry settings I should be looking to find the source of this problem?

I've had a few BB's in the past and it never worked properly. Sometimes email was deleted from my BB after a few hours but mostly it never deleted the email.
When I synchronize my BlackBerry Torch 9800 with Outlook 2010, old items on my calendar disappear from Outlook. Even though these events have passed, I would like to retain them on my calendar as reminders for those dates.
I have tried to find a setting in BlackBerry and in Outlook to stop this from happening, but have been unsuccessful so far.
I made a list of things I needed to get at the store in the notes app on my iPhone 4. I tried to delete a couple items from the note & after a few seconds the items reappeared. Can you not edit a note & save? I do not recall ever having the issue previous to the latest OS.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a Pearl 8120 and Outlook 2007. I have been synching between the 2 for about 1 1/2 years without a problem. Today, with no settings changed, I synched and now my phone still has all the calendar appointments, but all but 40 appointments in the Outlook have vanished...those left are in the current month. But also ALL my recurring appointments, even in the current month are gone from Outlook. This has wiped out my history in Outlook completely. Now no matter how I set up the synch parameters, I cannot get the device to send all the appointments back to Outlook. I have updated the device and the desktop software.

When I am using my e-mail on my home computer (using the internet to access webmail.wi.rr.com) and delete an item in my inbox, the e-mail still shows up on my phone. Additionally, when I delete an e-mail on my phone, it still shows up in my e-mail on my home computer (using the internet to access webmail.wi.rr.com). Does anyone know why this is happning and how I can get the inboxes to match one another?

It's set to delete on Handheld and Mailbox (mailbox wins). When the user deletes the message on the BB, the message deletes in Outlook. When he deletes a message in his Outlook Inbox, it won't delete. The message will finally delete after being deleted from the deleted folder in Outlook, however, it's supposed to delete when cleared from the inbox.

View 6 Replies View RelatedMy office email uses Outlook but not Blackberry Enterprise Server. My phone (Bold 9000) has folders for Inbox, Contact and Calendar, but NOT Sent or Deleted folders. Messages sent from phone can only be seen on phones's Inbox (mixed with received messages). The Sent folder in Outlook is updated only after phone has been synchronized with desktop. It does not update wirelessly.Messages sent from Outlook of course appear in Outlook Sent folder. But the phone does not show any Sent folder. The "View Folder" menu item in the Message folder lists many folders (Inbox, MMS Inbox, MMS outbox, Visual Voice Mail, etc. The Outlook Sent folder is simply unavailable and I cannot find any way to make it appear.Others using this phone with BES seem able to see Sent folder. I do not want to send copies to myself, I get enough emails already. Is there a solution to this problem without installing BES or switching to iPhone?

I wanted to clear out my memory stick and unfortunately in a moment of complete distraction I deleted all my folders off my BB! I could kick myself!! So now when I connect my BB to my pc all the folders appear as shortcuts and are only 1KB in size. I can take pictures but it does not save them, I cant take videos or voicenotes at all. I cant copy and paste anything into them. If the folders now appear as shortcuts surely the original folder can be restored? My contacts, email and IM settings remain the same - Its just the "Media" I am having a problem with! When I called our service provider I was told that I needed a new memory card and that will restore all the settings. That does not make sense to me.

Basically on E72, I had messages in inbox, my folders and sent section. Once I restarted phone and then phone froze. I felt the problem was due to Vlingo application, because I pressed home button to see which applications were open that were casuing the freezing. So I restarted the phone and all messages were deleted. However my messages were saved as a backup on another memory card. So I only lost a couple of texts. But the same, exactly same problem happened yesterday. Now all texts on both memory cards have been deleted. I have now disabled vlingo to open on start up.
1. The only backup I have now is a pc suite backup of texts, as an .nbu file which I can restore using pc suite or ovi suite. However after I restore, the messaging application does not open and I have to restart phone. Also the texts inside "my folder" do not appear, only in my inbox and sent. Is there any way, of getting all the texts to appear including my folder texts?
2. Obviously the above solution doesnt give me all my texts back, so is there any chance of restoring the texts, from the memory cards even though it doesnt work when I insert it inside the E72. Im hoping by restoring old data inside the memory card by opening it on the laptop or something?
3. I heard, that texts do not get deleted at all, but just blocked, so anyone know if I can unblock them?
4. Or can my network provider send me texts, that I have recieved and sent over last couple of months.
I'm missing the "deleted items" email folder after I did a factory reset on an Nokia C7 Astound.
View 11 Replies View RelatedI just opened the Market to see whether any apps of mine needed updating and "My apps" shows that I have only 7 apps installed--and that doesn't include Gmail, Google Voice, Google Search, etc. I realize that this may be unrelated to Motorola or the Droid X, but you never know. Just thought I'd ask to see if anyone else is noticing this. Perhaps Google is in the process of updating the Android Market?

However, the dates of some items (created in Outlook) are not consistent between Outlook and the Blackberry. For example, for this Friday 28 October, I have an all day appointment and it appears correctly in Outlook. On my Blackberry, the same appointment is dated Thursday 27 October and appears on both Thursday and Friday.
