Jun 25, 2010Yesterday, my Incredible started behaving strangely- First- when i was driving to an appointment, it turned itself off and reset itself. When it rebooted, all my settings (Home wallpaper, widgets, shortcuts) were gone. My contact shortcut page was OK, but other setting wiped.
Today, i am deleting emails from my POP3 account, and after I delete many emails, i return to my home screen. Then i can return to my email account and the same deleted emails are back! I powered the phone off, and powered it on, now my wallpaper is back to default.

May 17, 2012When I delete an email on my computer, in Outlook, it does not delete it on my iPhone. However, if I delete an email on my iphone, it will be deleted on my computer's Outlook. When I open an email, in either place, it will show up as read in both. This is whole issue is also taking place with my iPad. I have reset my Outlook on my iPhone several times, yet it is still not sycning.

My phone works fine for my other email address which is an Exchange server...When I delete an email from my phone in Exchange server ( other email address) I can watch it being removed from my computer. IPhone :: Spotlight On 4 Showing Deleted Emails?
May 7, 2012When I use spotlight for various searches, it shows email messages which I have already deleted. Although when you select them it takes you to the folder the message was originally stored in, but the message is not there.
The messages are not in any trash folder or deleted messages folder either on the iphone itself or on the server. It doesn't seem to matter whether it's a POP account or IMAP account.
There are also a number of messages which can be read - these seem to be ones that I have written or started to write, but not actually sent (could have been saved as a draft - but again nothing in the draft folders). You get taken to and can read the full email from being selected in spotlight, but is not stored anywhere in my mail folders. I'm running the latest version of iOS 5.1.
Is there anyway to either reset the spotlight cache, or delete the cache to remove all these "deleted" emails from spotlight. I have searched many forums, but to no avail.
