Aug 13, 2012I cannot find a setting that allows me to keep my text messages from being broken into many individual messages. The same happens to messages I receive. A single message may be broken up into seven or eight individual messages, which most often are not even in the proper order when received, or sent. Most text messages on other phones are one block.

Aug 18, 2010Is it possible to move messages from the sent folder to other folders within Mail for Exchange. My company uses Exchange 2007 and sometimes I reply to queries from my N900. However although the N900 does synchronize the sent items folder from Exchange 2007 any outgoing messages are stored in the Sent folder. Therefore any messages I send from the phone are not synchronized back to my desktop Outlook. The only way round this I have found is by bcc'ing myself on all messages which does get quite tedious.
I have tried creating a mobile sent folder in Outlook which then synchronizes to the phone. However when I try moving a message on the phone from the Sent folder to the Mobile sent folder I get an error message "Unable to move to current location."

Feb 12, 2012I get the belle update yesterday(11/2/12) on my C6-01. And I feel that my phone goes comparatively slow than anna,so I decided to move my messages(over 3,000) to pc. But everytime I completed it,it only deletes 100 sms from my inbox(it shows that 'you have free spaces by 290mb' but nothing happens). I have tried hitting 'move messages later than 2 weeks and 1 month' but nothing works.

Apr 15, 2010My phone (a nokia e52) is getting quite low on memory so I want to move my messages to the microSD card. I had, however played with this setting when I first got the phone. Because of this, when I now select the microSD card as the location for messages, the SMS/mms messages received since I first changed that setting are not transferred to the memory card. Does anyone know how to transfer these newer messages? I have tried creating a new folder, moving messages there and then changing the location setting but the new folder and its contacts did not transfer to the memory card.

Jan 2, 2010I have a 2 year old 8320 with about 1000 saved messages on it that i need to print up. The problem that I am having is the messages that were sent to my tmo.blackberry email address that are saved to my phone I cannot find to save to a computer. I have tried forwarding the saved messages to another email address but when I do I get a red "X" and it says "Unlisted message error". Any help would be appreciated, I am going through a nasty divorce and I need all of these messages for court.

Mar 17, 2012A hard reset (remove the battery while the BB is on) seems to have worked. I say seemed since it has been reported on this board that it may return when the "service books" are updated...I'm new to BBs. I just purchased it today and against my better judgment installed FAcebook (FB). After getting a deluge of mindless drivel pushed to my new BB I decided FB was not coming near my BB again.So I found the icon - menu - delete. I restart the BB as instructed and to my surprise the icon is still there.I tried to move the icon into a folder but I don't know how to move it because the menu button does nothing when I select the icon and press menu.
And there are some FB messages too. I deleted the FB messages - when I check my messages it reports I have no messages in FB ... BUT there is a little FB icon at the top of the screen showing one message. This one message seems to be relic but I have no idea how to reset or delete it.I also tried the BB desktop software. It shows that it is uninstalled. There appears to be no way of deleting icon, moving the icon, or deleting the FB message indicator either.

Aug 7, 2011When I click on any email icon and the Text icon nothing happens. Whereas in the past (like even early this afternoon) I would be able to see emails or texts - or if no email or texts it would say 'No messages' - I cannot open either emails or text and therefore cannot create, read, or anything else. The scroll button is inop after clicking on email or text and I must it the exit button to regain control of the scroll button.

Apr 17, 2011After finally convincing my new Style to sync with my BES service (had to sync with a NEXTEL device twice before the BES server caught a clue), the Desktop mail account chimes with Sanguine Remix when new messages arrive, at the default volume of the selected profile. I've tried changing the playback sound for all obvious notifications in the selected Profile away from Sanguine Remix and the sound played back as Sanguine Remix isn't associated any longer to any of the Profile's options.Any ideas where the sound notification can be changed for the Desktop (BES synched) account? Right now I have to mute all ringers (Silent sound Profile) in order for it not interrupt my sleep. I get hundreds of alerts every day and even with Exchange rules marking messages as read and moving them to a specific folder other than the inbox, BES is catching a small percentage before Exchange marks them as read, and doing what BES does best, forwarding the messages to my phone.
Neither my hotmail nor gmail accounts have this problem since they have an option in profiles and I have configured them to remain quiet.Under Messages-Notifiers for selected Profile:Email: gmailEmail: hotmail Level 1PINtext MessagesVisual voice mail I am going to try Phone Calls Only and edit It to include Text Messages. When accessing email setup, every time it gives the following message "A new BB device has been detected. You must move your email account(s) to receive email on this device. To move an email account, you will need to type the email account password. At least one email account must be moved to set up email on this device". After typing in all passwords, they are verified, but the moment I return to setup, it's the same - if accessing email setup again, it's the same message and no emails coming in.

Jul 19, 2011I have two email accounts on my 9670, one for my son and one that is mine. My son's receives and sends messages fine. The other day, after having both email accounts on my phone for several months, mine will no longer send/receive messages. When I try to send something it says my account is invalid. I went to the setup and clicked on the icon for email messages, that took me to the screen that allows you to choose from internet mail or the blackberry enterprise mail. I highlighted the internet mail but it will not open when I click on it, it does not respond at all. The accounts is a yahoo account and it is still accessible from my other computers. I have tried taking out the battery and restarting and that doesn't help.
