It started happening day before yesterday. All of a sudden I stop receiving messages from the person I am talking to. I have all of my service and coverage indicators so I am baffled as to why this is happening.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am able to sign into my yahoo messenger and it will typically send and receive messages right away after sign in, but then messenger will stop sending or receiving messages even though I am signed in. How can I fix this or is it a issue with all blackberrys because this has happened on the both of the blackberry curves that I have used. I use messenger with some of my family from Canada and then it uses my data. If I texted them it is international texting and therefore costs per text.

I have a yahoo email account that is forwarded to the blackberry device.My carrier is AT&T. I tried taking out the SIM card, taking out the battery etc. but nothing seems to be working. For instance I just sent a message to myself from my device it never showed up but when I logged in the yahoo mail acct from my lap top it is there.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have installed the Yahoo mail ndroid app and the e-mail is good. However I can only get instant e-mail notifivations when on wifi. I can pick up emails on 3G but only by opening up the inbox. The emails still do not show up as notifications. No reply so far from Yahoo technical help.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI finally got around to setting up Mac Mail on my iMac today. My primary e-mail account is an @yahoo.com address. After setting up yahoo on the Mac Mail program, my iMac and iPad can receive new yahoo e-mails when they check for mail, but my iPhone not only isn't receiving yahoo mail when it checks for them, it will not fetch new e-mail either when I manually tell it check for e-mails. The only way it has received any of the new e-mails is after I shut down the phone and rebooted it. Again, everything was working fine until I set up Mac Mail today.

View 8 Replies View RelatedFor some reason when trying to use either the AOL IM or Google Chat client, the phone doesn't make any audio notifications of new messages in a conversation. I've made sure that under more/settings play sound on new messages and vibrate on new messages are checked, but the phone doesn't do that.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a Curve 8900 running v4.6.1.231...I am on an Enterprise Data plan, with emails synched up to both my office outlook email, and my personal yahoo email. At around 11:30 yesterday, my yahoo email stopped sending/receiving/synching with my BB, but my office outlook email is working fine.
I tried to go into Email setup with the setup wizard, to see if maybe I had to delete and re-add my yahoo email account, but after about 60 seconds with a load message "connecting to email settings" I got a message that said "Your devide had a problem connecting to the server" with retry and cancel button - I retried with no avail.Not the most tech savvy person here, but was wondering if this is a problem on my end? Or something on the BB side?
Is there a way to delete multiple email messages at one time?

He doesn't have this issue with any other person. Nor do I ever have an issue with my texts not showing up for anyone else. Is there some compatibility problem between EVO/BlackBerry?

I have gone to 3 sites for free ringtones have sent the ring tones to my phone, I have not received anything. Whereas in the past (like even early this afternoon) I would be able to see emails or texts - or if no email or texts it would say 'No messages' - I cannot open either emails or text and therefore cannot create, read, or anything else. The scroll button is inop after clicking on email or text and I must it the exit button to regain control of the scroll button.
View 3 Replies View RelatedAfter finally convincing my new Style to sync with my BES service (had to sync with a NEXTEL device twice before the BES server caught a clue), the Desktop mail account chimes with Sanguine Remix when new messages arrive, at the default volume of the selected profile. I've tried changing the playback sound for all obvious notifications in the selected Profile away from Sanguine Remix and the sound played back as Sanguine Remix isn't associated any longer to any of the Profile's options.Any ideas where the sound notification can be changed for the Desktop (BES synched) account? Right now I have to mute all ringers (Silent sound Profile) in order for it not interrupt my sleep. I get hundreds of alerts every day and even with Exchange rules marking messages as read and moving them to a specific folder other than the inbox, BES is catching a small percentage before Exchange marks them as read, and doing what BES does best, forwarding the messages to my phone.
Neither my hotmail nor gmail accounts have this problem since they have an option in profiles and I have configured them to remain quiet.Under Messages-Notifiers for selected Profile:Email: gmailEmail: hotmail Level 1PINtext MessagesVisual voice mail I am going to try Phone Calls Only and edit It to include Text Messages. I need to have a Sprint BB Style 9670 unlocked to use on Canadian CDMA networks. It doesn't have a SIM card. Anyone have this problem or can point me to the proper way to unlock it? I chatted with Sprint but they don't want to do anything.
