I don't receive offline message in Yahoo Instant messenger. I can chat, but if someone send a message while i'm signed out - I never get it. Only happens while using the messenger app on my blackberry. Contact Pics don't update either.

It started happening day before yesterday. All of a sudden I stop receiving messages from the person I am talking to. I have all of my service and coverage indicators so I am baffled as to why this is happening.

I can pick up emails on 3G but only by opening up the inbox. The emails still do not show up as notifications. No reply so far from Yahoo technical help.

I have a yahoo email account that is forwarded to the blackberry device.My carrier is AT&T. I tried taking out the SIM card, taking out the battery etc. but nothing seems to be working. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Curve 8900 running v4.6.1.231...I am on an Enterprise Data plan, with emails synched up to both my office outlook email, and my personal yahoo email. At around 11:30 yesterday, my yahoo email stopped sending/receiving/synching with my BB, but my office outlook email is working fine.
I tried to go into Email setup with the setup wizard, to see if maybe I had to delete and re-add my yahoo email account, but after about 60 seconds with a load message "connecting to email settings" I got a message that said "Your devide had a problem connecting to the server" with retry and cancel button - I retried with no avail.Not the most tech savvy person here, but was wondering if this is a problem on my end? Or something on the BB side?
On bbm I keep getting an incoming bbm instant message alert/sound while im typing a message. The alert/sound only appears for incoming bbm messages when I'm typing on bbm. the alert/sound is different than the sound that I set on the profile menu and the volume is much bigger. Can I deactivate this alert/sound?

The apps work fine, but as soon as i hit the "apple" button (or whatever it is called, the one at the bottom) to get to the "desktop" of my phone and I or the phone shuts down the screen it logs off my apps, which means that I cannot get people to write me whenever I am not sitting staring at the app.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI tried to delete the instant message folder from the bb. the folder disappeared but the icons leading me to yahoo messenger and google talk are now locked onto my home screen. you can only opn them. no option for delete or move. i just want them to disappear so i can out my most used icons up there.

My BBM was working fine before the number was transferred accross, but now if I send a message, a tick appears to say its been sent, but there is no 'D' to say delivered, and the recipient doesn't recieve it.
Are there any phone numbers or email addresses I could use to talk to someone about this? Or are these forums the only way to get support?
When receiving an IM an alert sound plays. Is there a way to reduce the sound level, turn it off, or have it vibrate?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI finally got around to setting up Mac Mail on my iMac today. My primary e-mail account is an @yahoo.com address. After setting up yahoo on the Mac Mail program, my iMac and iPad can receive new yahoo e-mails when they check for mail, but my iPhone not only isn't receiving yahoo mail when it checks for them, it will not fetch new e-mail either when I manually tell it check for e-mails. The only way it has received any of the new e-mails is after I shut down the phone and rebooted it. Again, everything was working fine until I set up Mac Mail today.

Yahoo Messenger has been installed and use for long time in my 9300. Somehow, in past 2 weeks, I could not login to Yahoo, Yahoo Mail or Yahoo Messenger.
Everytime lgoin to yahoo web, mail or messenger always giving me Username and password is invalid. But for Pop-up mail with Yahoo still working and fine
Several trial has been done in the device, like:
- Re-install Yahoo Messenger
- Uncheck item"Remeber my ID..."
- Trial with several account
With PC Login:
- Through yahoo website account and delete all web related connection
- Login with PC desktop with all the account not any issue and can login perfectly
Of course, regular ceremony by reset, remove battery has been doing as well
Just a quick question,with fetch turned off and push turned off. Why am i still getting yahoo emails pushed to my iphone,still getting email alerts while the phone is sitting there. Thankssss
View 8 Replies View RelatedI am able to sign into my yahoo messenger and it will typically send and receive messages right away after sign in, but then messenger will stop sending or receiving messages even though I am signed in. How can I fix this or is it a issue with all blackberrys because this has happened on the both of the blackberry curves that I have used. I use messenger with some of my family from Canada and then it uses my data. If I texted them it is international texting and therefore costs per text.

Now, the main problem is the sound notifications for the messenger.
In "BlackBerry Messenger Alert" I set "out of holster" to 'tone' and the volume to 'medium'. And, in:
"BlackBerry Messenger New Message" - The same.
When i recieve the INITIAL chat request, my phone makes the sound ive set. Once in the messenger chatting i still get the notification sounds.
I have tried all manner of different setting from muting, and setting 'tone' to 'none'; both in holster and out of holster.
Basically, i want my phone to notify me of the initial/new message, but NOT beep/sound during the actual conversation.
i've got problem with my bb connecting through a wifi cos am in a foreign country and they network service don't support black berry but i have a wifi connection but i can't connect my mail and my instanst messenger.
