I have a Curve 8330 and want to keep my outlook and Yahoo email separate. Is there a way to keep the yahoo emails form showing in my Main Message List?

I accidentally saved a bunch of messages that I want to move back to the main message folder, but I can't see a way to move even 1 message back, let alone doing a group move.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI used to be able to see a combined list of my emails, SMS texts, missed phone calls, voicemails and just about anything else when I opened the Message folder icon on my Blackberry Curve 8330 desktop, but now when I open it, all I get is a blank white screen. When I hit the menu button, the menu pops up without a problem and if I click the track ball, it will open a message, but I can't see the list itself.Also, when I go to view folder I can access any of the individual folders and they come up just fine. The only problem is the combined message list you're supposed to get when you open up the icon on the desktop (or application menu).

Every so often, I check Outlook and notice e-mails that were never received on my Blackberry.Here's what I know:
1) the problem only rarely occurs, so I can't recreate it for others to see
3) a user can send me dozens of e-mails without a problem, then inexplicably one will go missing (so it isn't a single user issue)
4) carrier is Verizon they claim it is Yahoo's issue, because no other e-mails are effected (I use Yahoo Small Business e-mail)
5) Yahoo claims it is not their issue since e-mails are being received in Outlook
6) Outlook is configured to leave all of my messages on the server (it is a pop3 account if that matters)
7) The e-mails are not being received into Spam or any other folder
Here's what I've done (in no particular order):
1) hard reset
2) resent service books
3) added and deleted my e-mail account
4) checked all of my settings
5) re-registered with Verizon
6) threw a tantrum
7) screamed wildly at my co-workers for no reason
8) drank a few beers
9) broke up with my girlfriend
10) took a nap
I have a curve 8300 which used to be connected to my mobile account through my former employers BES which worked perfectly. I have now left the company so have switched it from BES to BIS using the same mobile service provider. Emails are not synchronizing properly between handheld and laptop and I am told by mobile service provider that this is likely due to the 'email settings' not being set up correctly on my handheld. The problem is that most of the fields that should be appearing under options/email settings on my handheld are missing. The device software has been wiped and reinstalled but problem remains. Any ideas on why I am missing some of the fields and how I can get them?

Is there a way to list ONLY emails in the Messages screen? I don't want to see Twitter alerts or call log info, JUST emails.Also, is there way a to check for emails manually? When I am home, I don't care about getting the emails on my phone so I want to be able to set how often it checks.

It gave up the ghost a couple of years ago for some unknown reason and there were not fixes available according to IT.Anyway, I connect the device but do not find applications that will work. No ali or alx files to be found. The whole reason I went to this phone was because it was supposed to work with Outlook from what I understood, and get email.

The Problem:
Please provide step by step instructions from start to finish on how to transfer my organizer data from my Blackberry (BB) device to Outlook on my PC without losing my BB data. I define organizer data as Calendar, Contacts, tasks and memos. I am not referring to email in this problem.
History:
I have been a BB user synchronizing my organizer data between my BB and Outlook on my laptop for a year. Then my hard drive crashed on my laptop and I lost all of my laptop's Outlook organizer data including calendar, contacts, tasks and memos. But luckily, I have my BB organizer data (calendar, contacts, tasks, memos) from my last sync before the hard drive crashed, as well as, some new additional entries on my BB. So the BB data is good, and the laptop's data is gone and Outlook is empty.
Currently:
I now have a new hard drive in my laptop recently loaded with Outlook from a CD. Outlook has no data in it and is empty. I want to transfer my BB device's organizer data to my laptop (Outlook). BB data ---> laptop [Not the other way around]. I have just loaded on my laptop the Blackberry Desktop Manager from the CD. I have not set any settings and have not done any synchronization yet because I fear that I may accidentally wipe out (lose) my data on my BB because the data transfer went the wrong direction. I need your help. What settings do I need to set up before the first synchronization occurs?I am very nervous because I want the BB device data to over write the laptop data on this first sync. If I screw up and do this synchronization the wrong way, I will end up with no data on my BB or my laptop and have lost years of contacts and calendar data, etc.BTW: I use the BB Desktop Manager with a USB cable to do the synchronization between the BB device and Outlook on laptop.I am a new user to the setup process and would really appreciate a detailed step by step approach from start to finish to solve this issue. after the first sync above (when the correct BB device data is on the laptop), do I change the conflict resolutions options to something else or just leave them? I tend to use my BB more (by 98%) over the laptop for calendar, contact, etc. entries. I want the BB device to be the "master" and the laptop be the "slave" BUT most importantly I want any change I make on the laptop to be immediately transferred to my BB device and also the other way around when I sync. Any thoughts? Or is this just confusing the matter.
How do I establish two separate email folders for different email addresses, work and school for instance and have the replies from each folder come from that specific address?

If Blackberry wants to squirrel away my data in Outlook, I guess I can't do anything about that. At least it is somewhere. But why is Desktop Manager incapable of locating Outlook unless it is set as default email? I'm about tired of setting it just to sync my calendar and then resetting it when I am done.

I have managed to set up several email accounts by simply going into the 'email" option in the "messaging" menu, but I can't set the phone to check for emails automatically or to notify me of new emails, etc, etc, in other words, I have no menu option, for adjusting the settings for emails. I have an 8310 that has been syncing just fine wtih my MC Outlook 2007 calendar (on XP SP3) - until the last week. I have changed nothing that I know of - other than a month+ ago, updated the BB device to the current, but it was still working fine after that upgrade.Last week my entries that I had in my outlook synced to my BB, but were then delted from outllook and I can not get them to sync back to outlook. The Problem: How do I reconfigure the sync setting on a "grayed-out" Desktop Manager (DTM) v5.0.1? But please read on...when I updated my DTM from v4.3.0 to 5.0.1 I think I was asked how I wanted to set up my sync. I accidentally set up the sync guidelines to sync upon connection and my old settings on my previous DTM (v4.3.0) had a sync that went both ways. But what I really want to do is to reconfigure my sync settings to "One Way Sync FROM device¯ (BB data --> laptop). I need to do this because all my data is on my BB device and is not on my laptop due to a hard drive crash on my laptop. I will lose years of data if I do not sync in the proper direction. On the "grayed-out" DTM I cannot click on anything to change the sync settings. I just keep getting the DTM message, "Before you begin, verify that your current BlackBerry device is connected to your computer". But if I connect my BB device with the computer, I am afraid the sync may not go in the correct direction that I require and I will lose my data. I am a new user to the setup process and would really appreciate a step-by-step approach from start to finish to solve this issue. Your suggestions will be most appreciated and I thank you in advance.
I have recently bought a Blackberry Curve 8520.My problem is connecting to yahoo calendar/ task list/memo pad/ address book.Each time I try to synchronize I get back the message "connection to the yahoo server was lost".I am using the latest version of the yahoo and blackberry software. View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm unable to read individual emails when using the Outlook Web Access site in the internet browser window.I am using this to check work email and would rather do it this way (over the internet) than using the e-mail client that is part of the device. I'm able to log-in to my inbox and see everything I should see, however when I try clicking on an individual email to read it, nothing happens. I've tried clicking on the sender's name, the subject line and everything else on the line for that email. When I do that nothing happens.Am I doing this wrong? When I connect my device and try to see the media using the music, pictures, or video buttons on the desktop manager it says I need to turn on mass storage mode however when I check the device settings under options/media card/ the settings are as follows:

I put a new sim card in, but is still asking for the password. We tried 4 different ones. On the 5th it warns you that your program will be deleted. We haven't tried the 5th password. It we do will it erase information in the sim card?

My previous one, when I first bought it, had separate folders for e-mails and SMS/MMS messages, but when I first started using the new one, they have been combined into one folder and I cannot figure out how to separate them.
