View 6 Replies View RelatedI am getting my sound alerts for incoming email from my Gmail account. Yet, when I go to read it, it's not there. I've checked other folders. I've done a hard reboot.
View 8 Replies View RelatedWhen I send an email from BB and the person on other side replies the to field shows just my email address instead of name with email address. At first I thought it was because they didn't have me as a contact but that wasn't it.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI hope someone can help me. My integrated message folder is missing. Can you please help me put it back on? It is the folder that is default with BB that houses all of your messages, but more importantly receives my messages from my main account (work) with BB.
View 4 Replies View Relatedi was connecting my 8310 to my pc using the usb cable, and when was displayed the pop-up alert on the phone, to allow the memory card connection, I selected the flag to avoid the repetition of the question, but, unluckly, I selected the "No" option and not the "Yes" option: a very stupid type mistake. So, now, Desktop Manager can't connect with that computer, cause the 8310 has stored the option that it hasn't to connect and never ask it again. Is there any way to restore the pop up message to allow the pc to connect by USB?I tryed to restore the default option for the firewall, but the situation didin't change.
View 3 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone know if it is possible to archive text messages to your PC and be able to read them from the PC? I have a LOT of text messages and it is slowing down retrieval on the phone.I need to download the messages to my PC, but not in the IPD format.I would like to either download them into a spreadsheet format or just a straight word doc that can be easily accessed.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've had two Blackberry, but I'm new to the community. I traded my Pearl for the Curve 8330 a couple of days ago. The new message icon is constantly showing up. It started with three, then four, and now six. I have read several forums and have tried pulling my battery several times. I have even deleted my e-mail account and set it up again. I have gone into all my folders to see if there is a message hiding somewhere. I can't find anything. Has anyone else had this problem? Aside from doing a factory restore and/or calling Verizon does anyone have any suggestions on how I can reset the counter? By the way, my carrier is Verizon!

The following 1 records where skipped: Address Book -0, Microsoft Outlook -1 Do you want to view the synchronization log for more details?" The sync log doesn't give me any clue, apparently thereīs no big deal, but it generates the error and I also canīt sync with splash ID
View 5 Replies View RelatedThe message is 'this is a wi fi only service'.I have set up as 'wifi preferred' and that is fine in the office or at home, but outside wifi areas the berry will not connect to the internet and gives that error message.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI used to be able to see a combined list of my emails, SMS texts, missed phone calls, voicemails and just about anything else when I opened the Message folder icon on my Blackberry Curve 8330 desktop, but now when I open it, all I get is a blank white screen. When I hit the menu button, the menu pops up without a problem and if I click the track ball, it will open a message, but I can't see the list itself. Also, when I go to view folder I can access any of the individual folders and they come up just fine. The only problem is the combined message list you're supposed to get when you open up the icon on the desktop (or application menu).

I have a Blackberry Curve through Verizon Wireless. Everytime I send an email from my phone using my registered Yahoo account, it sits in my "messages" section, but never sends the email. I have tried a hard reboot, and I have made sure the phone is registered with the network, but I am getting NO WHERE.

I want to add a new email-acount to my Blackberry 8310. Following the instructions I did it with the installation wizard. I found the option "installing email". Pressing these, I only can choose the options:
1. 'I want to install an account with the BB Enterprise Server' and
2. 'I want to quit with installing email'.The option 'I want to create or add a new account' doesn't appear. Does anyone know how to resolve this and how I could add a new email account?
I accidentally saved a bunch of messages that I want to move back to the main message folder, but I can't see a way to move even 1 message back, let alone doing a group move.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI recieved my Curve 8520 6 days ago and I am still waiting on my service provider contacting me about the Blackberry Tariff HOWEVER when setting up my phone using the Wizard Setup I did not have two options for the email setup, only Enterprise Email Activation...I have never had one, this is my first Blackberry. How do I apply the other option of Add An Email Address? Or does this mean that the phone has been used by someone else (even though it was bought from my service provider "brand new"), or a fault has arisen? What can be done?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI got a message that I needed to revalidate my windows live hotmail account. I treid to do this several times but I kept getting the message to revalidate. I was told by verizon to try and delete the email account and then re-add it. I deleted it but now can't add it because it says that my information is wrong or my account doesn't exist. What is going on?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm really stuck with an email problem. I've looked through these forums for quite a while but haven't been able to get an answer.
I've had an email address that I've used for many years on my computer (sbcglobal.net), so naturally I used that same email address on my Curve, without any problems. The other day, I decided to stop using that email address that I've been using for a long time and created a new email address with a different server (gmail.com). So now I want that new email address as my default email on my Curve. I'm having the hardest time figuring out how to delete my current email address on my Curve and change it to the new email address.
I've tried going to Default Services and changing the email, but I can't change anything. My only option is the current sbcglobal.net email. I've also tried going to email setup and logging in to change my email settings, but for some reason it's not accepting my username/password. I'm using the right username and password combination but it's saying I have the wrong u/p.
I reformatted my BB on Monday, and reinstalled it from backup. Before that, when I'd get an email notification, the LED would flash red and a tone would sound. Now, nothing. I have it set up correctly, and even took it to the store today to see if they could figure it out. All other sounds/notifications work fine, except for email.
View 14 Replies View RelatedEvery so often, I check Outlook and notice e-mails that were never received on my Blackberry. Here's what I know:
1) the problem only rarely occurs, so I can't recreate it for others to see
3) a user can send me dozens of e-mails without a problem, then inexplicably one will go missing (so it isn't a single user issue)
4) carrier is Verizon they claim it is Yahoo's issue, because no other e-mails are effected (I use Yahoo Small Business e-mail)
5) Yahoo claims it is not their issue since e-mails are being received in Outlook
6) Outlook is configured to leave all of my messages on the server (it is a pop3 account if that matters)
7) The e-mails are not being received into Spam or any other folder
Here's what I've done (in no particular order):
1) hard reset
2) resent service books
3) added and deleted my e-mail account
4) checked all of my settings
5) re-registered with Verizon
6) threw a tantrum
7) screamed wildly at my co-workers for no reason
8) drank a few beers
9) broke up with my girlfriend
10) took a nap
I just picked up a used Curve 8330. When I activated it with my carrier the previous users email is still on the phone. Is there a way to delete without their users name or password?
View 4 Replies View RelatedHave a new 8310. OS is v4.5.0.37 Platform 2.7.0.55I'm in Australia, currently with Telstra but in the process of changing.I have not purchased a data plan for the phone. I have a wireless modem for my desktop & wondering if I can use this to connect my phone to the web without purchasing data?
Do I need a data plan to send emails? Can I use my existing online email acct(yahoo), or do I need to set up a special one for the phone? If so, please explain where/how? If not, what other info do I need to configure the existing one? It seems I need a PIN as well as e-addy & password(& assuming it's the yahoo password?)
I recently upgraded the software on my BB and I have 3 e-mail accounts that I have been using with it. For some reason it randomly selected one as the default to use when sending out messages, etc. from any application. I have changed it to the e-mail I want (Options>Advanced Options>Default Services>) however this doesn't fix my problem. I even deleted the e-mail address from my blackberry and in my calendar it still shows a default that is not what I put in the options. The wrong e-mail is still set somewhere because when I go to use Viigo it tries to send it from the e-mail address I deleted!
View 13 Replies View RelatedI currently have a Blackberry 8330, v4.5.0.186 (Platform 3.4.0.59).I used to be prompted to delete emails off both my blackberry and my home computer's Windows Mail. I think after updating the Blackberry, this option was no longer available, which requires me to read emails on my Blackberry and then to have to delete them off my home computer.
Does anyone know of a way that I can restore this function to my Blackberry?
Previous to recent update, I could delete messages either on just the 8330 or I could delete the message from both the 8330 and the primary e-mail box from which it transferred. Now after the update, I can only delete from the 8330. Is there a way to get this feature back?
