BB Curve 8300 :: Restore USB Pop Up Connection Message

i was connecting my 8310 to my pc using the usb cable, and when was displayed the pop-up alert on the phone, to allow the memory card connection, I selected the flag to avoid the repetition of the question, but, unluckly, I selected the "No" option and not the "Yes" option: a very stupid type mistake.So, now, Desktop Manager can't connect with that computer, cause the 8310 has stored the option that it hasn't to connect and never ask it again.Is there any way to restore the pop up message to allow the pc to connect by USB?I tryed to restore the default option for the firewall, but the situation didin't change.

I have a Blackberry curve 8300 that I have decommissioned. However, I left some data on it that requires recovery. Funny things is I forgot the password. I do have a backup of the data so I all need to do is figure or get told how to set the device to factory defaults so I can reload the system with the application that is storing the data I need.

I have a curve 8300 which used to be connected to my mobile account through my former employers BES which worked perfectly. I have now left the company so have switched it from BES to BIS using the same mobile service provider. Emails are not synchronizing properly between handheld and laptop and I am told by mobile service provider that this is likely due to the 'email settings' not being set up correctly on my handheld. The problem is that most of the fields that should be appearing under options/email settings on my handheld are missing. The device software has been wiped and reinstalled but problem remains. Any ideas on why I am missing some of the fields and how I can get them?

I hope someone can help me. My integrated message folder is missing. Can you please help me put it back on? It is the folder that is default with BB that houses all of your messages, but more importantly receives my messages from my main account (work) with BB.

Does anyone know if it is possible to archive text messages to your PC and be able to read them from the PC? I have a LOT of text messages and it is slowing down retrieval on the phone.I need to download the messages to my PC, but not in the IPD format.I would like to either download them into a spreadsheet format or just a straight word doc that can be easily accessed.

I've had two Blackberry, but I'm new to the community. I traded my Pearl for the Curve 8330 a couple of days ago. The new message icon is constantly showing up. It started with three, then four, and now six. I have read several forums and have tried pulling my battery several times. I have even deleted my e-mail account and set it up again. I have gone into all my folders to see if there is a message hiding somewhere. I can't find anything. Has anyone else had this problem? Aside from doing a factory restore and/or calling Verizon does anyone have any suggestions on how I can reset the counter? By the way, my carrier is Verizon!

I keep receiving this error message: "During synchronization, some of the records were invalid. The following 1 records where skipped: Address Book -0, Microsoft Outlook -1 Do you want to view the synchronization log for more details?" The sync log doesn't give me any clue, apparently there´s no big deal, but it generates the error and I also can´t sync with splash ID

The message is 'this is a wi fi only service'.I have set up as 'wifi preferred' and that is fine in the office or at home, but outside wifi areas the berry will not connect to the internet and gives that error message.

I used to be able to see a combined list of my emails, SMS texts, missed phone calls, voicemails and just about anything else when I opened the Message folder icon on my Blackberry Curve 8330 desktop, but now when I open it, all I get is a blank white screen. When I hit the menu button, the menu pops up without a problem and if I click the track ball, it will open a message, but I can't see the list itself.Also, when I go to view folder I can access any of the individual folders and they come up just fine. The only problem is the combined message list you're supposed to get when you open up the icon on the desktop (or application menu).

I am trying to Sync My blackberry 8330 Phone with MS Outlook 2010 Beta. I can not Sync to any part of MS Outlook (Calendar, E-Mail, etc) I always get the same error message "No available Message Stores". Does anyone know what is causing this or how to fix it.

restore a friend's blackberry messenger contact list? I was using a blackberry curve 8530 in the states and I just returned from the states to Africa. Before I left, my gave my bb 8530 to a friend. When I got to Ghana, I mistakenly restored my contact list using email, so it automatically removed my friend's bbm data and now she has lost her contacts.Initially, her bbm contacts appeared on my blackberry messenger contacts so I decided to back up my files remotely. Nothing happened and I later backed up locally using my saved back up list for last month then it was restored. This morning, I got a few bbm request that were her contacts.

I just received my 808 replaced by Nokia for the 3G bug issue. Now I have been noticing that annoying Connection Failed connection unavailable message every few seconds. Turned the positioning methods OFF and the frequency of the error message goes away but it still pops up every few minutes. I did a hard reset, removed the memory card where most of my apps are installed and it still gives me that same error. Ordered a new SIM to see if that makes any difference - none - Still same error message. That message is so annoying. Anyone have any other ideas that I could try ? Privacy mode is OFF also.

I have a problem with trying to log into my wireless router when I am at home using my BB.
I am entering the right address to log into the routers login page, trouble is all I'm getting is the following error message:The server returned the following error while attempting to fulfil your request: "Connection timed out"
I can get on the internet no problem, have even turned off my O2 network and just left my wireless network on and can still get on the web so know the router is letting me connect, have even tried to change the browser from BB to Firefox to IE but still no joy.

I bought my iphone about two weeks ago. I thought i did something to it becaus the sound would not function. Every button works correctly, but i can not control the volume. If someone calls me, it rings. I can not listen to music outloud, BUT headphones work. i had just updated it to ios 5.1.1.

My Iphone is in completely disabled. The only way to unlock it is to put the phone in restore mode. When I do this I get the following message "There was a problem downloading the software for the Iphone. An unknown error occurred (9006) (Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection active,and try again later.." Then I have to start over again. I've made dozens of failed attempts to try to connect. And even went to a friends that has faster more superb Internet speed and connection than my own and still the same message above comes up.

I recieved my Curve 8520 6 days ago and I am still waiting on my service provider contacting me about the Blackberry Tariff HOWEVER when setting up my phone using the Wizard Setup I did not have two options for the email setup, only Enterprise Email Activation...I have never had one, this is my first Blackberry. How do I apply the other option of Add An Email Address? Or does this mean that the phone has been used by someone else (even though it was bought from my service provider "brand new"), or a fault has arisen? What can be done?

I'm a BB newbie but recently received one for work. My problem is trying to transfer the contacts from my old cell phone (Sanyo SCP-7050) to my new Curve 8330. I took it to my local Sprint store and they said the contacts can't be transferred because the BB is registered on a BES. The Bluetooth connection won't work either, I assume for the same reason.Am I out of luck or is there some other way I can get the contacts into my BB? I have the contacts stored as individual business card files (.vcf) and was hoping there is a way to use the micro SD card to load them on somehow.

After trying 3 days to get my BB 8310 Curve connected to my network provider (I do have a data plan and internet plan) I´m a little bit upset.
The problem: I have all necessary data-plans and also registered my BB on the internet at the Web-Page (BIS?).Ok, my handheld is also recognised and the system doesn´t complain.But: on my handheld I can see only the word "edge" (in small letters - this shows that no data-plan is active as we know, but that´s not true) and not "EDGE" as it should be.An even better suspicicous issue: I called with the hotline from my provider and he also could see within his database that my handheld is registered and all plans were active.
So I tried following:
I inserted my SIM to another BB and it worked! (not so with my BB)
I also inserted another SIM from my colleague (who also uses a BB) and what happened? Nothing - also no connection.
So I assume that there´s somehow a bug in my handheld? Has anybody an idea? I would very appreciate it.
By the way, I have the latest OS:

I've been trying to update my phone for about 2 hrs now and i can't seem to get it to work. I've updated my desktop to v5.0, but everytime i click the link on the website it tells me i have the current version. i checked under "about" and i have v. 4.5.0.175. HOW DO I GET V5.0? oh and i have verizon if that matters.
