BB Storm2 9550/9520 :: Message Alert While Typing Message In Instant Messaging
Aug 21, 2010On bbm I keep getting an incoming bbm instant message alert/sound while im typing a message. The alert/sound only appears for incoming bbm messages when I'm typing on bbm. the alert/sound is different than the sound that I set on the profile menu and the volume is much bigger. Can I deactivate this alert/sound?

Jun 5, 2012I'm using the iPhone 4 and I'm trying to get in touch with my friends on instant message apps. The apps work fine, but as soon as i hit the "apple" button (or whatever it is called, the one at the bottom) to get to the "desktop" of my phone and I or the phone shuts down the screen it logs off my apps, which means that I cannot get people to write me whenever I am not sitting staring at the app.

Mar 10, 2012I tried to delete the instant message folder from the bb. the folder disappeared but the icons leading me to yahoo messenger and google talk are now locked onto my home screen. you can only opn them. no option for delete or move. i just want them to disappear so i can out my most used icons up there.

So what gives you the right to arbitrarily decide that someones mobile has been transferred to another person and act by freezing my nokia messaging account. I have 2 nokias an E90 and now an E72. I have 3 sim cards a UK one and 2 UAE ones and I use them interchangeably. They are all mine, belonging to one person, so why have you judged that my E72 has moved to " another person". This is outrageous nokia.

I've read many, many solutions found on the internet all day today to the point I am exhausted, so I have no other choice than to take some of your valuable time to assist me. I did the Options/Advanced/Service Book delete and restore CMIME trick and no change.

Curve :: Cannot Send Emails When I Reply To A Message From My Blackberry
Apr 27, 2011I cannot send when I reply to a message from my blackberry. There is no send option. Just save draft or full menu which does not have send function either. Need a fix ASAP.
Also, another wierd thing is I set up my profile so that I can have an alert when email messages come in and it does not work. All the other notifications work fine with that profile and the try me works fine but does not work when email messages come in.

Jul 2, 2010Whenever I send a text message ( Keywords for activaton / cancellation of some services e.g. ACT VLU99) to my service provider's helpline no. ( in my case 111) I always get a reply message saying "You have entered the wrong keyword..." I tried sending EXACTLY the same message after changing my SIM to other phone a Nokia N73 and the message gets accepted. This has happened atlest on 3 occassions.

Apr 12, 2011I owned nokia C6-01 for about 2 months and update my firmware to PR1.2. I also put the 'notification widget' on my first homescreen. The notification will notify incoming message and miss call event. Recently, I noticed that widget didn't prompt any message notification even though I received a new message. I thought this must be widget problem. So I remove that widget.
However, when received new message, the phone not show a new message alert. But, the message icon (on top right,if in portrait mode) can be accessed to preview the message. To revert back my phone to normal, which to normalized 'notification widget', I restarted the phone. And put back 'notification widget' on my first homescreen. Then, everything was fine. Until for a few days,the problem same still after my phone.

Jun 1, 2012I was browsing a web site through google when the page went blank and the error message came up. "error message - uncaught exception: shared webkit instance unavailable:null." I can no longer access internet browsing on my blackberry as the message just comes up. Interestingly I can still access my facebook and ebay apps just not use google or internet browser.

Apr 23, 2012Cannot send my daughter a "message" any longer. We both have iPhones and are both using Verizon as the carrier. My wife's iPhone messages still get through but hers and mine to each other no longer do. I have tried rebooting and a few other things but still the only thing we get are the green bubbles with an exclimation. The only thing I can think of is... both of them have texting on their phones but I do not. Messages worked before and I have never had texting on my phone.
