Nokia :: What Presumptuous And Outrageous Message From No Reply Team?
Feb 26, 2010
Dear Nokia Messaging customer, The Nokia Messaging account you have been enjoying came as part of the purchase of your Nokia phone. According to our records, that phone has been transferred to another person. Your Nokia Messaging account has been deactivated. Your account is safe - it cannot be accessed by the new owner of your Nokia phone. In addition, you can sign up for a new Nokia Messaging account for use on another Nokia phone. Please visit the Nokia Messaging website (http://email.nokia.com/account) to see a list of Nokia phones that run with Nokia Messaging. We look forward to serving you again. Sincerely, Nokia Messaging team *** This email was generated automatically. Please do not reply to it.What records are you talking about Nokia. My E72 has not been transferred to another person.
So what gives you the right to arbitrarily decide that someones mobile has been transferred to another person and act by freezing my nokia messaging account. I have 2 nokias an E90 and now an E72. I have 3 sim cards a UK one and 2 UAE ones and I use them interchangeably. They are all mine, belonging to one person, so why have you judged that my E72 has moved to " another person". This is outrageous nokia.
Whenever I send a text message ( Keywords for activaton / cancellation of some services e.g. ACT VLU99) to my service provider's helpline no. ( in my case 111) I always get a reply message saying "You have entered the wrong keyword..." I tried sending EXACTLY the same message after changing my SIM to other phone a Nokia N73 and the message gets accepted. This has happened atlest on 3 occassions.
My wife and I both have iPhone 4. Starting yesterday she can reply to texts that I start but if she creates a new text to me I don't recieve it. I've only gone as far as doing a hard reset on both phones with no change. Everything else ( mail and phone) is working as far as I can tell.
Everything works like a charm, I can send e-mails, and receive them and everything else this wonderful little piece if outstanding technology is supposed to do, ... except reply to an email. I've read many, many solutions found on the internet all day today to the point I am exhausted, so I have no other choice than to take some of your valuable time to assist me. I did the Options/Advanced/Service Book delete and restore CMIME trick and no change.
My nexus 5 has stopped notifying me when someone replies to me in the course of a conversation. It alerts me when a new text comes in but not once the conversation is in progress.
I cannot send when I reply to a message from my blackberry. There is no send option. Just save draft or full menu which does not have send function either. Need a fix ASAP.
Also, another wierd thing is I set up my profile so that I can have an alert when email messages come in and it does not work. All the other notifications work fine with that profile and the try me works fine but does not work when email messages come in.
We have a contract IT person, so they are not helpful, but we do not have a BES. When I read or reply to messages in outlook the original message gets sent to the email on the blackberry again. Is there a way to turn this off?
When my daughter sends me a text from her Blackberry Torch I cannot simply reply to it. I can type a response but it will not send. I can however go into my contacts and hit send msg to her that way but it is frustrating, time consuming and annoying.
1) I placed an order for the Milestone only (no contract, $509) using an id that was registered in BC, then put a "shipping address" in for Ontario. This was Feb 18th, just for the phone.
2) after nothing showing up on my credit card, I picked a very common name, separated by a dot, @telus.com, and logged in. Sure 'nuff, it was a real account, and after putting the Milestone AND the media dock in my cart, I confirmed that the province was "Ontario", so I put the order through.
3) My credit card was charged for the amount of the first order, late in the day on the 20th, for an order placed on the 18th.
4) On Monday the 22nd, the charge for the first order was reversed, and the charge for the second order was shown on my online credit card statement.
4) On Wed the 24th, the second order was reversed.
So I'm wondering what reason they would have to cancel both the orders, and wondering I'm now "flagged" or something and now ineligible for teamwebstore discounts.Or maybe it's just that they're not fulfilling orders that don't include a plan?
Where do I begin here! This whole sorry thing started 3rd week of october. I noticed my HTC Wildfire S was having issues with the power on and off button (I thought it was a battery but somehow I managed to fix it) I did notice though that when I was making calls and doing just about anything? It was taking quite a bit of time to respond to any commands via touch and when I was making or receiving calls? The screen was turning Green. I thought something's not right here. I phoned Customer service who arranged for it to be picked up only to find a week later that it came back to me totally unrepaired. No letters inside the package or anything explaining why. I phoned again and also emailed the CEO of HTC to kick up a bit of a fuss. Got a call back from them agreeing that this wasn't right and they arranged a 2nd pick up and I was told this time it would be fixed (and each time too I was told to pack my charger and battery why I don't know) enter today when it has came back to me again with no repair notes no nothing and also this time they have not even returned my phone charger and battery to me and also looks as if they have damaged the battery holder part. What am I supposed to do here?
I have a Bold 9930 on the Sprint network. I get a lot of mass text messages from friends where they may go back and on a subject. However, I can only reply to the "one" person that sent the message. I know two people with Bolds that can do it, but they have different network providers.
I'm connected at home to a Netgear router with a laptop also connected no problems, the problem is when I try to browse the web on my E63 I get "no gateway reply". I've added the MAC address of the E63 to my list of attached devices. I've deleted and added the access point so many times and now I'm getting fed up with it. I've tried the turning off the power in the advanced settings but still no luck.
I just got the N85 and I've been trying to connect to my next door neighbours internet, i don't know him so i don't wanna talk to him, i just wanna use his internet connection, it has no wep key or no type of security. Another neighbour is also in the same scenario, i've tried both the connections but everything i do it also says "no gateway reply", i can't even get on to a single website.
i got a new n79 mobile. i thought of access the wifi from it but it always shows the problem "no gatewat reply" can any one give me a complete details of it i have searched a lot but i coould not find any where.
i am having no gateway reply problem while connecting to wifi.. i have tried everything from closing manual setting to closing power sever, but all in vain.
Upgraded from an N96 to an X-6 and I have a problem - can't access the internet or nokia music store or ANYTHING. It did with the N96, the only thing that's changed is the phone. In the wlan conn manager it shows as connected but when i start the browser it comes up "no gateway reply". I think I may have to start from fresh and re-enter the security settings but I can't find them.
I can receive email but I cannot reply to it since I cannot send out messages. I have reported this over the phone to a Nokia Hotline but no solution has been found. In one of my trips to Manila I went to a Nokia Care Center in SM MOA and they also said nothing is wrong with my phone ,they claim that with their own sim card they can send and receive messages . So Again I went Smart Iloilo Philippines where they also told me nothing is wrong with the with the operator settings.
I really don't know where to turn to; I got this E75 because I need the push email services badly. My user name in the Nokia messaging is and my Cel phone number is. Is this a software or hardware problem and has anybody encountered a similar problem
I cant seem to connect to wifi, i get No Gateway Reply, even though the WIFI is an open network so its not pass protected, what could be wrong? My mates iPhone connects always but why not mine? I have Nokia 5530
My gf has a N97, and has the facebook app.She is a friend on facebook, however can not reply to any comments i make, and she can not see half the stuff on my wall. When she logs on with her normal computer, she can see things normally.I am the only friend she has this issue with. Can someone help?
I have noticed that the nokia messaging solution dose not have the option of a custom "reply-to" address.how it works--- i have email address A and B. On address A the reply-to option is B. then i send an email to address C from A. when address C clicks reply, the reply address becomes B not A.this is a feature included in the built in email client, it's available in Gmail and also Blackberry.I would like to see nokia implement this.I'm using a 5800 with messaging installed but not using due to the lack of this feature.
I currently own a Xpressmusic 5530, and I can't surf the web on my college wifi network. I was able to for several months until 2 days ago when the error appeared. Now the college wifi network is a public network and requires a webpage login. Before the error appeared, i would connect to the Wifi and then log in through the webpage perfectly with the wifi.
I already tried resetting to hardware settings, reinstalling the firmware, disenabling/enabling the power saving, and setting up the ip4v address like my wifi on laptop. Nothing worked. This is my first Nokia phone and i'm really disappointed that i can't use my wifi anymore. I didn't change any settings and it just stopped working. I even went to the tech people in my college and the network specialist didn't know what was wrong.
I have a 6300 and am able to receive texts from Africa, but when I reply to the number with a text back, it won't send. I requested a delivery receipt and I eventually got the notification that it failed, but didn't give any reason. I am based in the UK and am sending to a Guinea number. Any tips?
This is my first time here and I have a problem in my 5800 express music and that problem is: Every time I want to use internet via WLAN or 3G I got this message (no gateway reply).
I've just bought the N900, but when I get a text message and try to open and read it, I immediately get to the reply window. I want to know how I can read the full message.
Under "Menu" then "Call Settings", does "Text Message Reply" work when enabled?Supposedly if you press the power button when a call is coming in, the call will be ignored and you will receive the option to have a "canned" text message sent to the ignored caller. When I press the power button while an incoming call is ringing from a mobile number, my screen goes dark, i.e. I get no prompts to select one of the text message responses and send it. When I wake the phone, I have a missed call indication in the notification area and that's all
