When I send my husband a text to his BlackBerry Style from my EVO he gets it so he knows I've sent him something but it comes up as a blank screen, No Text, he can't see it. He doesn't have this issue with any other person. Nor do I ever have an issue with my texts not showing up for anyone else. Is there some compatibility problem between EVO/BlackBerry?
View 3 RepliesI cannot find a setting that allows me to keep my text messages from being broken into many individual messages. The same happens to messages I receive. A single message may be broken up into seven or eight individual messages, which most often are not even in the proper order when received, or sent. Most text messages on other phones are one block.

Whereas in the past (like even early this afternoon) I would be able to see emails or texts - or if no email or texts it would say 'No messages' - I cannot open either emails or text and therefore cannot create, read, or anything else. The scroll button is inop after clicking on email or text and I must it the exit button to regain control of the scroll button.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am having a problem with Blackberry messenger on my handset where the text box at the bottom of the screen goes blank where you type and I can't see the text I have written. And orange customer services are near enough useless and have told me to ask here about this problem.Also sometimes the cursor moves and no text is written while typing.I have un-installed the application and re-installed it with no help and performed about 10 hand held wipes.Please can someone give me the solution to this problem before I take a hammer to this phone.
View 16 Replies View RelatedI am wondering if others are having the same issue. Sometimes when I receive a text message on my MA it is completely blank. They are even plain text messages. Let me explain. I have received text messages with special characters in the message and the MA displays a "?" where those characters are. When I receive a message that contains a picture those do not get sent to the MA (and I am more then okay with that). But for some reason when I get certain text messages the display shows up all white and I am unable to see anything when trying to open the message on the MA. I can't even delete it.

EDIT: I have upgraded to the latest version of the OS for the MA and now get some feedback saying that a message could not be synced but I still wonder why some are able to be synced while others cannot be.
Sometimes I get blank SMS messags there's no address or text. I have the Sprint 8330. Just was wondering if there's anyway to prevent that or what. Still a rookie with one. My pin is 30E9758E please fill free to add me.

I receive the message and my phone acts like I have one, but all the words are gone. And this sender is the person I text and talk the most to. I pulled the battery and that didn't help.

Some people receive them just fine, some people receive boxes instead of letters, and some people receive blank messages. Sometimes people just don't get anything. My phone registers that they have sent, but they never receive the message. I have also tried restarting my phone and taking out the battery many times.

Whenever I go into my "Messages" app, it either shows up as a blank white page or shows previous messages but the screen freezes on the page. Sometimes I am able to text but then it starts freezing again. I am unable to call anyone. My battery is drastically draining. My phone just decides to freeze randomly and will turn off by itself. When double clicking the home button to "close" apps, my phone freezes. I have tried to update to the new IOS 8.1.2, but whenever I choose the "agree" option, my phone doesn't do anything.

I have erased all of my voice mail messages but when you call my number it says that that voice mail is full when actually it is completely empty. (I have taken battery out several times)

I can see commas and smileys but not the actual text.When I go to language setup, Russian is not listed. I have tried "Automatic" and "English" with the same results.I have done a master reset, same behavior.The thing is, I LOVE the V551 phone. I also have an iPhone I use for business, photos, music, etc., but the V551 is my 2nd personal phone and I've used one since 2003. I love it so much, I recently found a brand new one for sale on eBay and ordered it. This is the one where I am having this problem - the brand new "old" Motorola V551.

My "text message" icon recently disappeared from the "All" menu. It was seemingly replaced by a second "contacts" icon. Luckily I had it in the "favorites" menu as well so I can still access them. However it is annoying to have to flip to the favorites menu just to read a text message.
I have since set it so text messages go to the general messages inbox, however I would prefer to get the icon back. I have tried pulling the battery to no avail.
I have received two (2) different text message with only the sender address and the message is blank....they will not delete. cannot highlight message field and no option to delete only to close application

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter finally convincing my new Style to sync with my BES service (had to sync with a NEXTEL device twice before the BES server caught a clue), the Desktop mail account chimes with Sanguine Remix when new messages arrive, at the default volume of the selected profile. I've tried changing the playback sound for all obvious notifications in the selected Profile away from Sanguine Remix and the sound played back as Sanguine Remix isn't associated any longer to any of the Profile's options.Any ideas where the sound notification can be changed for the Desktop (BES synched) account? Right now I have to mute all ringers (Silent sound Profile) in order for it not interrupt my sleep. I get hundreds of alerts every day and even with Exchange rules marking messages as read and moving them to a specific folder other than the inbox, BES is catching a small percentage before Exchange marks them as read, and doing what BES does best, forwarding the messages to my phone.
Neither my hotmail nor gmail accounts have this problem since they have an option in profiles and I have configured them to remain quiet.Under Messages-Notifiers for selected Profile:Email: gmailEmail: hotmail Level 1PINtext MessagesVisual voice mail I am going to try Phone Calls Only and edit It to include Text Messages. my phone is approx 2 years old and a few months ago developed a glitch in that it shows the number of the text messages I have, and the number is increasing despite the fact that I have deleted all texts from the phone. I noticed that when I switch the phone on after a period off, it adds new messages and shows them as "new" (with that sparkly sign at the corner of it). I wonder whether there is a way of deleting this misleading icon from the home-screen?
