I'm running .419 and I have threaded text, this morning my texts started coming in blank, i could type and send fine, but my received would not show up even after deleting the entire conversation with the person.
View 14 RepliesI can receive text messages from any sender and get the message just fine and able to read fully. One sender's messages are all blank. I receive the message and my phone acts like I have one, but all the words are gone. And this sender is the person I text and talk the most to. I pulled the battery and that didn't help.
View 19 Replies View RelatedI recently owned the curve 8530 and liked the setting to make the messages appear in bubble format rather then line separated. The Tour that i have now does not have that option. Does anyone know if it exists due to an OS upgrade, or anyway else i can get sms to display in bubbles?
View 14 Replies View RelatedWhen I go into my "messages" folder, or any of my email folders, there are on 5 listed without scrolling down because the font size is so big. I heard that is a way so more can be shown by decreasing the size.

Everything went smoothly during the upgrade, ever since then I have been having trouble with receiving text messages and MMS messages. I have gone to 3 sites for free ringtones have sent the ring tones to my phone, I have not received anything. I also have setup google voice and I am not getting any text messages from people tht text my google voice number.

If i get a text message from someone that is also a BBM contact, I get the text message in my BBM list and it has a text message symbol next to it!!! and in my text message list! i don't need to be told twice that I have a message of some sort and this is VERY annoying!
I have a quick question and I have searched and cannot find what Im looking for. I appologize ahead of time for being a NOOB. Is there anyway to separate texts by contact? My BB shows every text thats been sent. Im wanting to compress all these texts into individual lines per contact. For instance if someone sends me 10 texts, it shows them all instead of 1 line for that particular contact.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry Tour 9630 for Sprint and I plugged it into my iMac last night to charge via USB and it was perfectly fine the whole time.When i woke up in the morn (the comp also went to sleep all night long) the phone screen was blank (black) and the red LED light was solid with no blinking. I unplugged the phone and the screen stayed blank and the light stayed on. I pressed the power button on the phone and the screen showed the little clock with rotating hands (like it was processing something) and then it went blank again and the LED light came back on.It did this 3 times before i took the battery out.I left the battery out for about 25mins and when i put it back in nothing happened at all. I pressed the power button and still nothing. The only thing that happens is when i plug it back in the comp, the solid red LED light comes back on - but still nothing on the screen.Has anyone experienced this or have any ideas for me? Did i fry the battery by leaving it plugged into a dormant comp?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded my wife's OS on her VZW Tour to the latest official release. Since then she has been having problems with her work email.
She is on BIS but has her blackberry account set up with her company's Exchange server. Until the upgrade everything was fine. Now, however, most if not all of her work emails are arriving blank. All her other email accounts come through fine. If she forwards the work emails to another account they read fine. If she even forwards the work email back to her blackberry from the same email account the text of the email will appear as well. These are all internal emails within the company. Not HTML based. Text and possibly an attachment (attachments show up fine). I have checked her settings and nothing has changed. I am curious as to whether or not her employers email server may not be compatible with the new OS.
I am a little perplexed and cannot figure out what the deal is.
So this all started about two weeks ago. Every time i get a mms message from someone i get it first about 5-10 min after they send it, then again about 1-3 hours after they sent it. Ive tried several battery pulls, with no luck. Im running 5.0.0.591 (I know it has problems, but I couldnt get the Sprint upgrade figured out )
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've had 2 Tours on Verizon and they both have the same problem. Certain people's texts come in on my phone, and I can read the first "preview" line in the SMS menu. When I try to open the text to see the rest of it, my phone freezes up for a minute of so and then the text is blank (with just the arrow next to it, so I can see it is missing. ) This doesnt happen every time I get a text from them, but it happens enough to be annoying. I downloaded Crunch SMS as a backup because that opens the texts that my normal SMS app wont, but I like the BB text program better.
Once I get one of these blank texts I have to delete the entire history with that person to start recieving the text again, which is also inconvienent since I lose a lot of texts every month because of this.They also have to edit at least one character in their original text to get it to show up on my phone when they resend it.
Both people that this happens with have EnV's on verizon, one of them has had 2 EnV 3's and one has an EnV touch. Sometimes they cant read my texts either.
I've tried battery pulls, updates, and warranty replacements.EDIT: I have the Original Tour with camera. It's on Verizon running the most recent software. Crunch SMS doesnt have anything to do with this, it happens with or without it installed. I have ~80 mb free memory at all times and do a QuickPull every couple of days.
Whenever I send an email using my gmail account whether from my phone or my computer, the sent message shows up in the inbox as a new incoming message, I have my Messaging already set to hide sent emails/SMS/MMS/etc. So how do I get my phone to stop adding messages i sent as new messages in my inbox?

View 7 Replies View Relatedi saw on kevin's Internet video about the blackberry messenger stress test that it said "crackberry.com" at the top where it would normally say the network's name. is there a way i can actually enter in what i want or at least have the network's name on there? it's really annoying to have that blank space there at the top of the screen. it looks awkward for me.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI used the Email Settings to delete two email addresses I used to use from my Blackberry.The folders are now gone and the email addresses do not show up under Email Settings any longer.HOWEVER, when I go to my messages folder under Options then Inbox Settings,I still see those email addresses just with the Check Box checked off from them under Email Accounts.Is there a way to delete these from this list?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI added a new gmail address to my phone, before that, I had my work e-mail, a different gmail address and my blackberry e-mail.All e-mails went directly into the main mailbox.They also went into the separate folders for each specific e-mail address. so if I wanted to only look at e-mails from email address #1, I just had to look in that folder.Well it still works for the first 3 e-mail address, but since I added the new gmail account, the e-mails on the new account only go to the main e-mail message folder.So if I go to the separate folder for the new gmail account it shows no e-mails at all.But if I go to the main inbox, any new e-mails to that account are shown there.Does anyone know how to fix this?I have deleted and re-added this account at least 3 times, I have done everything I know and I still cannot get the e-mails to show up in the separate account folder!

I did the device switch with DM and everything seemed to copy over just fine with one exception. I keep getting new messages (both email and sms) and the top bar is showing that I have 6 new messages but they are not actually showing up in my messages.

I've noticed that emails stick around for a month or so before being deleted, but SMS don't delete. It's been set to 15 days since I got it in September, and I still have every SMS sent/received on it
Is this a known bug? Is there a fix for it other than hope it's fixed in the next OS release?
I downloaded berrybuzz about a month ago and everything has been working great untill two days ago. Now the LED doesn't light up at all.I have tried battery pulls and that doesn't work. Any ideas. My next thing is to delete the app and redownload it.If someone else has an other idea that would be great.
