When I synced my iPhone 3 to my Motonav, it seemed to take a very long time at the Administrator screen and I don't have that many contacts. I also don't see a progress indicator on the Nav so I tapped OK and synced again. All my contacts were synced, but now they're in the Nav twice. How do I delete the duplicates? Or wipe them all out and start fresh?
View 1 Replieshow to fix my brand new MOTONAV TN765? I downloaded the "latest" map update, which seemed to run without problem. Unplugged the USB cable (as directed) and let it start to unpack the images. It locked up a couple of seconds into the "update process." I have tried to power off and back on- still locked up at same place. I have tried to re-plug in the USB- still locked up. Tried inserting a SIM chip, no luck. Tried the small reset button on the bottom of the device- no change.

Juat a little background I make a lot of stops on my inspection route (30+).Have been using MS Streets trips and trips 2009 so maps are not an issue for me and have been able to update to q4 2009 just had to update the unit first.Also have been able to use google send to unit and put that address into favorites and route it so maybe updated my maps one by one as needed.Is this feature free forever or only 3 months? Have not been able to make the start and end of my route the same and this does affect how the unit actually routes my stops.Does anyone know how to do this I have tried home as start point or just current location and does not route me back home on planned trip or route.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have just returned from the Sprint store where they reset my Photon and synced with my old phone after I couldn't get rid of my duplicate contacts. I looked in the store and my phone had single recordings of the contacts, for a total of around 600. I came home, signed in and synced with GMail which only has 3 contacts and was trying to figure out how to send my phone contacts to Gmail. I'm not sure what I did but I suddenly have 1200 contacts on my phone and onl,y 3 contacts in Gmail.

From what I can tell, the app that is taking up the most internal space is MotoNav at 17.73 MB (= 17.49 MB of data and 248 KB of app). My trial period has already expired though it appears I can still use it now (I'm assuming with its existing maps).I've read it's hard to remove MotoNav from the phone because it's a system app. That's fine but what happens if I just want to delete all the data from this app? Is that ok? Are there any long term ramifications to do that? What happens if say, I chose to buy an activation key for it at a later date? Will I be able to redownload all that data (the maps, etc) again?

This just happened sometime in the last couple of hours, I made no changes during this time. I have a galaxy s5. I tried shutting off the phone and restarting it thinking it may reset itself; it did not change.

I noticed there was a duplicate of a video file in my phone and I can't get rid of it.
I already got the original file off phone but the duplicate is still there. I can't play the file and when I click on the file the delete option is grayed out. I looked in the memory card and there is no file there but the phone still says its there.
How do I delete a duplicate folder from the email folders? (I have a drafts folder and what looks like a draft paper.)

To remove the duplicates I use Contact Remover. Each duplicate is reviewed with this program and indicates either "Account Motorola" or Account MyGmail Address.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI had an EVO. it synced all my facebook contacts with my phonebook contacts. So i could look at pics and statuses from my phonebook. Im assuming this phonebook doesnt work that way. it added facebook contacts before i got to add my real contact list. so now there are doubles of some ppl . and some of my contacts that dont have their phone #'s on fb, i cant link them to my contacts like the EVO would. Also, some contacts that i had linked to facebook show up now with a NOTE under them with a HTClink:for their facebook. (if you can understand that) Also the contacts that say they do have a facebook. when i click go to their page. its just goes to mine. so the links must be screwed up.

I have my contact spread out over mutple source like sim, phone, and accounts.
Problem is each account has duplicates on its own and there has been no cure to this madness.
Ok, so when I am in the compose message view I start typing a name to send a message to and the phone shows me all numbers for that contact, even if I deleted that number... for example say my contact Lewis upgrades and gets a new number, I edit his contact, deleting the old number and replacing it with the new. Then when I type LEW into the compose message "to" section it shows all numbers ever stored under that name, if you know what I mean..? So i am typing someones name getting multiple numbers even if they only have 1 number to there name.This also seems to be the case if someone registers a number to FB and I overwrite that number with a new number
View 7 Replies View Relatedi just purchased a motonav tn765 today. i plugged it in to charge and it seems to indicate that it is charging (the power led turns yellow). after 2 hours of charging (yellow light) i removed the cord and the led turned red. activating the power switch does nothing. reseting the unit does nothing. i purchased this device at a local walmart as a clearance item. they don't have any more in stock and usually clearance items are not returnable. i called support and their only suggestion was to return it to the store. does anyone here have any ideas of how to get this device to turn on?

It won't accept a manual cancellation command either. Haven't tried to reset because I don't want to have to re-enter everything. Haven't logged onto the Motonav Tool page in years.

I'm one of three guys in the country that actually read the manual for anything. However, the manual for this device sucks. When I have tapped the top right corner, opened the delete mode and tried to 'click' on the photos it says it is an unsupported file. When I open up the pictures individually and tap the top right corner it doesn't even bring up a delete option. I really, REALLY don't need all my memory used up with this junk.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI will set it in the cradle and it will begin the power up process and turns off several times before the status bar completes its update.At times, I am able to get it turned and it will work as intended but after a while it says that the battery is critically low and I need to plug the device in. I have it in the cradle, and the car charger utility plug is plugged in and is displaying a green light indicating power.The MotoNav is acting as if it is not receiving power from the cigarette lighter/utility port.When I undock the MotoNav from the cradle I no longer get the message...that the device is in pedestrian mode and on battery power, do you wish to turn off the device?...the MotoNav just immediately turns off.
