My new galaxy 5 somehow downloaded every picture that I have ever posted on Facebook and Google+, some are duplicates, and I cannot delete them! When I have tapped the top right corner, opened the delete mode and tried to 'click' on the photos it says it is an unsupported file. When I open up the pictures individually and tap the top right corner it doesn't even bring up a delete option. I really, REALLY don't need all my memory used up with this junk.
I went to use my contact list and I discovered that my name & several of my contacts had been duplicated in name only, there is nothing attached to the name, but I cannot delete them. This just happened sometime in the last couple of hours, I made no changes during this time. I have a galaxy s5. I tried shutting off the phone and restarting it thinking it may reset itself; it did not change.
Whenever we download pictures to our pc there there are duplicate images. Someof the pictures are duplicated when you view them on the phone some aren't. When you try to delete the duplicated pictures on the phone it doesn't allow you to.
I have my AOL email account set up on my iPhone 4, and I get duplicates of every email that I receive. So when I open my email there is 2 of every one listed, and when I delete them I have to delete both of them.
I recently purchased an iPhone 4S (came from a droid) and my contact list was in gmail. The service provider "copied" my contacts from my old phone to my iPhone and when finished, most of them came over in triplicate. Is there a way to merge, delete duplicates; short of manually? If done, will they come back during a sync
Every time I take a picture with my iPhone 4s, a duplicate appears in my camera roll a few seconds later. At first I thought it had to do with the HDR feature, so I turned the "Keep normal photo" setting off. It didn't make the slightest difference. Both pics are exact copies. The only differences are the size (one would be around 800k, the other one around 2.5MB) and the name (the largest one adds -1 at the end of it).
I have the BB Curve 9300 and each time it is rebooted, I end up with duplicate copies of the text messages I have in the saved messages folder. When I delete one of the duplicate copies, I end up with some messages that cannot be opened/read.
Where is this one coming from? My computer or somewhere else?
2. My Account
As far as I can tell, this is the original list from iCloud. How do I get rid of the From My Mac list without deleting the other list?I have checked iTunes... it is not set to sync contacts.I have checked iCloud and there are no duplicates there.
I have just returned from the Sprint store where they reset my Photon and synced with my old phone after I couldn't get rid of my duplicate contacts. I looked in the store and my phone had single recordings of the contacts, for a total of around 600. I came home, signed in and synced with GMail which only has 3 contacts and was trying to figure out how to send my phone contacts to Gmail. I'm not sure what I did but I suddenly have 1200 contacts on my phone and onl,y 3 contacts in Gmail.
I recently purchased some music from iTunes on my MacBook Pro while experiencing some problems with my internet. Eventually I got the songs downloaded to my computer, but it caused a weird error on my iPhone. It appears that the music I downloaded tried to automatically download to my iPhone but never started. The songs are just sitting there with the downloading icon next to them, but they are not downloaded. I have since syned my phone with my computer, causing these songs to become duplicates. My computer does not recognize that my phone is downloading them and I cannot delete them from either my phone or my computer. I have tried removing all of the music from my phone and resyncing it to no avail. Here is a photo of what it looks like on my iPhone: I have since purchased more music from iTunes and this problem did not occur. Also, I have tried going to the iTunes app and checking the downloads tab, but nothing appears there.
.ics file to add some calendar entries into my N8 calendar. But somehow the same calendar file was added multiple times and now I have 5 duplicate calendar entries for each day.Is there a way to delete these calendar entries without deleting my old calendar entries? The .ics file was a fixture list of a club and has a lot of entries so deleting them one entry by entry is not an option.
Somehow my Bold made a duplicate entry for each address I have in my address book. I don't know how or why this happened, but now when I go to sync my device with Outlook, it wants to put all those duplicated addresses on my desktop. Is there a way to delete duplicate entries in my address book?
When I synced my iPhone 3 to my Motonav, it seemed to take a very long time at the Administrator screen and I don't have that many contacts. I also don't see a progress indicator on the Nav so I tapped OK and synced again. All my contacts were synced, but now they're in the Nav twice. How do I delete the duplicates? Or wipe them all out and start fresh?
I noticed there was a duplicate of a video file in my phone and I can't get rid of it.
I already got the original file off phone but the duplicate is still there. I can't play the file and when I click on the file the delete option is grayed out. I looked in the memory card and there is no file there but the phone still says its there.
I tried the trick of deleting the gmail account in the service books, but the gmail account is not there. How to get this gmail contact list off my torch 9850?
I was going through my memorie card and I was attempting to delete pictures. I would click delete and the message "the selected file is read only.are you sure you wish to delete file" I click yes and the picture is still there.
I am trying to delete photos on my iPhone 5. I select the photos and videos I want deleted, but the trash can in the lower right hand corner is greyed out. How do I get these pictures off my phone? These are all pictures I took with the phone.
So I've had my s6 since April when it came out. I'm on virgin mobile in Canada. 3 days ago it started telling me my messages have failed to send and sometimes I'd get the 'service currently not available will resend when network becomes available'. But the thing is when I would get those messages the texts were actually going through and the phone would send duplicates of these messages without my input. Now it's sending duplicates regardless if I get those failed message notifications. I've factory reset the phone twice. I've hooked it up to the computer to see what's going on and to see if there is an update. Both the computer and the auto update option say I'm up to date. Phone is not rooted. Running Android 5.0.1. I've called tech assist and I've replaced the sim card.
