I have many photos in Picasa, sorted into many folders. On the S5, it displays all the picasa pics as one folder. On my S3 it displayed the folders individually. How to display the pics in folders?

View 4 Replies View RelatedSince I've had my S5, when I would download a pic from the internet, I'd be able to go into my gallery, into a folder called "download" and edit, send them, etc. All of a sudden that folder just disappeared! I downloaded a pic just to check, and the pic IS on my phone (not SD card, I've never used one), but there's no way for me to access it in the gallery. I don't know what changed, and it's annoying!

I am trying to make Picasa webalbums appear in Gallery, but unfortunately not all of the albums appear. I have enabled Picasa sync from Settings, however the sync icon never diappears. Even when I disable and re-enable Picasa sync, the icon will rotate for a few seconds and then it will stop. It will not disappear as it would normally do after a full sync (that's what happens when calendar, or contacts finishes syncing)
Now, in Gallery, only few of my Webalbums appear. The funny thing is that as the albums load on to the screen some Album Titles flash on the screen quickly, BUT when the loading completes, these albums are nowhere to be found in Gallery.
Tried to upload pics directly from phone (gallery) to my Picasa albums for the first time today.It takes me to the screen where it asks for Caption. My Google account shows on this page. However no album appears in the drop down list. When I'm done with this screen a message saying: "Failed to retreive account information" is displayed below briefly. The sharing/sync of course does not happen.I was using Picasa to upload my pics with my previous Android, with the same account. Why isn't it working with the Ray?
View 9 Replies View RelatedAfter the upgrade to ICS (obviously my XOOM wrongly assumes its T-Mobile Germany) my picasa albums are no longer showing in the Gallery app.In Settings -> Accounts & sync -> <my Google account> the "Sync Picasa Web Albums" is missing (not just unchecked - not there). All sync options are checked.I tried deleting an readding my google account and a factory reset without succes. Picasa albums are still not there. My picasa albums are not public but showing fine on my Transformer Pad (also ICS 4.0.3).

Not even sure if this is a Lollipop feature or a Samsung Gallery app thing. Assumed the latter as Quickpic doesn't allow this.

On all my previous Samsung Galaxy phones I could display my Picasa photos in the gallery, but I cannot work out how to do this with the S6 Edge (or even if it can be done)? I liked the feature because it meant I had access to all photos in 1 place... if this can be done on S6 Edge?

How can I delete all of them easily 'coz literally there are hundreds of them. And how can I stop them from showing up? I have to delete them one by one yesterday but it kept on showing up.
So I just got the phone last week from a blackberry and have stuff that is now more visible on the HTC where it was never before (highlight reels and gallery views)

View 2 Replies View RelatedIve had my 5530 xpressmusic phone for almost 10 mos and its always worked fine, but a few weeks ago i plugged in into my computer and since then my pictures arent in the gallerybut theyre still in the file manager. since then when i pluged it back into the comp only the pics that are saved on the phone are in the gallery. so my question is, is it a problem with my memory card (which has never been out of the phone)? or is it a software issue?

it's getting increasingly annoying that every piece of album art in a music folder i copy onto my memory card, and every single jpg used by any installed applications, just automatically gets added to the gallery when i don't want it to, nor need it to.is there any way to stop it? none of the files are being added to the image folder, the phone just seems to automatically add EVERYTHING with no thought for where it is and why it's on the phone.
