Jun 29, 2012I never set up photstream until after I put 600 pics on my camera roll. I just set up photostream today and it says that all recent pics i take from now will go into photostream? Two main questions? HOw do I see my pics in Itunes?How do I put my camera roll into photostream? I would like my pics to go to Icloud.

Jun 3, 2012Tried to upload pics directly from phone (gallery) to my Picasa albums for the first time today.It takes me to the screen where it asks for Caption. My Google account shows on this page. However no album appears in the drop down list. When I'm done with this screen a message saying: "Failed to retreive account information" is displayed below briefly. The sharing/sync of course does not happen.I was using Picasa to upload my pics with my previous Android, with the same account. Why isn't it working with the Ray?

I seem to be able to email the pics from the phone but that's all.Also, when I connect the iPhone to the laptop via USB, it no longer shows the device in left menu and doesn't seem to automatically download new pics. Something must have gotten turned off that I'm unaware of.Would also like some info on backing up iPhone and MacBook. Someone told me to upgrade to latest operating system to make use of the Cloud properly for the laptop. I'm new to Apple and need more education, though I love both of my devices immensely.The iPhone backs up to the Cloud it seems but I seem to have to do that manually. I would like both my iPhone and laptop to back up automatically if possible because I don't want to lose any information. What do you suggest? Jul 22, 2010Another day another teeth clenchingly frustrating problem with the Nokia X6 a.k.a "the most overpriced piece of fecal matter in existence".Now I am attempting the highly ambitious task of transferring a picture from the phone's memory to the PC. Oooh now I know you are probably gasping at the sheer complexity of this action. It is on par with rocket science you may think.So I am I om the dreadful Ovi Suite, and I have found the picture. So like a cad I try dragging it from the Ovi suite page to the desktop. Silly me, that only how every other program would allow you to do it! But no. Not ovi suite. Thankfully it stops me doing this, hell I can right click all day but the fantastic Ovi Suite just doesn't repond with a helpful pop out box giving me options such as "Copy" or "Cut". No, that would be too helpful.
Instead I have to click the picture then go to "copy to computer", where the wonderfully designed Ovi Suite then proceeds to whizz through it with a progress bar, but seeing as though just below this bar is a vast space containing nothingness I think it was a sensible decision for the programmers not to include, oh I don't know A DESTINATION FILEPATH! "Copying to computer" does not tell me where it has been copied to!
Christ was it a conscious decision of Nokia to just make this Ovi Suite the least user friendly as possible? So I have trawled through the millions of Nokia files in my Local disk and cannot find this image. This one little image that all I wanted to do was attach in an email. With a camera its a 30 second job, but good ol' Nokia has other ideas and improves the process by hiding the images away, deep in a folder that is completely secret to the user.So my question is does anybody know which file I should be looking for?The very fact I have had to sign in to this forum sums up how poor Nokia devices are.

They get things set up and recommended QuickPic - which looks good. However, it has a Wifi Transfer mode that I just don't seem to be able to get working.
I have selected photos, and tried to send but it sits there spinning with a message saying "Please open "Wifi Transfer" in nearby device."
The phone is connected to the internet using the home Wifi, and the desktop is connected using Ethernet.
What do I need to do? Do I need some sort of client on the desktop? The desktop is running Windows 7.
Galaxy S5 :: Skip Searching Through Music When Trying To Transfer Pics / Videos?
Feb 25, 2015When trying to import pictures and videos from the S5 to Windows 8 desktop, I connect the USB and then right click "import pictures and videos" button.
However, Windows goes through all of my music first (which takes a while) before it finds my pictures and videos in order to download.
Any way to tell windows to skip searching through music files during this search? Just go straight to music or videos.

I tried to transfer back the pics back to the phone via UBS cable, the phone registered the transfer as successful but I am able to open / even locate when I using the phone. The folders under Pics, Saved Pics all showed up empty without the Post Processed Pics.

Mar 29, 2012I have a 32GB IPhone 4 with IOS 5.1.I had photostream turned on and working, but recently it stopped. Also, i had backups turned on for iCloud, but those have started failing claiming I don't have enough space.I have all app backups turned off, no music or video backups either, but when I view the backup menu, it tells me that the next backup size (all apps/video/music turned off) is going to be 5.6gb. Obviously I'm losing memory somewhere, but I can't figure out where. The only peculiar thing I've noticed is that the 'Other' storage is showing 2.9gb used, but I can't tell what is contained in that

How do i get this set up so it automatically puts my pictures from my phone onto my computer?
