Since i have more than ~100 pics onto my sd-card, sometimes i get wrong preview pics!The names of the files are allright, but the preview pics not! Not all, but some!Formating the sd-card does not help!
View 6 RepliesIve had my 5530 xpressmusic phone for almost 10 mos and its always worked fine, but a few weeks ago i plugged in into my computer and since then my pictures arent in the gallerybut theyre still in the file manager. since then when i pluged it back into the comp only the pics that are saved on the phone are in the gallery. so my question is, is it a problem with my memory card (which has never been out of the phone)? or is it a software issue?

View 3 Replies View RelatedSo I flashed M p1 and then updated to p2 without need of root.Now I just needed that for a particular reason and I used NRT root option, but it was too late when I realized that it was flashing the stable version of SuperSU and would not work. Since then I've flashed 2.49 (beta) one that I read somewhere that should clean the files from previous installations, but it's not booting at all. Basically I want to keep the files on SD and applications. So, what should I choose? Deleting SuperSu files from Recovery? Flashing only System back? Any other method available for my scenario.

View 7 Replies View RelatedWhen I click from either the "Notification" screen, or the Text Message List, I am directed to the wrong text messaging thread. This doesn't happen every time, it happens every day, and multiple times, however. Usually, when I reboot the phone, the problem is gone...momentarily.
It seems to happen with random messages. I use Universal Inbox and currently see message from text, Facebook, Twitter, Gmail and my AT&T mail.
If I use the stock Text Messaging app, I can open the list of messages and see whatever I can from the preview there, but when I click to open the thread, it will open a totally random message thread. Weird. I'm not that into text messaging, but it does annoy me when I need to use it and I can't open individual messages because the wrong ones are appearing.
I don't know if this is a device problem, a software/app problem, an AT&T messaging problem or what. I'm somewhat ignorant about smartphones and have only had this Atrix 2 for about three months.
When I use the Galaxy S5 Gallery to view photos taken with the S5 the location data is always way off - maybe 400 or 500 metres.
If I use some other image viewer such as QuickPic or Gallery KK for the same pictures the reported location is accurate. If I copy the pictures to my PC and view them in Picasa or Lightroom the reported location is also accurate.
So why is the Samsung supplied Gallery app so wrong? (I know I could just ignore it and use an alternative app, but its other features are useful to me).
Incidentally, the recent Gallery update if anything made matters worse.
I changed my password on my curve, and I couldn't remember it and I got it wrong 10 times. It then said wiping and it wiped all my data. Luckily, I had a backup, however it wasn't very recent so I have lost a few contacts, but more importantly, all of my pictures. Is there any way at all that I can get them back?

However, less than half of my Gallery pictures made it over. In Maps 3.03 you can only zoom to the geographical center of the route (which is useless). View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with my nokia n86, when I go to Photos > Captured photos and I "travel" by the months that the pictures were taken, for some pictures, the preview image is completely different than the actual image! For example, I browse the phone for some the pictures taken in september 2011.
Then, when I choose one and try to use it, or even if I enlarge the picture I chose, I find out that the preview is plain wrong. This bug is for most of the pictures I took. This is really annoying - I can't find pics I took and use them. I must move them all to the computer. Also restart wont fix it. And I tried to update the software but it is the latest.
Another day another teeth clenchingly frustrating problem with the Nokia X6 a.k.a "the most overpriced piece of fecal matter in existence".Now I am attempting the highly ambitious task of transferring a picture from the phone's memory to the PC. Oooh now I know you are probably gasping at the sheer complexity of this action. It is on par with rocket science you may think.So I am I om the dreadful Ovi Suite, and I have found the picture. So like a cad I try dragging it from the Ovi suite page to the desktop. Silly me, that only how every other program would allow you to do it! But no. Not ovi suite. Thankfully it stops me doing this, hell I can right click all day but the fantastic Ovi Suite just doesn't repond with a helpful pop out box giving me options such as "Copy" or "Cut". No, that would be too helpful.
Instead I have to click the picture then go to "copy to computer", where the wonderfully designed Ovi Suite then proceeds to whizz through it with a progress bar, but seeing as though just below this bar is a vast space containing nothingness I think it was a sensible decision for the programmers not to include, oh I don't know A DESTINATION FILEPATH! "Copying to computer" does not tell me where it has been copied to!
Christ was it a conscious decision of Nokia to just make this Ovi Suite the least user friendly as possible? So I have trawled through the millions of Nokia files in my Local disk and cannot find this image. This one little image that all I wanted to do was attach in an email. With a camera its a 30 second job, but good ol' Nokia has other ideas and improves the process by hiding the images away, deep in a folder that is completely secret to the user.So my question is does anybody know which file I should be looking for?The very fact I have had to sign in to this forum sums up how poor Nokia devices are.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI updated my Nokia N8 to Belle this week, at first I hated it but i am growing to like it, until today.
When I connect my phone to my laptop with the USB cable I cannot see the pictures in Windows Explorer, the folder where they should be is just blank, this is very fustrating as it means I cannot cut and paste photos off my phone, i can only copy them via the import function.
I have had my N8 for a long time now and never had this problem. Also, it keeps saving the images as 001, 002, 003 etc, even though I select in options to save as date.
I do not want to have to do a hard reset and loose everything and have to install it all again which i had to do when i updated to Belle.
