Xperia PLAY :: Sony Camera Flash Light Stays On Constantly?

A few days ago I stupidly dropped my xperia play in the bath. I let it dry out and place in rice in a sealed container for a few days to dry it out. However when I now power the phone up the camera flash light stays on and will not switch off even going into the camera settings and turning it off. I done the software repair download from the sony website but it hasn't helped.I also purchased a new battery as well. I am guessing it's going to need repaired but I thought I ask on here if anyone has ideas as to what would be causing the problem.
My son brought me my phone yesterday and the flash light was on. I don't know what he did to it but it will not turn off even if I power down my phone. I have tried reseting and it doesn't work. I am also getting the error message when I open my camera that I must close other applications before it will let me run my camera.

My flash light does not go off after I turn it on from quick settings or after it is used by camera. I have tried a number of things including factory reset but unfortunately without luck.
I have a light that stays on constantly. Its like the video camera light is constantly on but not quite as bright as the video light. I have tried everything to turn it off. Its draining my battery & is annoying! When I turn on my video camera, the light brightens. I'm so sick of this stupid light! Short of putting blk electrical tape over it I don't know what to do.
Is there any possible way to make the camera flash light work when the click is made.cause the flash light glows continuously this is bit annoying.is there any other apps to over come this.

I have noticed that the back light on the camera (the small round one) stays on constantly. the lens cover was stuck open and the camera wont start. didnt hear the caller but the caller could hear me when in a call. no sound from the bottom speaker. all at once. screen ok vibrating ok.
I have noticed this when i pulled the phone from my pocket. it has been there for 20 minutes or so. before working fine.
Managed to get some of the hardware working later by looping videos i have recorded. after 4 5 times the sound came back. then after plugging headphones in the jack and pulling it out again i could hear the caller. then downloaded hardware test app and the camera came back but every time i switched from still to video the flash went off. happened also when switching from front facing cam to the normal one.
Does the xperia x10 have a flash or just the photo light (I know how to activate this but it blinds everyone I photograph? If it does have a flash how do your activate it?
I have an Xperia Z2 updated with android 4.4.4. When I try to take pictures at night I just get purple photos. This started just a few weeks ago out of nowhere. Let me say that the lens is not dirty nor blocked by anything. I don't have a case. I have just restored the phone today with Sony PC Companion and still the same issue.
I'm having a problem with my back camera when I take picture with flash on auto i have blue light on the picture ruining it but when i turn the flash manual there's no problem .
The flash works fine with the camera but doesn't work with any other app using the flash like flashlight or heart rate monitor. I tried downloading different apps or deleting the app and reinstalling rebooting the phone each time but the problem persists. Any suggestions? I upgraded to 5.1.1. The same
Camera light suddenly came on. Cannot get it to turn off. Tried setting the light to off, no luck. Pulled the battery while off as well as while on and re-boot without success. As soon as the battery is connected the light comes on.
This is a recent occurrence. The light under the navigation pad stays on all the time even when the phones is switched off. Which menas that battery life is not good . I have looked through all the settings to see if anything controls it but can't find anything. Is this a fault or some configuration problem? Any suggestions as to how to fix? Otherwise phone works fine - touch wood.
my Nokia E63 camera light has been staying on, i dont know how to get rid of it, i think its using more of the battery, and when i turn it off it remains on, the only way it disapears is when i take the battery out.
I dropped my iPhone 4S in the toilet. I dried it and shook out as much water as I could. I removed the SD card and put everything in a bowl of rice. It is still in there and everything appears to be working normally, but it won't shut off and the camera light stays on. I've tried the restart thing where you press and hold the pwr button and the home button. What should I do?
I bought hazel yesterday.being a Sony ericson product i thought it must be a great camera phone.but it was shock to see the led light gives distorted yellow light and also camera captures blurred pics.which are to be fixed by photo fix.any solution to this.please help me.mainly i wanna get rid of yellow distorted led flash lite.
This is my 4th BB and while I'm not a pro, I would like to think I know a little. I have not been able to find a flash option anywhere on this phone! I just upgraded from the 8330 Curve, to this one and so far I am highly disappointed!My friend who has an iPhone said BB is trying to be more like it. From the layout of the texts to the options. It's frustrating! If I wanted an iPhone, I would have bought one...I like the BB for the features it has not for being like the iPhone.Sorry, I got a bit rant-y but I cannot believe this new version doesn't have a flash. Hope I'm overlooking something!

the red charging light that comes on when charging phone has now started to stay on even when not charging and the phone heats up when using it and battery seems to be draining fast im to scared to charge phone up incase i fry it.
My phone was working good. I tried to update the software using SE update service. When I press C and connected the cable the software checked connected phone and replied product can not be identified, remove the cable and reinsert the battery. I did so. But now phone is not working when I try to switch it on, the screen just blinks with a light but no text on the screen. So it's been one of those days , my phone fell on the ground and the back got completely shattered but it was still working , but then I spilt some Pepsi on it so I decided to rinse it till it's clean , cause you know , it's waterproof and stuff but now not only is the back shattered , the screen started to flicker and then it wouldn't start anymore and all it does is constantly flash red lights in the corner of the phone when it's being charged.
When i put the flash on off mode the flash light turns on when the camera is focusing and it is annoying if you try to photo a person , as the light hurts the eye , is there a way of turning it off completly.
The flash on my w518a works when I am taking a video however it does not seem to work when I take a still picture. Is there a setting on the phone that I have not setup correctly?
