I'm having a problem with my back camera when I take picture with flash on auto i have blue light on the picture ruining it but when i turn the flash manual there's no problem .

I have noticed in low-light photos, in both Superior Auto and Manual mode that there is a blue tint on the edges of low light photos, especially more on the left side. The only way I've noticed I can really mitigate it is if I lower the ISO on manual mode, but then the photos would end up being too dark.
I have seen this issue discussed on other forums; some say it is a hardware issue, some software, and others say a camera module replacement may fix it. But I don't think Sony has officially ever acknowledged this issue, even though it is definitely present.

recently i buy a xperia z3 from Singapore, for a few days my camera is doing problem when i take picture keeping flash on. it seems like a rainbow shade right side in the picture.i have a warranty.

Let me say that the lens is not dirty nor blocked by anything. I don't have a case. I have just restored the phone today with Sony PC Companion and still the same issue.
View 10 Replies View RelatedA few days ago I stupidly dropped my xperia play in the bath. I let it dry out and place in rice in a sealed container for a few days to dry it out. However when I now power the phone up the camera flash light stays on and will not switch off even going into the camera settings and turning it off. I done the software repair download from the sony website but it hasn't helped.I also purchased a new battery as well. I am guessing it's going to need repaired but I thought I ask on here if anyone has ideas as to what would be causing the problem.

Every time I take a picture using the flash the picture comes out dark and blue. I noticed that when taking the picture the flash initially lights up white, but as the picture is taken the flash turns blue. Why in the world would it do this? As a result, I cannot take pictures indoors- the flash is worthless. I have updated the operating system, etc.

View 12 Replies View RelatedI have a Bold 9000 that started out with the original Rogers operating system some time in 2008. I've upgraded it through various 4.6 (or is it 4.7?) OS versions and I'm now on 5.0.0.662 (I haven't gone to .681 yet mostly because I keep forgetting). On every single version of 5.0 I've tried (Wind, Azercell, etc) I have run into two problems.
1. The camera takes pictures that are way too bright when using the flash. It's like it doesn't reduce the exposure time when the flash is on - almost every flash picture is totally white. This happens in auto flash and when you force the flash on. Pictures without the flash work the way you'd expect them to.
2. I can't snooze the alarm using a side key while it's in the holster any more. The alarm ringtone starts playing, I press the volume up or down key while the phone is still in the holster. On OS 4.6, this would cause the alarm to snooze for ten minutes. On OS 5.0 it just restarts the alarm sound! Totally pointless. This is especially annoying for me as I need to take pills on a 12 hour basis and so I have alarms going off at least twice a day, every day.
I often want to change the flash option (auto, on, off) while in the camera shooting screen. My last phone had a flash icon on the screen that made changing flash options easy. I can't find how to do that on the S5. Is there a way? Having to go to Settings is a PITA.

I just upgraded from the 8330 Curve, to this one and so far I am highly disappointed!My friend who has an iPhone said BB is trying to be more like it. From the layout of the texts to the options. It's frustrating! If I wanted an iPhone, I would have bought one...I like the BB for the features it has not for being like the iPhone.Sorry, I got a bit rant-y but I cannot believe this new version doesn't have a flash. Only i've got a steady blue led light and no keyboard light only when i start my blackberry on, the keyboard gives light. I have turned off every notification I can find, email, text, facebook etc. I have deselected the LED option ( changed to none) I cannot figure how WHY this light keeps blinking.
