the red charging light that comes on when charging phone has now started to stay on even when not charging and the phone heats up when using it and battery seems to be draining fast im to scared to charge phone up incase i fry it.
View 5 RepliesI have both the DT-900 wireless charging plate and the DT-901 wireless charging stand. They both have a charge light that stays on when charging and goes off when charging is complete. I've notice that with the Icon the light never goes out when the phone is fully charged. When I charge my 822 the light goes out when it's fully charged.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just updated last week to Gingerbread but this was happening before that. I plug my phone into my factory charger and when I go to unplug it it says it is still charging. Dosent go away until I reboot the phone, any ideas? When it is fully charged the green led even stays lit. Dosent do it all the time just enough to be annoying. I really dont want to trade my phone for a reconditioned one since it is only three weeks old.

I have looked through all the settings to see if anything controls it but can't find anything. Is this a fault or some configuration problem? Any suggestions as to how to fix? Otherwise phone works fine - touch wood.

While the phone is off, When i plug in the charger the "charging battery" indicator and the "Red light" on joystick appear, but within few milliseconds the display goes off (red light remains on) and the charging process restarts. This happens continuously until I unplug the charger. When the charger is plugged while the phone is turned on "Optimized charging" message appears but the "charging indicator" stays on current battery level.

I unplugged and plugged back in which made the clock pop up so I know it connected right. But its still not charging. I turned the charging indicator led on with berrybuzz and the light didn't turn on when I plugged it in.
Meterberry says the temp is 111 degrees. I don't know what the 'normal' ranges are. I'm still under my 30day warranty so do I take it back? Is anyone else having this problem? Its done this before and it eventually charges but something is going on....

View 3 Replies View RelatedI currently have the SE Satio & my phone is "on silent" at all times as I rely on being alerted by the phone's vibration. However, the phone does not vibrate when I receive a message or a call while the re-charging cable is attached.
This is extremely inconvenient as I have to change the phone "profiles" manually all the time otherwise the phone could be ringing for hours & I would not notice.
My charging base for the AINO has one of its hook which locks the phone/BT onto for charging is broken... anyone know how to get a replacement for that part? and is it covered by the oneyear warrenty?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have W810i and the problem is that it won't charge - i just want to make sure if the problem is in phone battery or faulty charger? The phone was turning itself off when slightly dropped on table and such. But other then that, it was working and today i brought it to the service and the repairman put other charger and it charged, but only after second attempt after he cleaned connectors a little. Now, i brought it home but it won't charge. The other problem is that it was charging only when i squeeze the connector into specific position, so i guess something with the connectors too, but i'm not sure which one, the charger or the phone. So, what do you think?

I just opened it, and first thing I did was plug it into the wall. Now, I have installed the update service, tells me phone is up to date (downloaded straight from sonyericsson.com). I have installed Phone suite 6.01; tried a repair phone, aborts with an error when it comes to the update service (right after the remove batery, press C while connecting phone part). Also same thing with car charger.
This week I have been having problems with the above phone, when I try to charge (using the charger supplied with the phone) it is fine for about 1 hour then I get a messgae that their is a charging error. I have checked my phone has the most up to date software, and tried phone repair using PC suite, which also fails. Am currently only able to charge via USB, which takes ages. Have only had the phone for a year - and still have 6 months to go on my contract.

The phone stays on and works fine while the charger is plugged in but as soon as the charger is removed, it shuts off again.
