After being an Android user for the past 7 years, this is my first windows Phone. I normally turn my phone off before going to bed, and connect it to the charger. The problem I have here is the Phone turns on automatically the moment I connect it to the Charger. my question is why don't it stay turned off.
View 10 RepliesI have both the DT-900 wireless charging plate and the DT-901 wireless charging stand. They both have a charge light that stays on when charging and goes off when charging is complete. I've notice that with the Icon the light never goes out when the phone is fully charged. When I charge my 822 the light goes out when it's fully charged.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI just updated last week to Gingerbread but this was happening before that. I plug my phone into my factory charger and when I go to unplug it it says it is still charging. Dosent go away until I reboot the phone, any ideas? When it is fully charged the green led even stays lit. Dosent do it all the time just enough to be annoying. I really dont want to trade my phone for a reconditioned one since it is only three weeks old.

When I checked, it was my iris scanner staying on right after the missed call, until I press the power button once then again to turn lock screen off. It has done this with every build...00, .11, .29, and now with .36. My wife's 950XL doesn't do this.

I got a data usage warning message the next day, so I made sure it was still connected to wifi - then I got another warning message advising me more charges were being applied to the data plan. I called ATT and explained and was told that the 4GLTE runs all kinds of stuff in the background that uses data and to turn the data off. I did - since then, no more data usage - however - it will not stay connected to wifi after a time out unless it is plugged in. It still shows that its connected to wifi but its not.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI have a Torch 9850 that has been shutting down repeatedly. It seems to crash and I have to do a battery pull for it to restart and when it does, it shuts back off again! The phone stays on and works fine while the charger is plugged in but as soon as the charger is removed, it shuts off again.

Well i usually turn the lights on in my room. This morning i did not as i unplugged the bionic the backlight light up dimly. I let it sit i finally got tired of testing it the backlight stayed on indefinitely. I let it sit 5 min still on i have to push power button to wake and again to lock. So i was wondering if anyone noticed this it can drain battery i sometimes put phone in gym bag after charging without waking phone.

1) Capacitive lights are not working . Only back arrow light didn't work.
2) Mic also not working.
I take it to Nokia care and got it fixed without warranty since it is two year old.And the technician told be that he changed many spare parts and he make use of 1320 spare and got it fixed. And now I feel my phone is getting very hot while charging and warm during normal usage in the top right corner of back side. I don't see heating issue on my other Lumia 1320 and 640 xl
I was just driving for about an hour and halfway through it just stopped charging my Lumia 1020. Nothing changed, one second the icon showed charging and then it stopped. Battery is only 40% charged so its not full.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have noticed that the back light on the camera (the small round one) stays on constantly. the lens cover was stuck open and the camera wont start. didnt hear the caller but the caller could hear me when in a call. no sound from the bottom speaker. all at once. screen ok vibrating ok.
I have noticed this when i pulled the phone from my pocket. it has been there for 20 minutes or so. before working fine.
Managed to get some of the hardware working later by looping videos i have recorded. after 4 5 times the sound came back. then after plugging headphones in the jack and pulling it out again i could hear the caller. then downloaded hardware test app and the camera came back but every time i switched from still to video the flash went off. happened also when switching from front facing cam to the normal one.
So just got my 6p yesterday but it seems as though ambient display although turned on is not working ND when I answer a phone call my screen stays black during the call and won't wake up.
So apparently it's because the tempered glass screen protector is covering the proximity sensor. I still have to actually test that theory out once I get a new protector but from doing some digging that most def it. Just a heads up I used the one by super shieldz so don't buy that one until they make a cut out for the sensor.
Ok. So when I charge my phone the red stays on. When I press the power key and hold it in the light turms off and the turn on screen appears( blackeberry&logo and white loading bar)
Once the bar is fully loaded the screen turns white.The red light appears again and the turn on screen comes back without me doing anything..
something has put my phone on mute.. i have 2 apps that i'm sure are the culprit.. they're cmsecurity and locale.. i've tried everything i can to get my ringer back.. the thing is, the notifications tells me when a text comes through..i've uninstalled both and still the phone is on mute.

-BB will not charge.
-I have BB desk manager, have removed battery and replaced, purchased new battery, purchased new a/c cord.
-charging does not work via USB to PC, USB to Auto, USB to A/C.
any suggestions?
-Unit has never been wet, nor dropped.

Having issues with their Nexus 5 not charging, or at the very least charging super slowly?
Mine has been plugged in for about 3 hours and only charged up about 10%. Could it be a teething issue (it's the first charge out of the box) or something worth contacting Google about?
When my phone is locked I press the home button and nothing happens. I press it again and nothing happens. I can't see anything. If I do my unlock pattern it works but I still can't see anything. If I press the lock button twice it will then light up the screen. I've changed launches and it still does this.

I then left it in my car (in the heat) for a few hours and it turned on and was working.The only issue was, the keyboard wasn't functioning properly. It would type several letters on screen when I typed any single key.I opened it up and put isopropyl alcohol on it, upon closing the phone it was not working at all.When I plug it in, the red light turns on. (and stays on for quite some time) however the phone never turns on.
