I have a Torch 9850 that has been shutting down repeatedly. It seems to crash and I have to do a battery pull for it to restart and when it does, it shuts back off again! The phone stays on and works fine while the charger is plugged in but as soon as the charger is removed, it shuts off again.
when i charge my gf's torch the indicator lights always just stays a flashing yellow, tho when i charge mine it will go to a solid green is there a problem with the phone or battery?
I have both the DT-900 wireless charging plate and the DT-901 wireless charging stand. They both have a charge light that stays on when charging and goes off when charging is complete. I've notice that with the Icon the light never goes out when the phone is fully charged. When I charge my 822 the light goes out when it's fully charged.
I just updated last week to Gingerbread but this was happening before that. I plug my phone into my factory charger and when I go to unplug it it says it is still charging. Dosent go away until I reboot the phone, any ideas? When it is fully charged the green led even stays lit. Dosent do it all the time just enough to be annoying. I really dont want to trade my phone for a reconditioned one since it is only three weeks old.
the red charging light that comes on when charging phone has now started to stay on even when not charging and the phone heats up when using it and battery seems to be draining fast im to scared to charge phone up incase i fry it.
After being an Android user for the past 7 years, this is my first windows Phone. I normally turn my phone off before going to bed, and connect it to the charger. The problem I have here is the Phone turns on automatically the moment I connect it to the Charger. my question is why don't it stay turned off.
I just got brand new phone from ATT, while charging I noticed the screen stayed on.Am I missing something or is this a Android Bug? Usually Developer option is hidden in a new phone. But on my phone the developer option was on and screen set to stay on while charging So when charged overnight my screen stayed on for several hours. Is this a bug or my phone was not 100% new?? Did it damage my screen? At least it was dimmed because it was dark...
I'm at work posting on the bionic so making this short. I let my phone charge over night with oem wall charger i unplug it to go to the gym. Well i usually turn the lights on in my room. This morning i did not as i unplugged the bionic the backlight light up dimly. I let it sit i finally got tired of testing it the backlight stayed on indefinitely. I let it sit 5 min still on i have to push power button to wake and again to lock. So i was wondering if anyone noticed this it can drain battery i sometimes put phone in gym bag after charging without waking phone.
this is my third Bionic and when I have the charger plugged in the backlight doesn't automatically go off after the minute that I have it set at. The first two phones didn't do this.
I have the new Torch 9850 and the other day it died I had it unplugged all night and in the morning it was needing charged and i pushed one button and it started to come on but died so I then plugged it in and all i got was a red LED light and I could not get it to come on at all even after letting it charge for awhile and now I have nothing at all not even the LED light
Ok, totally frustrated- I traded storm for torch 9850 and lost my mobile checkbook app. i was told to uninstall then reinstall. wont work. I tried to rebuy, doesnt work. I get purchase error ID 30220. contacted mobateck
When I first set up the phone, I got them fine, but after a few days they stopped coming in. I learned to re-register the phone on the network with the Host Router Table. After I do that, the messages pour in. Sadly, I have to do this at least once a day, sometimes twice, which is ridiculous since my Tour worked perfectly on the same US Cellular network only a few months ago."Registration message queued. It will be sent once data coverage is available."
I have just purchase a US Cellular Blackberry Torch 9850 but in my city they have not coverage so I went to a AT&T store to activate it, as the phone accept GSM networks but the phone does not accept any sim, at the top appears "Insert SIM card"They tryed to unlock the phone but it does not accept SIMS Does US Cellular use any kind of protection?
I have a slight problem with my Blackberry 9850,(everything else works ie BBM ok, Internet ok, SMS/MMS ok, incoming and otgoing calls ok, but i cant set up emails it keep asking me to register my device via ---> Options----> Advance options------>host routing table and register.....
I have tried the solution above, i get a text mesg/ SMS message saying your device has been registered with the network.....but when i go back to email set up , i get the same message again to register via the routing table.
My handset was originally a verizon wireless handset, i'm now using it on O2 (UK) , I've had O2 trying to sort this issue out for more than a week now to no avail. They have check my IMEI/ PIN which turned out to be all ok.
Service books are all in order, routing table has about 60 entries(O2 uk seem to think thats normal).
A couple of days ago my blackberry torch 9850 shut off randomly during the day and since then has been so slow that it takes(I timed it) 45 seconds to open an e-mail message. I've tried taking the battery out, I've reset it a few times and I'm working on reinstalling the operating system.
I've read a bunch of forums and most places say that I have to do an operating system reinstall every few months because THIS IS A FEATURE OF THIS PHONE? Is there a permanent fix for this or do I have to switch back to my android?
I recently moved over to tmobile from sprint with my device and the voice and normal texting work fine. BUt I cannot get on app world or bbm because it wont connect to blackberry service and I am paying for it. what can I do to trouble shoot my phone and get bbm and app world working.
1. When I use BB Desktop software to transfer data between phones and whatever else, do I lose the apps, icons, etc that came with the new phone? 2. At the same time I received the new Torch I want to break with my company's enterprise server. However when I moved data it also moved the company's email account over also. In the new 9850, how can I break from the enterprise server and delete that email account on the new phone?
Reboot froze last night, removed battery umteen times will not fix. BB RIM support spent 5 hrs today went to tier 2 and they could not get phone to load correctly. Reboot still freezes 3/4 of the way through.
I am not able to access BIS on my 9850 brought from ebay. Am trying to use it in Lagos, Nigeria (where I work) with Glo Telecom. When I restart the phone it shows US Cellular. On the back cover I can see Verizon Logo. My supplier says that it is fully unlocked, and I am able to make phone calls, check balance etc on the new network. The phone shows the network name (Glo ng), etc.The SIM card is the same I was using with my earlier BB (Storm) and has a BIS plan activated and was working before. But the 9850 says I dont have a data plan. I tried using SIM cards from other operators as well, it shows 3G at times and when set to 2G network, it shows "edge" in small letters.
I tried manual registration as well, but did not get any response. The Host Routing Table shows "No entries".Also cannot see any option for Internet email set-up. Only Enerprise Email activation comes up.I am able to use facebook and App World through Wi-Fi. Can Internet email service (Gmail) also be configured through Wi-Fi?I have spoken to US Cellular Customer Service. And he said that there is no issue. If I am not using their network, then the PIN might have been released by US Cellular.
When updated software I lost all my purchased apps frm bbm app world niw app world has no history of any of my downloards or apps how to get this straighten out?
I have had the phone app freeze on incoming calls. This is a rather fundamental problem for a brand new phone. I can't seem to find were to get the message to BB otherwise.
