HTC One M8 :: App Cache Is Saving Images In Gallery
Jan 13, 2015Several apps, including Sky Sports, were saving images to Gallery. I have solved part of the problem by putting an empty file named .nomedia in the root directory of offending apps that I can identify and then clearing the Gallery cache. However, there are still a large number of images of Flags of the World but I don't know which app is creating them.

Sep 23, 2014recently swapped to android from iPhone. Got a massive issue and I can't find out how to solve it. Every time I open the Formula 1 ( + others ) app, it saves EVERY photo within the app into my gallery, tried deleting the photos, but they come back the next time I open the app and it really annoys me. So much so I might go back to Apple.

Dec 11, 2011There is a folder in my nokia memory card called CITIES. It contains a folder named distance which is occupying almost all of my memory card. This folder belongs to my Nokia GPS.When I was in UK, nokia gps worked well, now when I am in Pakistan, the maps are not available for the cities here. So I started using Google maps.I have tried to reduced the 'Maximum Memory in use' to 20% by going into Menu>Applications>GPS>Options>Settings>Map But the folder still exceeds 2 GBs. Can I delete the diskcache folder without fearing any problems with the nokia GPS?

Feb 26, 2015I have a folder with some icons that I hide in gallery. I updated one of the pictures and wanted to show it again and gallery will not show it.
If I go into gallery and click on hide/show album that album shows with a check mark. I click on done and it displays something like hide/show was applied. However, the album never displays.
I have tried deleting the album and putting it back and it will not display. But if I change the name of the album in file explorer it shows. Is there any way to get the original folder to appear in gallery?

Well I have that little problem with it that whenever I download a pic from for example Google or Hangouts I don't have the -Downloads- folder in my gallery. They do not show up anywhere except if I go to "My files - internal memory - downloads" but nowhere in the gallery. In the gallery I chose the option to show every pic which is saved to the device but they don't show up only camera photos, screenshots. Nothing else.

Jul 10, 2015My 1 month old s6 (920i) struggles to get a 3.5hr SOT during the day. Coming from the s3 where i used to easily get a 5hr SOT with the same usage style i can say this is pathetic. In the battery section top of the list i have Android OS and Google Services, followed by Facebook and Instagram.
Note that i have most of the things turned off except when using them, such as wifi, gps, nfc etc... Also i tried booting to stock recovery and clearing cache but this has not solved the issue. The phone does go to deep sleep as i have checked using BBS.

Nov 15, 2011I've finally decided to do I just got the customary 14% charge warning, and so I open up Settings > Applications > Battery Use and Gallery is listed as consuming 44%.This is crazy, especially since I haven't even USED Gallery since the last time I charged (which was done following an auto-power down fwiw).I thought about going into Advanced Task Killer and seeing if I could change the settings to make it really aggressive against Gallery, but it informs me that all "green labeled" tasks are "front apps" that can't be killed directly. Manually killing it gives no joy -- the damn thing is right back in the list like some annoying Warner Bros. cartoon character the next time I open ATK.
I used to brag about the Xoom's battery life, but it's getting so I can't any more.I have not yet sent in my Xoom for the 4G upgrade; currently running build number HTK75D, but this has been an issue long before this build.

Jan 3, 2010My battery came out, and when I turned my Blackberry Curve 8900 back on , my SMS folder was missing.I was able to find it by:
1. Clicking the blackberry button
2. Clicking messages
3. Clicking the BB button again and scrolling to "View Folder"
There I have options like "browser messages" "facebook messages" "mms inbox" etc.
There are two sections SMS inbox and SMS outbox. I can get to my text messages that way, but its really tedious. If I click on SMS inbox it takes me to what used to be my text screen. When I click the BB button again, there are no "move options"Anyone know how to get it back to being its own icon on the front screen?
