On my Clients brand new Blackberry Bold 9700 I can not find the task/memo folders. This bb is on BES and everything else is synced. I have talked to AT&T and they have not idea were it could be. I have also wiped the device clean and restarted the BES setup and that did nothing. Does anyone have any ideas.?
there is a folder on the home screen that shouldn't be there. When i scroll along the first few folders the mouse shows that there is a sms unread (1) but there isn't when i go into the folder. I have done a battery pull twice and the folder is still there and the indication that there is an sms.
Can anyone please explain why i have a new 'mini orange envelope' icon with a 'thin swirly line round it' at the bottom of my folder on my 2 x hotmail accounts folders? They used to just be plain envelopes icons. Has something happened that I should be aware of or is something saved? What is this new icon alerting me to? or is this just a creative upgrade?(I auto-upgraded my BB Desktop Software to 184.108.40.206 recently, is this related?)I have always had a 'mini globe' icon at the bottom of my folder for my Gmail account. This has stayed the same. Does it perhaps represent a pop/hotmail account as opposed to a gmail-forwarded account?
My battery came out, and when I turned my Blackberry Curve 8900 back on , my SMS folder was missing.I was able to find it by: 1. Clicking the blackberry button 2. Clicking messages 3. Clicking the BB button again and scrolling to "View Folder" There I have options like "browser messages" "facebook messages" "mms inbox" etc. There are two sections SMS inbox and SMS outbox. I can get to my text messages that way, but its really tedious. If I click on SMS inbox it takes me to what used to be my text screen. When I click the BB button again, there are no "move options"Anyone know how to get it back to being its own icon on the front screen?
This morning I remember still being able to access my media folder through the Media folder, but now, I can't find the music icon anywhere, and when I mean everywhere, I mean like every folder on my phone. I'm still trying to get a hang of my software upgrade [6.0 Bundle 2342]. I can still search "music" and the music icon magically comes up on search and I can play my music, but I can't seem to find the icon anywhere else besides that...What should I do?
I accidentally hid an entire folder of pictures, or I think I did anyway. The folder that I think I hid still shows on my screen that lists my picture folders, but now it's showing as empty. I'm pretty sure I selected to hide the whole folder, and didn't actually delete everything in it.... I googled how to "unhide" photos, and it keeps telling me to go into media and "explore" but there is no "explore" option anywhere in my menu or even in the options submenu.
I have a BB Tour and am running OS v220.127.116.112. I would like to have a folder on my home screen that shows ONLY MMS messages, not SMS with MMS. I have searched this forum and Google but have run out of patience. I see plenty of solutions to separate email messages from SMS/MMS, but this is not what I want to do. I know that I can go into View Folder and navigate to the MMS Inbox folder, which shows only MMS messages. So, how can I get a shortcut to this on the home screen?
I have a Curve 8530. How to remove something from a folder to home screen...I downloaded a new theme which allows more icons on home screen and would like to put a program from a folder there for faster access.
I have recently updated my samsung galaxy s6 to android 5.1.1, since updating, my launcher, apex pro isn't showing the icons within a folder on my home screen any more, its basically a folder that contained all my game apps.I assume the issue was apex in someway maybe not being fully compataible with 5.1.1 but im not sure? Th odd thing is, when i open tap the game folder, even though its all blank with no icons, they do seem to be there, but just invisible, if i tap where i know apps used to be in the folder, they do actually stop open, which is odd.
I have tried deleting the folder then doing a restore in apex but the same thing happens. Also since updating to 5.1.1 some screens have also been a little laggy and my home screen was just black at one point and just showing the notification section / time but everything else was black and wouldn't go off, i had to restart phone to get it back to normal.
Recently got a blackberry bold 9700 as a gift. Noticed that a very tiny icon comes up near the upper left corner of the screen. Looks like a box or briefcase with a red circle on the top right corner of the icon, either with a white star or arrow in it. Its too small to say for sure. Can't find any answers in the manuals or online.
I am running .423 on my 9700 and cannot find the right option to combine my SMS/MMS messages in the Message Folder. With 405 I was able to go Menu>Options and see a dialog box to combine folders, but I can't find it under .423
I've just got a new white Bold 9700, and put a 16gb memory card in it from my Curve 8310. I dunno if that's what's caused it, but now I can't see my message folders on the Bold - be that the BBM, text, or my three email accounts. I'm still getting email notifications. What I've done to cause them to hide, and how I can get them back?
I just got a Bold 9700. With an OS v5.0.I have a corporate email set up through "Enterprise Activation" and I have set up my personal emails through the Email Wizard. The problem is: all the emails go to the Main Inbox. So in the Main Inbox, I have a mix of corporate emails and personal emails. The wizard also created different inbox for my personal emails, so I can access them individualy. But there is no way for me to get the personal emails out of the Main Inbox. Or creating a new Inbox for the Corporate emails.
I've had my BlackBerry Bold 9700 for more than 3 months.Lately, the icon's been getting stuck on my Main Screen. So, I always ended up uninstalling and reinstalling, and the problem would always get fixed
But last time I did that, my BlackBerry Messenger disappeared I tried everything!
I looked through every single folder, ticked Show All, but nothing I also went to Explore, showed hidden files, there was nothing I tried rebooting, deleting and reinstalling, also nothing I also went on Desktop Manager, checked the Application Loader, and it's there, it's ticked I checked Options > Applications > Add-on, and I can see that the BlackBerry Messenger is installed (Research In Motion Limited, version 18.104.22.168) My Device Software is updated, and when I check for updates, it says no updates available I tried Security Wipe, but it's still not there I tried to backup and restore as well, but nothing's changed What am I missing?Do I have to downgrade?
The new message icon remains on the home screen even after the messages have been read. It also remains on the Message folder.I was told to remove the battery when the phone is "On" and re-insert it. The icon does disappear only to return when new messages arrive. Is there a permanent solution for this problem? This must be a software problem but no new software updates are available from RIM
I downloaded a few application that I thought were demos of games, but turned out to just be links to the developer's website. It was essentially just a ploy to get some extra revenue, which I suppose is their perogative, but I found the label to be misleading. In any case, I now wish to remove these "demos", but I can't seem to figure out how. The menu on selection won't let me remove the icon (it can be hidden, but I want it gone), and they don't show up under Setup --> Applications. They also don't appear in App World, so I can't archive/delete them from there. I've been working on this for a while now, to no avail. Any thoughts?
I have recently notice a small red icon next to the carrier (Orange) name at the top of my 9700's home screen. On close examination it appears to be a house icon. I can't find reference to it in any of the booklets or by Googling. (I've also noticed that when I'm in the office it goes white).
how can i set emails to only go to my gmail folder, instead of to both Messages and Gmail, im only getting the notifications for the "Messages" folder, but it's cluttered. I read something about Message List Options, but i cant find it anywhere. any ideas?
my friend is experiencing severe errors on her bb 9700.
1. She cannot open any Pictures in her Media Folder. She can see the thumb nails but when she tries to open it to view nothing happens. Also when she clicks on the Menu button nothing happens either.
2. She can also play music on her phone but when she clicks the menu button nothing happens as well. therefore she is unable to send or receive music.
3. Also when she tries to change her BBM Picture she is unable to
4. When She puts on her bb the following error notification is seen: Uncaught exception: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException
Her OS was downgraded to the OS that came with the phone 22.214.171.1240 by her Carrier due to some bluetooth issues she was experiencing: that is she was unable to pair. Since the downgrade the issue never arose. We tried to Update her OS yesterday to the latest official release 126.96.36.1993 to see if this would help but after we launched apploader it said that they were unable to automatically back up her information and the update was aborted. If there is another way to manually backup the phone can you please let us know?
also if anyone knows any solution to these problems, please respond. Any input would be truly appreciated.
All my email folders have names (ie the email address). However one of them has (-1) in front of the email address (a google one). I have not seen this before. Has anyone else experienced the phenomena?
