Apr 8, 2012I have somehow lost the icon for "contacts". My contacts are still there, I can find them by searching but don't have an icon on my home page (or anywhere else) to click on to add new contacts or find old ones. Can anyone advise what I've done? I've tried synching with my laptop but that hasn't brought the icon back, and I've powered off. I backed up to the cloud earlier but am a bit bothered about trying a full restore! Besides, the contacts icon was missing when I last backed up, so it probably wouldn't come back anyway!

Jun 26, 2011This morning I remember still being able to access my media folder through the Media folder, but now, I can't find the music icon anywhere, and when I mean everywhere, I mean like every folder on my phone. I'm still trying to get a hang of my software upgrade [6.0 Bundle 2342]. I can still search "music" and the music icon magically comes up on search and I can play my music, but I can't seem to find the icon anywhere else besides that...What should I do?

BB Curve 8900 :: SMS Folder Missing .. Changing Folder To Icon?
Jan 3, 2010My battery came out, and when I turned my Blackberry Curve 8900 back on , my SMS folder was missing.I was able to find it by:
1. Clicking the blackberry button
2. Clicking messages
3. Clicking the BB button again and scrolling to "View Folder"
There I have options like "browser messages" "facebook messages" "mms inbox" etc.
There are two sections SMS inbox and SMS outbox. I can get to my text messages that way, but its really tedious. If I click on SMS inbox it takes me to what used to be my text screen. When I click the BB button again, there are no "move options"Anyone know how to get it back to being its own icon on the front screen?

I am little uncomfortable when I let people check out my phone and are able to easily see my emails and personal information. Aug 14, 2010I use Sprint and everytime I miss a call the Messages icon appears and does not disappear until I open the messages folder and open the missed call message. This is incredibly annoying for me, as I usually just press the send key and see what calls I have missed. Doing this does not clear the messages icon or notification.
I really dont need missed calls sent to Messages, the only reason I ever use the Messages folder is to clear the icon from my screen.Can anyone help me either disable this icon or alter what is sent to Messages?

Nov 18, 2011I accidentally hid an entire folder of pictures, or I think I did anyway. The folder that I think I hid still shows on my screen that lists my picture folders, but now it's showing as empty. I'm pretty sure I selected to hide the whole folder, and didn't actually delete everything in it.... I googled how to "unhide" photos, and it keeps telling me to go into media and "explore" but there is no "explore" option anywhere in my menu or even in the options submenu.
