I had a folder with some pictures in it, and I had set the folders propertys to hid the pictures in it and the folder still showd up but showd nothing in it. But now the whole folders gone and I can't find it anywhere.

ALL of MY apps didn't switch from 9000 to 9800. Haven't been able to set up BB email or GMail. No themes transfered. The 'option' page is strange..nothing like 9000, can't even find memory, etc. Anyone got theirs figured out yet?

I got the error 606 java error and with much head scratching I finally got the phone to plug into my computer to perform an update. When prompted to do the update I checked the box backup and update. The backup completed and went straight into the update. Once the update was complete the restore process began and that's when it all went south. The restore failed in the middle with and error, IM sorry no screen shot, but stated restore failed temporary backup will be stored in.... I was so frustrated I closed the box and couldn't find the folder. I was wondering if there's a place that I haven't looked that it would be accessible. I checked in the backup folder and searched for .ipd folders and nothing. the odd thing is the restore managed to restore my pictures ring tones apps but not contacts or saved messages.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI downloaded the app called Picmix from app world and decided I didn't like it, so I deleted the app after I done the reboot like it says to do after deletion of any app. I went into my media and then my pictures folder and all my pictures have gone from the camera folder and the folders I've created in there with my dogs. As I've deleted apps before and never had this happen, its the pics of my dogs I'm most upset about. Can I get them back in anyway or is that it? Also when I do reboot I have a pop saying "the media inserted have errors do you wish to repair the media card".

Also the phone guide tells you can select where to save the pictures by going to Settings - Application settings - camera - Photo or Video. Unfortunately in my N8 Belle there is no possibility to select any folder for saving the pictures. So I can not find the new pictures anywhere to remove them from the phone without using computer.

I accidentally hid an entire folder of pictures, or I think I did anyway. The folder that I think I hid still shows on my screen that lists my picture folders, but now it's showing as empty. I'm pretty sure I selected to hide the whole folder, and didn't actually delete everything in it.... I googled how to "unhide" photos, and it keeps telling me to go into media and "explore" but there is no "explore" option anywhere in my menu or even in the options submenu.
