I transfered some pictures from my computer to my phone and i can't find them on my phone . They do not appear in pictures in the media folder. I know they are in my phone somewhere because when I connect it to my computer they come up on the computer screen.

I've used the BB Desktop Software, and tried navigating the drive on my computer, but can't find any of my pictures either way. When I disconnect my BB from the computer, I can see my 216 pictures, but when connected, says I have none.

Back 100 years ago, on my 9530 running... .75 maybe, when I would take a portrait picture, it would be right if I transferred it to my pc or sent it as mms... I actually pulled the SD card out of the phone and checked it on my computer -- they're there, but I can't view them when the card is in the device. I can play my music from the card, but no pics. Or i mean, it charges but it cant be found in my computer nor itunes. I have removed all apple programs (itunes, quick time etc) and reinstalled, but this didn't solve the problem. View 9 Replies View Relatedif I take a picture I was always able to find it on my PC by browsing the DCIM folder but I can't anymore. I have it set to save to my SD card, it shows on the phone but not on my SD card even if I search by file name. I've done the searches from my internal and SD card on all folders not just DCIM. Pictures taken automatically start with the year & date so I first did a search with the actual filename 20150423_101014 of a picture I just took-no results. Then I did a search for everything that starts with 2015, only the ones prior to this issue showed up (as I said before this is a search on all folders internal & SD card) I recently brought my phone to the Sprint store because my phone would not install Android 5.0, they did a reset on it and since I got it back it's been like this (they couldn't figure that out so I still have Android 4.4.2). I have the LS990 variant.This makes zero sense to me, it has to be saved on the phone somewhere doesn't it?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am currently using HTC ONE, and i downloaded pictures from internet using opera mini.... Usually you can find and SEE the pictures you downloaded under "album" right? BUT I CAN'T FIND THEM ANYWHERE!!
I did select "show all pictures" under the setting selection of the album on the top right corner, and the "album" selection on the top left. When i just finished downloading the picture with opera, there's a choice of "view the picture with album" and at this moment I CAN SEE THE PICTURE
BUT! if i close opera and try to open it through album directly, I can't find them at all.
I've tried saving the pictures under various folders, none of them work. The part that really confuses me is that when I open the folders on my computer through HTC ONE Sync Manager, let's say I saved it under "screenshots". I can see the pic that I downloaded sitting there with the rest of the screenshots in the folder just fine yet when I use the "album" app that came with the phone originally, I can still see the screenshots that i made with the phone but the pics that i downloaded and saved are gone! Can't find them anywhere.
I downloaded some 3rd party file organizing app trying to solve it but the same problem occurred.
And I've used not just opera to download them...i've tried chrome, and the app that came with the phone originally. Same problem.
I was trying to save a pic and set it as my avatar last night and since i couldn't find it anywhere in the album in the end i had to take a screenshot of the photo, and then set my avatar through the screenshot pic (which is the one that could be viewed smoothly through album) .
I think since I downloaded the new software (I'm not 100% sure if this was correct) the pictures aren't showing after a certain date, but then nothing only thumbnails with the picture of a hill and memory card icon in the bottom corner. I open my memory card and they're not there.

I plugged it in to the computer tonight to see what exactly was in the double folders that I can see in the gallery. My computer can't even find the device. Went to Moto's site and downloaded drivers and installed them. Nope. Cannot find device. Ok. Son plugged his phone in - nope no device found. My computer runs XP. His computer runs Win 7 and he also has a Maxx with JB update on it that he got the same time I did. His opens Motocast and that is it. No drive letters. So on a whim, we took both phones to my granddaughter's computer running XP also and hers found all the drives on both phones. Is there a setting I am missing? We didn't change anything when we went to her computer..just plugged it is and it found the device and opened all the drives.

View 6 Replies View RelatedSo recently I noticed that my storage was running low. I went to manage some storage space and noticed that my photos and videos were eating up half my space! Around 15 gb of pure pictures and videos. I was trying to make some more space and started deleting some pictures and then I was deleting some music, I took a break and when I looked again there was no more pictures or music on my phone anywhere! Yet when it still says my storage is running low. A lot of those pictures I wanted to keep. I'm trying to plug it into my computer but I cant find the file and still can't find any pictures or videos on it. I'm running out of options and I feel like I might as well reset it, but then again I don't want to lose those pictures or photos. It also surprises me that they were taking up so much storage space.
